i have booked a prem jacuzzi room too!! i have spoke to hotel via email, and he said the rooms have been built and have been in operation since january the 12th 2006 hope thats true.
Dont worry about the new premium rooms as you will only use them for sleeping.Their balconies overlook the small pool but face the road into the hotel and overlook the Baron Palms next door. They are certainly not in the best position in the hotel. The older rooms overlook the pool and beach and I certainly am glad I was in one of the older rooms with a lovely view when we were there in Nov/Dec.
so are you telling me we paid extra and there is not a ocean/ sea view?
I certainly hope not as I too have paid extra for a nice room with a nice view!!
I have sent the manager an email and will post his reply on here once I have it.
If it was, and you requested one, then I'd assume you would get one. If not, make sure you get a refund for that part of the holiday!

The new block is just outside the main entrance to the hotel which looks on to the road. The balconies overlook a small swimming pool.If there is a window near the door this will overlook the sea but not over the wonderful beach at the Conrad. The beach there doesnt seem to be maintained as it is out of the confines of the hotel. There are premium rooms in the original part of the hotel which overlook the pool and sea.We did not pay any extra for our room and it was fantastic. It was just a room and bathroom with a balcony leading onto a terrace with a great view of the pool and sea(room no 2183).Some of the pool view rooms that people pay for have got no view as the patio has lots of trees blocking the veiw.I would email the hotel, ask if you are in the new block, then ask for your suppliment back because the main pool and beach is must better than this little pool overlooking the road in.From the main entrance the hotel is built in tiers down to the sea so the higher your room(in the main hotel) the better the view.We only used our room to wash and sleep as its so wonderful outside especially the beach/sea area.
Agreed, the view of the beach is wonderful!
As the Jacuzzi rooms are new room type in our Hotel since January 2006 ,this is the reason that they are posted on our Web site , also another reason because theyare bookable only through First choice in UK
The Jaquzzi room is a premium King bed sea view room with a Jacuzzi installed in the bath room
for any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us

to be honest. i can see why pay 170 quid extra each if the room was not sea view. i mean if he was lying then he have more problems when we get there. the rooms are completed, so i mean i cant see how a prem room with sea view and jacuzzi can be worst than any of the others, as he will have complaints dont you think?
The only way I can think of the new premium rooms having a sea view is if they are counting a distant sea view between the entrance of the Conrad, which is on the highest point of the hotel, and the Baron Palms next door.Out the back of the new rooms is the sea but not the Conrads beach, and as the balconies are overlooking the small pool and road there must be a window in the back of the rooms.I would take photos when you are there and complain to First Choice if you think you have been ripped off. Ive just remembered when we were there in December they were working on some ground floor sea view rooms next door to the Baron hotel(not the Baron Palms. When we walked past we could see bathroom suites etc piled in the rooms and workmen were in these rooms until late in the evening.Maybe these are the "new premium rooms".
I imagine that Jay is correct in thinking that the new rooms he saw being built will be the ones we will be allocated.
So excited! I go at the end of March with my boyf. You?
and cant wait either.
and like you said im sure we aint got nothing to worry about. if we did then complain while their or when home claim bit money back if needed to.
cheers mind is at rest.
let me no when u return how the rooms are take few pictures if u can i be very pleased if you could
regards lee
Hi, From what we could see 5th Jan this year I tend to agree with Jay Trips comments. There was extensive work going on to the right side of the entrance of the Conrad. Whether these will be the premium rooms I couldnt be certain. I have taken photos of the front of the Conrad they are in the photo gallery.
now would it be safe if say me and partner on lounger and went for swin in sea and left say few notes under our towel or a camera while we go into the sea?
I confess we did leave valuables under our beds while we swam, we were lucky nothing was stolen though.
I really don't think anyone can tell you your belongings will definitely be safe, it depends if there are any dishonest characters in the hotel at the same time as you

i saw loads pics of conrad on trip advisor about 60 pics it looks very nice just want be there now. i take it there is fish etc as u walk into the shallow beach instead of jetty? cheers
Yes, you can see the fish if you walk into the sea, they're all around and it's shallow. You'll get the best view of them by walking along the jetty or swimming/snorkelling from the end of the jetty though. DON'T walk anywhere near the coral!
Can't wait to get my holiday booked for summer '07!
