Caz-Well done you!!!
Its a fab feeling when you realise your hard work has payed off.
Lily. x
Thanks Lily, only a stone to go till my hols in 8 weeks....hope I do it. Fingers crossed.
I have 12lb to lose in 9 weeks ( last week cant count as i have 3 nights out and defo gonna gain ) So eight weeks is it really. Shall we have a race xx
yes alsbaby, you have thrown down the gauntlet and well done you.
4 Scan Bran (Buy at class or at Holland and Barrett)
2 eggs
3 or 4 tbsp sweetener (to taste)
1 sachet Belgian Choc Options (I used the plain chocolate hi-lights as I am not keen on option)
26g Curly Wurly bar
method
1. Soak the Scan Bran in boiling water to soften. Then drain and mash with a fork.
2. Beat the eggs and stir into mix, along with the sweetener and Belgian Choc Options/hi-lights
3. Chop the Curly Wurly into pieces and add to the mix (I found it easier to cut with scissors)
4. Pour the mixture into a microwavable bowl and cook for around 6 minutes. When cooked the cake will be springy to the touch and will have pulled away from the side.
Tip: Chef's tip: For those who don't have a microwave, you can cook the cake on 200°C/Gas Mark 6 for approximately 30 minutes.
It's just 12 Syns for the whole cake and can be divided into as many slices as you like.
Enjoy..............................
12 syns for the whole cake........that leaves me with 3 syns left........
Irene when ever i made a cake from scanbran and eggs with SW, I always found they tasted really eggy but with the options and CW i bet its really nice. I however will have to wait to taste it, if i decide to go back to SW at some point.
I am having special fried rice ( Iceland ) with 200g cooked shredded chicken on top yum yum, Looks like chippy and tastes like chippy so in my mind am having chippy. WW dessert for after it. Roll on 7pm
My weigh day is Tuesday. Doing slimmers world extra easy, it seems a lot easier than red and green which I did before and gave up after about 8 weeks as I'd only lost 6lb!!
I used to do SW but just red and green and then they brought success express and another ( cant remember the name) but i believe they have newer ones now too. I used to love SW but i couldnt cope with only 2 B sections, i used to have terrible trouble finding something to eat without one and stick to the same stuff. I do miss it but the calorie counting has been ok this time and has worked for me so its a case of, if it aint broke dont fix it. I may give SW another go when i get to target. When i started this diet i fixed my target at 9st but with my body being a totally different shape to when i was younger i dont think i will be happy at 9st and thats why i have now changed it to 8st 7lb. My hubby seems to think i am gonna start falling down grids but when i sit down i still have my spare tyre so i suppose exercise is the only way to get shut of that. I hate exercising!!!
Am just wondering wether to dip into tomorrows calories . I am not hungry but i want a snack while i watch telly. Well that didnt take long cos am having it I will be crying tomorrow ha
Evening everyone. Irene: SW Curly Wurly cake sounds lush; even though I'm not 2 bothered for desserts, will try it because I love Curly Wurlys. Alsbaby: Going to try some of the things you have mentioned; sound right up my street!! Well it's the start of another working week for me so might get back on track. Gx
Weigh in for me tonight?
Went for a 3 mile power walk last night - feeling it today.
I am making the CW cake again tonight and will take to class for people to try.
Have a good day everyone.
Irene
I'm not doing SW or anything but like the idea of that cw cake. But hey Irene, you can get Hi-Lights in chocfudge flavour, that might work even better with the toffee in the curly wurly?
I have been thinking of differents cakes instead of CW - maybe a mars bars type?
Will let you know.
Irene
Caz how did you get on with your weigh in I need to know what i am up against when i step on the scales tomoz
Hope everyone is keeping well.
Hello. I'm no competition in the 'weigh in stakes'. Havent started yet . Been for a walk today and hoping to walk for an hour at least 5 times per week. Gx
is all i can say. I have stayed the same AGAIN. I am now defo blaming the tablets and i have another 2 weigh in's on them. I am putting in 110% and not seeing any of the benifits I am now dreading next weeks weigh in and i might not even be as lucky to maintain :duh.
12 lb to go before my hols.......
Chin up alsbaby, you could always ask to try that quick fix week, see what happens then. Never done it but my mam has and she said it's hard but she stook with it and last 5lb the week she tried.
I have tried the fastforward and it does work but am not doing SW at the moment i am on a strict calorie count, So i really have nowhere to go, i cant lower my cals anymore cos i am only on 1000 as it is and they dont recommend being this low anymore. I will just have to get on with it but its soooooooo disheartening when you have been good but it doesnt show
aw bless ya, I couldn't live on 1000 caleries a day, keep ya chin up pet!!
