Hi, it will be a 757, all of the 757's at Gatwick park up for the night before so its difficult to predict any knock on delays you may encounter- as a side note the aircraft for your flight only operates your flight that day so any delay(from a "least disuption" policy) would probably be your flight- probably not what you wanted to hear but on that day there is also a spare aircraft from First Choice and 2 spare Thomsonfly aircraft capable of operating your aircraft!
Thankyou for info, have been watching times over last few weeks and hasn't been delayed too much..sad I know!!!
We are on this plane flying to Male on the 12th October at 18.05. Please can you tell me what sort of plane it will be and where it will have come from so we can look up any delays? Thank you for your help.
It is planned to be the aircraft that comes from Salvador(SSA) however there is a spare aircraft in LGW all day so should anything go wrong with that flight/aircraft you should be ok.
Thank you very much. Do you know what type of aircraft it is so I can look up the seating plan?
I dont think there are any seating plans available for this aircraft(the reason being First Choice's 767 are all slightly different)
The seating configuration is 2aisle3aisle2seats apart from that its a plane with wings and gets you there in one piece...
Hi
Am flying on Saturday on an FCA long haul flight...does anyone know what films are showing?[
Heva 2015 - go back to page 86 of this thread and about 4 post down, will tell you want you want to know
In response to the question of luggage weight limit on pg 87 , they will take one case up to 32kg if its for 2 people as we checked in with 2 cases one weighing 11kg and the other 20kg and the check in staff mentioned that next time we could take 1 case only . Hope this helps
Premier class is worth the extra leg room and the meals , but the fact that the tv programs are the same there and back is not on , yes the films may change.
At Cozumel airport there is no priority when the luggage comes in so it took 1 1/2 hrs to claim ours !
We are flying again in premier class in Dec to Sri Lanka and looking forward to the upgrade again
Thanks
On the bottom of page 87 you mention the three flights the day before a Fri/Sat - shouldn't there be a flight to PUJ? (especially as I'm going on it in a few weeks!!).
Secondly - now that FCA/TOM are bringing everything together, we are returning on a TOM flight number in early November - what are the chances of the aircraft themselves being mixed up? - i.e. what are the chances of us coming home on a Thomson branded plane (which I understand is 2-4-2 behind the curtain - ie less width per seat?).
Thirdly, and finally(!) - what are the chances of premier seats being available nearer the departure date (Oct 23), having not been available with FC when booking - and if so how would we know and how can we get them!?
Thanks for your help.
I think BY-TOM-AMM-FCA may have meant two other flights, in addition to yours. The outbound aircraft and inbound aircraft should be the same, ie Thomsonfly aircraft and not First Choice. It's when the airlines are fully merged from 1st May 2009 the aircraft are being streamlined, It's only the flight numbers that are being changed at the moment (to run under TOM AOC). There's little chance of premium seating being available close to your departure date as they get booked up quickly. The only chance is if someone has cancelled at short notice.

Thanks Darren - you did mean FC aircraft not Thomson ones though didn't you?!
Sorry, yes, FCA not TOM (it's been one of them mornings!!!) You're on the FCA070/1 aren't you?
Darren
Monday mornings are fun for us all!!
Not going to comment about the return flight number as when we booked (only six weeks ago) it was FCA031, then a four digit TOM1032, and now a different three digit TOM034! The actual flight times are all the same though!
TOM033/4 are showing on the winter schedule so they shouldn't change now. You're travelling on the transition between the summer and winter schedules, hence the changes in flight number coupled with all the merger stuff!!!

Are you travelling from MAN or LGW? because the only PUJ on a friday or saturday with either Thomsonfly or First Choice is a fortnightly MAN-PUJ. My original post refers to LGW rather than the aircraft in MAN
Hi - sorry - thinks it's my confusion!! - I read your post as day before Fri/Sat as being Thu flights, returning on a Fri. Hopefully you'll find a weekly flight on a Thu?!!
Its all getting a bit confusing,
If you are travelling before the end of October, then there is a fortnightly PUJ with FCA and a weekly PUJ with TOM from Gatwick
If you are travelling after 1st Nov then there is a weekly PUJ with FCA from Gatwick
