Having never sat in those seats, I can't be sure. However I believe there are shared windows on that row so you'll only have a partial window view. It's due to the routing of wired and air conditioning ducting. If you want a guaranteed full window view, I'd avoid rows 33-35.

Hi all

I have just booked for Sept 11 flying with Virgin from Manchester Orlando and was wondering if anyone knows yet if these flights will be the new A330 aircrafts.

The VS075/6 (MAN-MCO-MAN) is scheduled to be operated by the new A330-300's from 2nd April 2011.

Thanks for that, you have stated that its SFB (sanford) does this mean they are changing airports as the holiday i have booked is to MCO

Despite us saying we would try another airline to get across the pond, Virgin Holidays had a deal that just couldn't be missed hence we're flying Virgin Atlantic again.

Outbound: VS029 26-Nov-2010
Inbound: VS030 03-Dec-2010

Flights are LGW-BGI-LGW

Will this still be the old style 744 or have Virgin put the new style 744's on this route?

Whilst Virgin Atlantic often run one of the LHR B747-400 from LGW to BGI, on the dates you are flying the schedule indicates a "traditional" Gatwick based B747-400 with 14 Upper Class/58 Premium Economy and 379 Economy seats.

The A330's aren't due for delivery commencing 2nd quarter of 2011. It'll be a Boeing 747-400.

It should be the same as their current seat pitch, 31". Seat plans for the new aircraft should be on V-Flyer from about November.

Wow, i would of thought they would of got their economy product on at least the same level as Thomson and Thomas Cook. At least i'll be on a brand new plane and hopefully i'll get fully working IFE for a change!

Hello im travelling vs005/vs006 october 5th/october 20th in premium.

Does anyone know wat aircraft this is, where it comes in from before my flight and the config on the aircraft??

Sorry to ask a million and one questions but does anyone know the reg of the aircraft i will be on and is premium any good??

Finally do you get any airport benefits with premium.

VS 005/6 on those dates operate on a A340-600 aircraft. There are 45 Upper Class seats, 38 Premium Economy seats and 225 Economy seats.

Difficult to tell you where the aircraft is coming from and near impossible to tell you the registration at this stage. Nearer the time someone on here might be able to tell you - try 24hrs before if it is important to know.

Premium is Premium ECONOMY. There is a separate check-in but no other specal airport facilities available to you. On board the cabin is separate from the main Economy cabin, have larger leather covered seats and more leg room. The meal service is upgraded from the main Economy cabin as well.

i'm sure the experts on this forum can clarify this for me. I have been looking at flying virgin from GLA to MCO in sept 2011, the problem is when trying to book the flights there site says they dont operate flights on these dates but when booking a holiday from them for the same dates they seem to offer flights on flight no VS071 :que

is this a code share with the likes of TC of TOM? or am i just being dim

I have found the same problem, you seem to be able to book virgin holidays, including fly drives for next sept/oct 2011 but not just flights for some reason. Can anyone shed some light on this?
