great news about the shacks, if only the weather will improve now so that we can use them!!
Who's the doom and gloom brigade blobby?....Good news about the shacks but we'll wait and see when they are actually up and running.

Tuborg lager is available this season aswell.....Tipping it down with rain now! Will they put the shacks up in the rain?

I haven't noticed any doom and gloom about this topic All I have seen is concern that what people want when they get there may not indeed be there..............nothing wrong with that. The rest is just chat about the why's and wherefores.........nothing wrong with that either

So they've finally decided to treat all previous shack owners the same, regardless of how many years they've previously had shacks.
I believe the original plan was to give priority to those with ten years of experience, then 6 to 9 years, then 1 to 5 years.
And 10% of the allocation now goes to new applicants.
I wonder how many long-standing owners will be 'out' of the lottery - and what they will do if they are.
There's mention at the end of the article about the court next hearing the petition after eight weeks. What's all that about?

I suppose, as usual, some Goan magic will work, and after the lottery, somehow or other, all the regular shack owners will win, and appear as usual, in their usual places. With luck like this they should try the Lotto !
