When you put your Web Code id in are you putting in O as a letter or 0 as a number. Try putting in 0 as the number not the letter O.
Also when you enter the security code as shown on screen - make sure you start entering the code at the very beginning of the box. It took me ages on Sunday to get on to the site to fill our forms in before I realised what I was doing wrong
Thanx for your advice i've actually sorted it now dont ask me how i did it i'm that stressed out right now i can't even remember my name.Jesus i' look forward to my bed tonite what a night i've had..Filling the forms in / paying for it was easy it was waiting till the end to print them off that caused the problem....Lets see if i get it wrong at the post office tomorrow morning,i should know how to do these now ive been 12 times 
Did mine online and posted them off last Thursday. Status is now showing 'Your application is under process effective 29-Sep-2009.Please bear in mind the minimum processing times before calling the visa center'

I emailed VFS about an error I couldn't correct on the system. And this is the reply
"You can make the correction once you have printed the application form. Make sure you do an signature besides the corrections."
I've printed the reply off, and will tuck it in with the application, just to be on the safe side.

Just been to the Post office to get postal orders and SDEs for visas sent off!!!Need a lie down now!!lol

Download application forms, sign and date them, post with passports and 2 photos and SDE if you haven't paid for it online. No need to post online payment receipt. With luck your visa should be back to you within a week!!

Hi aaround,I had the same problem last night,you have to go back to modify/retrieve and put your surname,and the code they give you in the box then your visa's forms should come back to light where you can print them off,i had a problem with the code i could'nt get it in,or it would'nt let me put it in kept showing up has a error but keep on trying like i did till i nearly pulled all my hair out best of luck aaround..

Hi Aarond, if you can't retrieve your forms I would suggest you download some blank ones, fill them in by hand and send them off with your passports etc and a copy of your on-line receipt of payment.

I didn't expect to be writing this as last year my online application was a doddle !
This year I can't get past the first page. I have entered my passport number and expiry date and I have a red message saying "passport in process". It's been stuck on that for 21 minutes now so I have sent an email to the VISA Info services asking what's happening. We'll see how long it takes to reply !

8 hours later, still can't get passed the first hurdle. The interesting bit is yhat if I fill in a different expiry date for my passport it will let me go on.
Anyone else had this problem or has anyone actuallly managed to fill an application form in today ?

why dont you just do it all manually, it will save the stress and then you can sit down with a nice drink and wait for them to come back in the post!!!!
if i have any hassle when i am doing mine thats what i will do (not doing mine till january though!!)

Dave read page 19 on this thread, VFS have not deleted processed applications from last year so it still thinks you have one in process.
You need to email them (details on page 19) give them your passport numbers etc and they will eventually delete them so you can apply, It took me 3 emails and about a week for them to do it, you will know by checking your application status at the link below when it cannot find it you will know its deleted
