Does anyone know the e-mail address of the on-site first choice shop please.
We have booked to go to the Holiday Village on 3 June and have a couple of questions...
Are there many mosquitos around the hotel/in rooms? Not sure whether to invest in an expensive mosquito net for 19 month old.
Booked a family suite. Is this classed as the kids den? We found the room options so confusing! Also what are the cots like?
Anyone been there with little ones who have been poorly despite being cautious with the obvious ie. drinking bottled water, avoiding salad, staying out of mid-day sun etc...
None of us had any tummy troubles at all, we ate ice cream, had ice in drinks and salads all the time but always used bottled water which i even used for wash her drinking cups and always used anti-bac gel on our hands before eating.
We've just come back with our 27 month old and also had a kids den which is called a family suite. We asked for a cot as well just in case our daughter didn't like the bottom bunk in her room. Good job as she didn't and asked to go in the cot. Had a bit of difficulty getting in the kids bedroom and ended up having to collapse it and put it up again. I guess they look like very old fashioned travel cots. But they had a decent mattress on and our little one slept fine the whole two weeks.

Any chance of a review on the Hotel review site? if you haven't already that is!
We are going to the Red Sea Holiday Village on Monday for the first time. I can not wait for 10 days of sun!!. Has anybody ever put their kids in the Reebok Football Acadamy as my son who is 6 really wants to join but as it £26 for 2 hours I just wanted to know if it was worth it. Also can you book it there or do you have to book it before you go.
Also, whats the rule of thumb for tipping. Any other hints and tips would be appreciated
Thanks
We are also going on Monday! weve been to other holiday villages and the soccer schools have been great but where about £45 for 5 lessons?, you can book them there I have a 5 year old and he wants to go the kids clubs are also great, where are you flying from?

I emailed the hotel 2 days ago with a room request, I havent had a reply, do they usually reply?
i am going to redsea holiday villiage can anyone tell me if you can smoke on the complex and do you have to pay for the beach bar
Hi all, going to the HV in May for the first time and can not wait. I was wondering if there was anywhere there where I could buy a woggle (those long cylindrical foam float things) as my 4 year ould is just learning to swim and prefers those to arm bands!
You don't have to pay for the beach bar and you can smoke in all open areas but not the enclosed bars such as the sports bar, the pharoah's lounge theatre and not in any of the restaurants.
If anybody is going here for the first time and wants to ask me some questions then please feel free to. I have posted a review as well.

can you tell me please--
Are the kayaks and snorkel gear included in the ai?
Can I change money at the hotel and is the rate ok?
The best room to request- close to pool. bar and food, good view (sea), sunny and not to loud?
The best cocktail for a baileys lover!! Can't wait!
And is this a different hotel to the Coral Sea? I have booked this one, but there was some confusion on trip advisor, so I just wanted to know.
Thanks
Jules
Coral Sea Holiday Village on TA is First Choice Red Sea Holiday Village in the brochures and on the website. Coral Sea Resort is the seperate hotel that causes all the confusion over on the other site. Can't help you with the other stuff sorry as we always stay at Coral Sea Resort rather than the Holiday Village.
As far as I can remember you had to hire snorkel gear etc.. We always take our own so perhaps someone else is best to comment on that.
We have booked via First Choice and quite fancy a swim up room now. Can you contact the hotel direct for an upgrade or would it be best via First Choice?
Can anyone give an email for hotel
