I always go across the road to Bells as Zodiqc always seems so quiet.

If its a bit busier this year I may pop across to check it out.

There have been quite a few changes to zodiac this year with a new stage and music etc, so should be livelier than ever before! Give it a try when u next visit and say hi to me!

You are right, Panicos is a legend, have known him for a fair while now, my parents know him v. well too. Are you out there now?

Don't remeber singing that one, maybe it was Natalie who covered my nights off. Did lots of singing on the bar, 'heaven' and loads others! I go back in 10 days, cannot wait!!! Are u back this year?

I'm sure it was a girl that sang the girly bits and then there was a guy who sort of rapped all kinds of stuff the way through along with it, it was brilliant!

Bet you can't wait to get back! I will be 3rd July for 2 weeks and then back again in September

We are all 18, and looking for a good time with clubs, and bars on the agenda we may have to go to ayia napa for livier options

wish i was 18 again, some good bars in protaras but will think you will need agia napa for the clubs, plenty of taxis about most young uns start off in protaras (starts to get quiet about 12.30) then go clubbing and hunting till daylight in napa :wink:

Yeh there are loads of bars down the main strip most open until 2ish. There are only 2 club in Protaras. Boogies and Q Club. Boogies is by far the better of the two and is at the top of the strip near Mc Donalds. It gets really busy at the weekends. You have to pay to get in but there are usually PR's on the street giving out free tickets. It's definitely worth a visit, plays all the latest music and is open till 5. Other than that Napa is only about 15 mins in a taxi and there are loads of places to choose from there, some open till bout 7 in the morn! Hope that helps.

hi keano, yes it was natalie who was compere and she lived about 10 miles from me in chadderton, rochdale. she used to get my wife and daughter up on the bar to "heaven" , "sound of the underground"and "we're going to protarus (ibiza)"we liked the polish waitress who always looked after us and kept me full of boddingtons! wow! the memories are flooding back now!
being a singer of limited range( i can only do about 5 songs!) i was down to 4 as "down in a tubestation at midnight" by the jam wasn't in the system so i was wondering if it might be now? its one of my better ones and i've even managed a "polite ripple " of applause after that one. i know a song about mugging isn't really for summer holidays but at least its in my key lol

I will have a look for that song when i arrive!!! Monika was the Polish waitress. Unfortunately she is not back this summer, but me and Natalie will be back on the bar keeping u entertained. Cu then!

oh yes i remember her name monika now, shame she won't be there this year. still might save some money on tips lol . (i'm a sucker for a pretty face!) my daughter rebecca will love to see natalie again. she used to idolise her!
me and wifey seems to think u will be able to answer a question that we were dying to ask all holiday. i went to ask natalie at one point but came back with a comb (sorry old chemist joke!) there was a lady who came in with her mum(we think) called ali who we thought must be a co owner or have some sort of hold on the zodiac as she always got queue jumped to the next singer. she was good and it didn't cause us a problem at all but we were always wondering why this was. can you enlighten us?

sorry we're a bit nosy! lol

Hi Davetracey! Have done abit of digging for you. Natalie tells me that Ali had been visiting for years and is good friends with Panicos. Thinks that is how she managed to jump the queue. Natalie remembers u well and says hi to u and Rebecca.
