Javelin,
As kags52 mentions, you'll find aircraft seating plans on Seatguru; Airbus A330-200 and Airbus A320-200. Seating is personal preference, there aren't realy any 'best' seats.
Darren
Brilliant info thanks Neil and Darren - I will ring them on Monday. one more question.... we are flying Bangalore and have electronic ticket record, it doesn't actually state the aircraft on them. I think that route also uses A330-200 - am I right?
If you're going via Bangalore, aircraft are as follows:
LHR-BLR (IT002): Airbus A330-200
BLR-GOI (IT4613): ATR 72 (Kingfisher Red)
Darren
Thanks Darren - especially for the links. Will let you know how it goes

les127,

Bad news, rumours in the press that Kingfisher are in trouble
thanks
NEIL
Neil where did you get your airline cover?
neil
Thanks Neil - I have googled it and you can by on line so I think it might be a good investment. For peace of mind if nothing else!
We were booking tonight with Kingfisher for November. Infact the guy just phoned us from Southall Travel, but we have delayed now after reading about the Kingfisher troubles. I am a bit wary now
Is there anymore news? I can't find anything on the internet and want to book my flights (payday!) but am feeling a bit dubious
Havent seen anything else Celcat. We were just about to book our flights for November and March, but I wont be using Kingfisher now. I am very wary. No smoke without fire is what I think
Intend going via Mumbai but returning via Bangalore.
Anyone tried this way around ? ( You get a later flight time of 8.15am instead of 6.30 to Mumbai) The flight arrives in Heathrow before the Mumbai flight but you only have 1hr 45minutes to get through Bangalore .
Is that sufficient time ?
Also, having read about luggage being left behind, what about on the return leg when you start off on a small plane ?
Thanks in advance if anyone has any answers
Dave
