So they've finally decided to treat all previous shack owners the same, regardless of how many years they've previously had shacks.
I believe the original plan was to give priority to those with ten years of experience, then 6 to 9 years, then 1 to 5 years.
And 10% of the allocation now goes to new applicants.
I wonder how many long-standing owners will be 'out' of the lottery - and what they will do if they are.
There's mention at the end of the article about the court next hearing the petition after eight weeks. What's all that about?
