hi emmasholiday, your daughter will be able to go to the tweety creche but you do have to pay for that one, not sure how much.
last year the all inclusive drinks were: brandy, vodka, raki, i think gin, lager, red and white wine, coffee/tea, water, coke, lemonade some sort of cordial which was help yourself. dont know whether they will add a few more this year though as there was quite a few complaints about lack of choice.
its a lovely place (in my opinion) my kids loved it :D

hi johngibbo33
were going back to the pp , itll be interesting to note the changes. The dame mozzies will still be there we know, but our kids loved the pools and the reps were superb with them , tina took my daughter for swimming lessons and she would love to see her again this year im sure . with the pt being open it gives us more options as well, and as there is loads of us going mainly with smaller children we will make our own entertainment if we need to on a night time.

hi all

mutleys better half here

we stayed at pp last year i enjoyed it that much i convinced the family that we should go back this year.

we had booked for the tropical as there were no rooms left at the place (but have been since even though fc cs said there wouldn't) but have been moved to place as there are 4 of us and we booked a jacuzzi suite.

we go at the end of july and can't wait hope some of the staff are still there as we had exellent service

any one eles there from 27th july

to emmasholiday in my opinion you should take no notice at all of peoples views on here, we went in september and there are upsides and downsides, we found it a terrific place but far too isolated, other holidaymakers liked the remoteness,

we found the food better than we expected, others thought it was awful, we had no problem with kids, others did... we thought the entertainment in the amphitheatres to be childish fun, other people thought it was 1st class.

you only have to go back and read the differing opinions, my advice just go and if you dont like it dont go again, we wont be going back, but i respect the opinions of others who cant wait to spend another two weeks there.

its called horses for courses, you either love it or loathe it, if you have kids you,ll love it if you havnt ,then go to benidorm.

I agree with Black Knight...

I have given an opinion of my veiws of this hotel, but thats all it is MY OPINION, I don't expect anyone to agree or disagree with what veiws I have as they are MY veiws...

If anybody asks a question i will answer truthfully if I can if I don't know I won't say anything, if they want a opinion I will give them one (but this will come across to some as moaning/a ploy for compo etc....it isn't and I don't really care anyway)

I won't be going back here again, likewise I won't be doing AI again but then it is my holiday and yours is yours so pay your money and enjoy if you can, if you can't/don't put it down to experience and don't go back...

hi scottishmum

there are quite a few jewlers in the village also there is a jewlers at the palace i was quoted £300 for a 18 crt white gold ring with 0.14 crt of diamonds at a jewllers just as you arrive in serigarmi village.

i would hold off buying insect repelent untill you get there we found the spray that you can buy in the site shop was very good and having o couple of shots of rakhi at tea time worked wonders :hyper :hyper :hyper

hi mutley crew, we bought the sin kov spray when we were there but we thought it stung your skin and the smell was overpowering, not too bad for adults but not for the kids. they had sold out of cream so we couldnt try that! we've heard avon skin-so-soft is good stuff. i also drank raki and still got bit but not as much as some people did! :)

Thank you for your reply Mutley crew. I have my own mozzie strategies which worked well for me in Turkey before, you can search my old posts in the Mozzie topic if you like :-D
Take care and thanks again.

We had a fab time and met loads of others who did too!!
A holiday is what you make it, but if you go looking for things wrong you would find them!! :D

Most of the later reviews on here seem to be excellent! :D

I notice in the new brochure, which I picked up yesterday, theres no mention of towels or mattresses for the sunbeds being all inclusive :(

hi colin, we went in october with our five kids and another family and their four kids and we all had a fantastic time, so much so that we have booked to go again in july with some more friends :) i'm sure you will love it!

scottishmum - i do hope the towels and mattresses are included but its not that much of a problem if they arnt. is there anything else thats different? i must go and pick a new book up :D

PP
Hi Scottish Mum

Towels and mattresses were included when I went in September, but we very rarely got the chance to use them, a lot of people got really wound up about this, maybe they've not included them this year because there definately wasn't enough to go around and selfish people were hanging on to them the whole of their holiday even takin them back to their rooms at night. If they are not included and you manage to get hold of one then it will only be a bonus (if you get my drift!!)

We had a really good time, would never go back to PP but would definately visit Turkey again

Thanks for that. I'll be taking a couple of towels for the first week anyway as we always buy new towels in turkey so I'll just use them if need be.

There was no mention of icecream in the brochure and the safe had a * for payable locally next to it. I'm sure this was included last year.

Anyway, I'm just being petty really, anything to talk about my forthcoming holiday pmsl. I'm sooooooooooooo looking forward to it. We're quite easy going and I just KNOW i'm going to enjoy this holiday.

Has anyone else had a letter telling them their rooms have been changed? I booked a standard room that slept up to four, for three adults and one child. I received a letter around Christmas saying that they've discovered that these rooms cannot now cope with this occupancy and I will be allocated a double family room instead, all fine with me.

Does the double family rooms have two seperate sleeping areas? God I'm sooooo nosey!
Reply
hi scottishmum, the double family rooms at the palace have asliding door separating the sleeping areas but not at the tropical!
the safes were free last year.
i hope that the ice-creams are free, they were last year and they were lovely :D
