Just opened the local paper and they are advertising Christmas party nights.
I suppose it will be easter eggs next...
Lost 2lbs this week on SW and have had a good week so far.Only 4 more weeks until holiday so need to be focused.
Joined SW last Tuesday. Will let you know how I got on after the first weigh in. Gx
Well done for going before Christmas. I got to target for my summer hols but have put back on 8lbs and am dithering about whether to go back this week or after Christrmas.
I have put half a pound on since August so still in target allbeit a heavier target than what I originall set - just been messing about and I was going to be so focused on a nice loss for Christmas - Suppose between now and Christmas (6 weeks today), we could all lose a few llbs?
me too Irene ........... weighed in Weds night and same as when I went on my hols in July... lost 18lb up to that point.....been faffing around since August pound off and pound on!!!! only 4.5 from my goal would love to get there before Xmas
Starting tomorrow or next weigh in which ever suits lets say 4 weeks on SW with back to basics weighing,measuring and counting ALL syns.
I do Green days during the week and try for EE weekends.

I was 13st 1 on New Years Day and I was 12st 3 yesterday so I am almost a stone lighter, but that is before Christmas. My excuse is I have been lucky enough to go on a lovely long cruise of 24 nights. Before I went I was down to 11st 12. Been trying to get back into it but really need to read my books. I'm making daft mistakes like having 2 Shredded wheat as a HEB when it should have been only 1!!!

Tip 1 - Lots of soups, I love the 12 speed vegetable soup, carrot and lentil and just got an amazing Mushroom soup recipe that I am going to make tomorrow night.
enjoy the pasta, jkt pots filled with tuna and onion,eggs ect.

Well I decided to bite the bullet and go back to SW this morning. I know I have put on (ahem lbs) so need to get back on track. I will have to pay from next week but hopefully it won't be too long before I can get to at least 3lbs off my target and eventually back to target.
Had a brilliant day yesterday until about 5pm.
Was working through until 8.30pm and the school laid on refreshments so what did I do I munched and munched.
Hoping to limit the damage by having a good 4+ days before weigh in.
Ann - Not sure if the soups I mentioned are on the SW site - if not I can let you have them.

SW 12 speed soup
1 can mixed bean salad (I get mine from Asda)
1 can green lentils
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 can baked beans
handful of split lentils
2 large leeks
1 large onion
4 medium carrots
2 parsnips
green, red amd yellow pepper
2 stock cubes (beef or veg)
salt and pepper, mixed herbs
water - enough to cover ingrediants
Chop all the veg, put in a pan with water to cover and bring to the boil
and simmer until soft - can be left chunky or blended. Freezes well
Can also be cooked in a slow cooker.
Make approx 8- 10 portions.
If there are any ingredients that you don't like you could leave out and increase something that you do like?
