Hello I have just amended my holiday from KABC today to Pegasus Palace but not sure what these Tom watches are - do you have to pay for them? Am flying from Bristol on 21st August.

Also - read some not altogether brilliant comments about the beach - I have 10 & 8 yr old boys - would really like them to be able to swim in the sea. Can anyone enlighten me - they are quite good swimmers!

I also would like to go in the sea with my children.

Does anyone know if you can swim in this sea and snorkel or do you have to travel to find a suitable beach?

Do we need a visa to go to PP? :omg

not a visa as such, you just have to pay £10.00 sterling per person on entering the country and have your passport stamped.

we stayed at the tropical as a couple, and we found that the pegasus seemed to be mainly aimed at familys,it was alot busyier then the tropical,we did prefer the tropical, all the pools at palace were aimed at kids ,and the tropical was aimed more to adults or older children as the slides were bigger,as for the beach,it slopes really quickly and the tide drags you down,i didnt go in it and not many were going in,it isent safe at all,i saw a parent rescue his son as he had got into difficulties.we did not have tom watches either, infact not many people did, there are food shops selling crisps and snack stuff u can eat during the day ,night,i think you are better of paying euros or sterling for popcorn ect..

Good luck Louise, maybe I'll see you there. We fly out on Monday.

Well I just went and bought a new house last night  not generally the most sensible thing to do three days before you go on holiday.

Note to self to phone the estate agents in the morning to sell mine :omg

Well in 13 hours time I'll finally be a married woman (11 yrs and 2 kids later)!!! Sunday we leave for the airport! Can't wait now!!! After all the hassle with FC, now that we have actually had a good report back, I can't wait to get there! Still a bit concerned about the wavelength club, but we just want to get out there and put all the wedding stresses behind us! See you soon Scottish Mum and everyone else going within the next few days!

from the pictures that candy posted on here it looks like they have cleaned the beach up alot from last year although my kids played on the beach some days anyway, as for the sea i never swam in it but did paddle and it does shelve away quite quickly, my 16yr old did swim in it.

as for the tom watches... idint see anyone with one in oct so maybe they dont use them anymore??

Hı all - agaın sorry about spellıng etc these turkısh keyboards are odd ! Weather today at PP was hot - about 27 degrees - so lots of tıme ın the shade. I wıll try and answer some questıons. Ice creams are avaılable from the snack bar by the beach (kıds call ıt the bıg cheese because ıt has a yellow roof) from 10am to 4pm but sometımes they do run low. Otherwıse they have Walls Ice creams but they have to paıd for wıth the TOM bracelet. Same goes for Ice pops and slush - whıch actually ıs adults only as ıt acts as a cocktaıl base and has vodka ın ıt !

Lots of great pools of the kıds - two have slıdes ın the shape of an elephant. rabbıt or snake and we spend a lot of tıme around them. Kıds club has been great and the food has been really good but on a Frıday no meat ıs served and ıt was all fısh. You should have seen some peoples faces ! Overall ıt has been lovely - I wıll walk back to my room tonıght to the sound of crıckets surrounded by lovely flowers and wıth a drınk ın my hand. What could be better ! Catherıne - cannot waıt to see you. You should be here around 3pm Turkısh tıme on Monday so have a nıce flıght! See you soon. Olıvıa. :D
