I have totally lost my motivation......again!!!
Hopefully it'll come back soon!!
Yes is quiet Denny - I think everyone has actually gone on their holidays! As I am not going until the end of the year shall be here all over the summer!!
GlitterGirl - it will come back - I find I have to take it one day at a time and look no further ahead than a week, else I become despondent with it all!
WI tonight - quite nervous as really want a loss. I messed my points system up at the weekend slightly when I mis-pointed something, so have been trying to make up for it since, but not sure I have managed!!
Glittergirl - don't lose heart you will get your motivation back - it happens to the best of us.
Denny - At the moment there is a promotion on at Curves buy a splenda product and take along your receipt and you get a months free trial - not sure on the actual monthly fees will check them out as I am getting addicted.
I am aiming for 4 times a week.
Keep going everyone.
Irene
Am now out of all my clothes - even my ones from the back of the wardrobe mentally labelled "thin clothes I probably won't ever get in again"! I have got trousers on today that I have strung a too big fabric belt through and tied at the back like a corset!! Luckily I found a top that is long to cover my attempt!! So am going shopping at the weekend - but only for a couple of basics to see me through, don't really want to spend loads and the clothes not last too long! But its good - I haven't been this size in years and years.
Well done on your loss girlin green.
Isn't it great when you get to a weight that you have not been for ages?
Keep up the good work.
Irene
Hi everyone. Not been on here for a while as I just don't seem to have the time. I haven't been being particularly bad but then I haven't been particularly good either. I have managed to maintain for a while, but I now only have 3 and a half weeks before I go away again so need to try harder and lose some more...I'll keep in touch.
Denny
A nice bright start to the day here in Wirral.
Gosh it is so quiet on this site. Where is everyong?
Well I decided to set my target weight at SW class last night - I lost a further half pound was hoping to get to a lower weight but decided to set my target - a toal loss of 1 stone 9lb I am in a smaller dress size and my clothes are not tight so trying to forget what the scales say.
I go on holiday in 3 weeks so aiming to be at the lower end of my target range for then.
Irene
I went back to SW last night - not been back for around 8 weeks!! Lovely to see everyone there and new faces as well. Really noticed a difference in some of the girls that have been there a while - boy! have they lost weight!!
I was only 1lb out of target, so was very pleased with that, and our consultant was really pleased with me. I could feel myself slipping though, so that's why I went back. Got the last SW magazine that I'd missed, so loads of lovely recipes to follow. I am feeling focused at the moment, so hoping to be back at target next week (I don't like having to pay anymore)
Good luck everyone this week.
Denny
Got weighed last night and lost another 2.5 lbs, that's 8.5lbs since joing SW four weeks ago. Why didn't I do this at the beggining of the year, never mind, I've got my wedding as an incentive now so got the motivation head on now. and I got my half stone sticker. When do they ask you how much you want to loose or what your target is, she hasn't asked me yet.
Don't you think SW is a really good 'diet'? It's easy to follow and just so much to eat!!
Also a bit easier when you a goal in mind, and a wedding is such an excellent goal to have!! Congratulations!
You can choose your target at any time. I chose mine when I started, as I knew what weight I dreamed of being - never thought I would get there, but I did!! Others reach a weight at which they are happy at, and use that as a target (like Irene). It's up to you.!!
Denny
You can ask your consultant at any time to set your target for you. I set mine when i first joined but my mate waited till she was nearly at the weight she felt comfortable at then set her target. Have a word with your consultant at next weigh in & good luck
It's easy to follow and just so much to eat!!
Isn't it just, honestly, before I started, I didn't eat half as much but obviously they were the wrong combination. I just love my full english breakfasts on a weekend and the fact that I can still drink and have a chocolate hit ( kitkat) everyday.
Mmmmmmmmmm big pile of chips, eggs & mushy peas for me
SW chips don't do it for me, much prefer proper ones.
Cazz - I also have the incentive of a wedding dress to fit into - in December!
I think the idea behind both SW and WW (which I am following) is that you have to eat (but the right things) to lose weight, otherwise you go into starvation mode. Someone I go to class with has been saving up their points for big weekend nights out and barely eating anything in between and just hasn't been losing weight. This weekend she didn't go out and actually ate her points allowance everyday and lost 2lb.
I had WI last night and needed to lose 2.5lbs to hit my first target (10%). I thought, as we had a meal out at the weekend and a few drinks, that it would take me a couple more weeks to get to the target - but I got on the scales and had lost 3.5lbs!!!
I am over the moon - got my next silver 7 sticker, my 10% keyring and have now lost 22lbs. Couldn't stop smiling all evening!! I have now been given a 20% target, which is strange as originally I only started with the aim to lose 2 stone. If I look at a BMI index I need to lose more but I weigh heavy for my size - people have always estimated I weigh about 2 stone less than I do. So I am 6lbs away from my mental target - but have 22 weeks until my holiday so am thinking that the WW target of 19lbs may be achievable by then?!!!!
Ive not been to a proper class for about 8 weeks but have still continued to follow the plan to the best I can. So far I have maintained the weight that I was at the last official weigh-in I had, and I have even been on holiday in the mean time. Cant be bad.
Im like you girlingreen. I weigh heavier than I look. Im in size 12 clothes now but weigh as if I should be in the smaller size 16s. It doesnt figure out but hey, size 12, im laughing :D.
I never did reach my target weight at class, so I would like to get those last few lbs off. Will work really hard for the next few weeks and see if I can lose 5½ lbs to reach it. If I cant do it on my own, then I will rejoin SW to get me there. Planning another week away before daughter starts big school so watch this space. Something to aim for.
Good luck all.
Sarah
I joined ww a year past March and I've now lost 2 stone exactly, which I'm over the moon about.
I'm just gutted that I've got no holiday or summer clothes that fit me anymore.
The clothes I did have I quite liked. Mind you, I might not have looked good in them.
Can't really afford to go and buy a whole new wardrobe. What does everyone else do?
Had to pay £424.96 last week out the holiday spends just to get the car through it's mot.
I cried all the way to the garage to pick it up.
Why does it always happen when you least want it to? Although there would never be a good time, would there?
Better go as I'm going .
Well done to everyone on their weight loss. Keep up the good work.

A lot of clothes shops have got sales on at the moment with some really good bargains. I got some beautiful dresses in our local House of Frazer at the weekend. £22 each!!! Also Mark One have gone into liquidation (our local one has anyway), so they have got some really cheap clothes in.....
It might be an idea to buy some things in one or two base colours, so that you can mix and match??
You will probably lose some more weight, so don't spend too much, in case you need to buy smaller sizes next year.!
Also what about a dress agency where you could sell some of your clothes that don't fit? Or a car boot? and then you could buy new ones with the proceeds!!
Denny
Oh bugger! I put a pound on this week. Too much of the bairns birthday cake I think. Never mind, he got a wii fit as a present so I am doing 30 mins yoga exersises every other day, may burn it off for next week.
