Ok, my call was answered immediately but was then transfered to customer services. I was asked by an automated voice to leave a message and Alison would get back to me - hmm :think

I am travelling to POP this sunday (2nd May) on tcx65k. Is there any way to know which aircraft is going to be used yet? Hopefully it'll be one with IFE, if not i'll need to take a few books.
Also, I'm travelling in premium and haven't prebooked seats, will it be too cheeky to ask at check in if theres any seats in the 1st row? Never asked at check in before, have always accepted what i've been given.

Laura1988,

We won't know which aircraft will be used until the day before. You'll have IFE on the aircraft. You can ask away at check-in to see what seats are available. Bear in mind many select them beforehand. If you don't ask, you don't get!

Hi. I am travelling from Manchester to Rhodes on 26.05, Flight No TCX461K. Our invoice says we are on a 767

I am going to pre-book our seats so we are all sat together and my son loves sitting by the window but do all the rows have a window seat? I am looking to book seats towards the front but I dont want to select a row that doesnt have a window

Thanks for any info

All but a few rows have windows on the Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). If you select row 9 or forwards in the front cabin, you'll have a window. Approximately rows 13, 15 and 17 don't have windows either. You'll find further aircraft information including photos and a seat plan on our What Aircrat? guide (link below).

Anybody know why TC would sell seats on a flight they apparently don't fly?
I recently booked seats from Glasgow to Orlando (Sanford) on Tuesday 31/08/10, flight TCX35K. When I tried to find out more about the flight i.e. plane type, IFE etc I couldn't find it anywhere! Glasgow Airport doesn't list it in the scheduled or charter flight timetable section and flythomascook don't list it either. The only flight both of them have listed leaves on a Saturday.

The flight number was given on our confirmation from flythomascook but the times listed match the Saturday Thomson's flight on the Glasgow Airport website not the Thomas Cook flights. Very confusing!!

I have tried to phone them but their operating hours don't suit as I am at work all day and they don't open at weekends.

Thanks

I wonder if anyone has any info for Robbie, as his post seems to have been overlooked?

I have tried to book Cuba for next May and T. Cook say they are not doing premium seats as from next Summer. Does anyone know if this is right. Thanks.

This is very true up to now anyway, no premium seats.

Cheers in advance for any help.

Your flights are operated by an Airbus A330-200 (long haul). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Cheers Dazbo so that means seatback IFE then?

Unless they substitute the plane for any reason?

Have you any comment to make on pansypotter's post regarding Thomas Cook Airlines withdrawal of premium seats. I believe she was looking to book for Cayo Coco.

Anyone ever checked in online for Manchester Airport? Ive had a nightmare getting through to TC call centre so instead I rang the alternative number of 0161 4984400 and asked for someone to call me back. Low and behold 2 hours later I a lovely lady rang me back and sorted my problem out - I also asked if I would be able to check in online for Manchester and she said yes - even though this isnt mentioned on their website!

Candyboo,

Details of Thomas Cooks online check-in is on Thomas Cook Airlines website. Assuming it's the same as other airlines, it's straight forward although not always quicker if you are taking bags as you still have to check them in at the airport using the appropriate desk.
