Hi, we are traveling to tingaki on wed (i know im cutting it short!!) just me and my lady, were only young and we much prefere the quieter scene than rampant nightlife, we like day trips and walks that sort of stuff. does anybody know of anything of interest around tingaki, like historical or natural sites. Also ive herd a lot about mossies and any suggestions on what to take to defend ourselves!! and is there products readily avaliable for them. i have been told about going to nissyros on a boat to see the volcno, anybody know where i would need to leave port from?

I am staying in the mythos apartments in a few days for a week as i havent been i cant say what there like but i can certainly find out for you in exchange for some advice!! do you know much about what there is to do, days out, places to visit that sort of thing

Thanks very much I just want to know what the new apartments on the left of the pool are like inside thats the left when standing by the bar.

As I said we were there 2 years ago and can`t wait to return. The beach is a couple of mins walk away and is long and sandy and shallow out a fair way. There is a pool at the Mythos which is very clean with pleant of sun beds and a bar. Over the road is a exchange place were you can change money, book trips ect. There are plenty of restaurants and places to have a drink with 2 main bars around by the Mythos called memories and mascot. The Island isn`t that big but there are plenty of trips like zia where they have the greek night right up onthe top of the mountain, Trip to Nysiros Volcano, Trip to Shape Waterpark (Kos Town), kos town is nice for a trip also, Trip to Bubble Beach wher if you go out in the water far enough there are all bubbles in the water, you can go on the day trip to turkey, day trip to rhodes, therma which is a hot sping just on the edge of the sea which is a bit smelly but a great trip, go into kardamena if you want to do some shopping as it is one of the lively places. there are lots of trip best thing to do is go and look outside Theokristas Travel which is just over the road from the mythos and run by a lovely british couple. we hired a car and went on some of the trips ourselfs which was much cheaper but some you can`t do by car. hope this is of help to you and if you want to know anything else please ask again. Also what are the all inclusive drinks like - do they have (fake) Bailey's? What are the wines like, and the beer?

We're looking to book a weeks holiday on one of the Greek Islands. Already been to Rhodes, Corfu and Zante.
We like it pretty quiet, but not too quiet. None of the 18-30 places. We're just in our 40's, but still very young at heart.
We like sandy beach's and clear shallow waters and also like to do a bit of sight seeing. We can hire a car for this.
Don't mind if we book self catering or Hotel B&B.
We both love the Greek food :-)
Also thinking of venturing on to a nudist beach, just out of curiosity.

Any Sugestions??

Come to kefalos in kos its quiet we have bars and restaurants some very good sandy beaches its a place that people come back to year after year no hassles, here you can either come with a company or do it yourself I can arrange accomadation and car hire for you,come and see us its a magic place.if you want some more information please send me a message.

Only another seven and a half weeks to go. First time we have had our hols in September and it seems so far away. Never been to Kos and can't wait to see it. Staying at the Antonis Hotel flying from Glasgow on the 8th September. anyone tell me anything about hotel, Kefalos or Kos just to keep me going through these long wet days until I get to go.

We are going to Kos 31 august. We booked Triton hotel in Kos town. I read 2 good reviews but may be some one can tell smth else about it may be someone have been there but havets wrote a review
Also i am very interested what rent a car comany u can reccomend me. Sure it must provide full insurance with NO EXCESS!! no self risk!! May be local byt very good or may be economy care rentals - i heard much about it. but does it really provide full insurance with no excess and do they have office at Kos or i must book in advance by credit card..i dont want to do it like that coz i had bad experience in greeece when we gave our credit card info...

Myself and a few friends are looking into returning to Kos Town between the 20th - 27th of October. We've just got back from a week long holiday in Kos Town and absolutely loved it.
I was just wondering what the night life is like, are bars shutting etc etc.

If anyone could help it'd be greatly appreciated!
