Just back from class and glad to say I lost 0.5lb - pleased as it was sons birthday on Friday and it lasted all weekend food wise!!!!!!

Irene; went to class last night and had gained 2 lbs :( . I wasn't surprised though because I've been back on the wine and crisps. Been for 2 long walks today and tried to stick to my points so hopefully it was just a blip :rofl

I have just got back from class and pleased with my 1lb loss.
12 weeks until my holiday so hoping for a further half stone loss?

After a break from the scales, I weighed myself on thursday and lost 3lbs. Discovered that the best way to speed weight loss is to vary your diet, I had been sticking to the same food, but the past 2 weeks, I've been trying something different each day seems to have worked.

I've gained 3lbs this week :( no idea why... been to the gym, followed the plan religiously, just hoping it's fluid. So difficult not to give up though! Might try a different diet

Rodial skinny beach sticks? Just seen these recommended in a magazine and they are apparently used by Cheryl Cole. Just wondering if anyone has used these as they promise to help burn fat and help you get a bronzed look on the beach. I guess seems to good to be true, just wondering if anyone has used them?

Can I ask what plan you are following?
I gained weight last year after doing a lot of cycling - remember to measure yourself, you could be losing inches but not weight.

I'm on Slimming World. But I've been following it on and off for about 16 years (since I was a child and my mum joined) so I'm wondering if it's not as effective now.

Since you've said that. I've had some pretty intense gym sessions, and wondering if that has anything to do with it. Hoping it will all balance out next week though.

Are you still on Slimming World?

Still doing SW - I follow the green days as I am a vegetarian - triedd EE but miss my 2nd HE's - although lots follow the EE in class and we have some very good weight losses.
Hope you see a good result at next WI
I am doing a 28 mile sponsored cycle in 2 weeks and just hope I don't have a weight gain like last year - although I am going to measure myself more often s my clothes are still fitting ok.

I'm a veggie too :) going to try fast forward next week :)

I tried FF a few months ago but only managed 3 days - thought it was a bit restricting for us vegetarians? However it may be easier to do at this time of year?
My SWC did it and lost 6lb. I really missed the fruit.

I like the fast forward because I can have my cornflakes and ready meals lol. I've found it to be a lot less restrictive than food optimising but the lack of fruit can be a bit of a pain!
I like the sound of Extra Easy, might give that a go. I'm still following food optimising and having the same all the time! As a veggie the choice is definatly limited!

Dramaqueen, have you tried success express? That can really help to give your losses a boost while still having a lot more freedom than FF, you also won't miss your fruit as you can eat buckets of it! Don't worry, It's really common to have a gain after starting a more intensive exercise regime as your muscles take on water to start with. If you've food optimised 100% though you will see it come off next week.

I'm a SW consultant so if you want any advice just shout!

I think it got altered slightly in the new year so depending on when you last did it it may have changed slightly, the 2/3rds of your plate is now only the new superfree foods (fruit and superfree veg) but in between meals you can snack on things that are free on both plans (the old superfree list so fruit and s/free veg, eggs, quorn, mullerlights etc)

Hopefully it'll help you. I had a member the other week who had been struggling with the 2lbs needed to get to target for weeks so I suggested doing success express to get her there and she ended up losing 3.5lbs!
