Have been absent from site for a few days now. :yikes
Went to WI on Tuesday and managed a 1llb loss.
Hoping as I am off for the Easter hols I can do a few EE days on SW and see what everyone raves about - normally do green days.

Got weighed on Friday and I'd lost a kilo; not brilliant because I've around 3.5/4 miles every day and still given up on the vino :( . Trouble is the weather has been gorgeous so I've been sipping a few ciders!!

I didn't go to class tonight - I was feeling 'very down' just with everthing. :que
Woke up this morning feeling refreshed and raring to go. Maybe booking our flights too Cyprus yesterday has helped and now I need to keep focussed on the holiday and loose that weight. :really
Lots to do in the house - so lots of body magic and I am going to get some old magazines out later and loook for some new recipes as I seem to cook the same things regularly.

Hi, Just started the 'Ducan' diet...look what it did for Carole Middleton!!!! First 2 days difficult but 3 lbs off so will keep going! Did this diet last April - when H was in Portugal playing golf(hes away again!!) - lost 12 lbs and have kept 10 off with ease since so will keep going...

Been avoiding this topic like the plague :rofl . My holiday is 8 weeks away so it's time for action. Starting the Dukan diet on Tuesday (after the Bank Holiday Weekend). Need to lose at least a stone before then and I understand it's achievable on this diet :) :) :)

I am about to head of to the gym, and weigh my self, last week havent been alot to the gym, bank holidays gym closed early, and work

Tried to get out on my bike, 4-5 hr cycle, at least twice last week, aiming to get back to a gym routine this month, and try to meet my targets; May 13 stns ; June, 12 stns, for Dec ideally I would like to weigh 10 stns

Diet wise more or less have been sticking to my diet, my last weigh in 19 April I weighed 92 kg, 204 lbs, next few weeks aiming to get my self under 200 lbs

Want to see if I have put anything on or has the diet helped in loosing weight

Sorry! My spelling...Dukan diet..you can get details on google - not unlike Aikens but easier and it works.

1 May 2011: Weighed in at 93.60 kg; 206 lbs, lost 10 lbs in weight over April

I am surprise that I have not really put on alot of weight, Easter sunday out for dinner with family, and the meal was a carvery set up, had starters Pate, followed by soup, main course; at least 5 choices of cooked meat, so I took roast beef, ham, lamb, and turkey; the roast beef and ham had big chunks of fat the way I like them cooked, vegs and roast potatoes, and for desert ice cream and apple pie

After doing 90 minute exercise on the treadmill, constant exercise no break, at a walking pace 6.5 kmph, my new weight is 92.50 kg; 203 lbs, and aiming for 90 kgs; 198 lbs by Thu 5 May 2011, and for next week aiming for 85 kgs; 187 lbs; and this would put me in reach of my target weight of 13 stns for May

My exercise program has helped me greatly, with my problems with my heart, started of doing 45 minute sessions, and slowly worked up to 1 hr session, and only in the last two weeks have I felt able to progress to 90 minute of exercise. The next stage for me, is to include some sort of incline for a short time, and to increase the amount of time I spend on the treadmill, aiming for a maximum time of 120 minutes, which should burn 900 calories at least

Have had a good 5 days on SW. Written everything down so I can see where I need to improve?
Had a few treats and synned them all over the weekend.
Hoping for a good loss in May?

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is my problem :duh I went for a little drinkie poo's with hubby and my son ( he came back from Spain for Easter) Not a problem i hear you all say.......... Not for some maybe but me.... now thats a very different story. That drink lasted two week and inbetween that think i have ate every chippy out of house and home :rofl

Not to much damage though, i got weighed this morning and i had gained 1lb Not alot for what i have been upto. Oh well i got back on today and although i have no chance of getting to my target of 8st 7lb ( I changed it so i could safely gain on hols) I will have to get on with being 9st ( My original target) I have 2lb to go for this but only one more week. Hope i can do it :tup

OMG alsbaby; to be under 9 stone would be wonderful :D . I'm struggling to get to 12 stone :( . When I think back, I thought I was heavy when I was always around the 9 stone 2 lbs mark!! I've had a fab time since last Friday what with the Royal Wedding, beer gardens, takeaways, etc etc. I'm now sat here with a large glass of Sav Blanc!!! I haven't eaten loads today though; just fresh tomatoes on toast and a chicken salad sandwich (and a bit of my Easter egg). Walked about 3.5/4.0 miles yesterday and today so I'm hoping I wont have gained too much when I get weighed on Friday! Gx

I went to WI Last night and gained 2lb. :cry
Done 3 x 5 mile walks, kept to SW plan (had a few EE days - normally do green days).
Just don't understand it..................

G, I know what you mean about the Royal wedding gotta have a drink watchin that :tup Pity mine went on way past it :duh. Fresh Tomatoes on toast and chicken salad sandwich sounds healthy enough to me. And i defo know what you mean about thinking your fat when your not cos i used to do it but saying that i am 9st 2lb now and still not happy cos i still have flabby bits ( I know i need to excercise but i HATE it) but still saying that i cant excercise my face ( well i tried with the drink and food lol) but am not happy with the weight thats come off it so far, it was much slimmer when i was younger and i thought it was supposed to go slimmer as you got older lol. Goodluck for tomorrow hun i will come back to see how you got on.

Maybe its water :que Or could be your body being so used to green days and your body has stored because wyou have changed your food. What did you consultant say or are you like i was and just leave nearly in tears( in my case to the nearest chippy) without staying to class . God love ya hun i really feel for you. Try not to give up though as it will probably show next week with a biggen.

Hi als. Just had chicken and mushroom pie (nice one from Cannon Hall, Barnsley) mushy peas and gorgeous thick red onion gravy :oops: . Now on my second glass of wine so I'm afraid I wont have lost any weight tomorrow (just hope I havent gained too much).
Oh, poor you, Irene. I'm sure next week you will have lost if you keep at it but it's so disheartening when you have stuck to the plan and gained :yikes . I just wish I could get into 'diet mode'. 8 weeks tomorrow before my hol. :sun2 . How much could I expect to lose if I start dieting (properly) after the weekend? Gx
