Would revisit Paphos again, probably th the same time of year. Weather was mixed, but warm lots to do and see in the town.
There are a good selection of bars and restaurants and we didnt find Paphos expensive at all.
Beach wasnt much to write home about, but Coral Bay (a short bus ride away) is definitly worth a visit.
Dont think we would go to Cyprus in the summer months as it would be too hot and crowded, but a week in April was perfect! We will return!

Not much going on at this time of the year, We can heartily recommend the Italian restaurant about 150 yds towards the triangle from the Ledra beach hotel - name eludes me , but great food and ambiance, very popular with locals and essential to book at weekends!
Beach fairly poor and quite rocky.
Overall cleanliness satisfactory, but this was low-season.

The resort of Paphos is a wonderfull archealogical area but is not ideal for the family holiday as there are virtually no beaches. The resort on the outskirts is quite un developed as there are few paths and a lot of building works.
There are plenty of bars and restaraunts in the harbour area and all the areas leading away from the harbour so eating out is excellent. You can vary your meals from traditional Greek to dare I say it pizza Hut, KFC and McD's. The UK culture of seaside boy racers is amusing to watch if you have never experienced it before as they parade up and down the harbour roads in their "souped up" VWs and Nissans.
In all the resort if fine but not for a family holiday more of a day out with a hire car from where else you are staying on the island.

Great loads to do. Get the bus on the tombs of the kings road to coral bay, or to the mini golf.
Harbor beautiful and we met the pelican this time. Lots of kid friendly pubs and resturants.

A quiet place, bar street is the only real noisy area and too 18 to 30 for old fogeys like us. Evis Bar would probably have been good but we never tried it, has nightly entertainment. Old town market is worth a look but mostly jewellry and lace mixed with tourist trap junk. Sovos near the market is great for lunch. Harbour area is pretty, with nice shops and cafes. The Moorings was so clean you felt you could eat off the floor, let alone the tables. Not a bad place for a relaxing holiday but don't expect life in the fast lane.

The resort as a whole was nice, My husband and son found a place called Funbuggy Safaris, which was fab,an english run company, great for exploring the beaches and local places, great photos, don't foget your driving licence though. As we moved hotel after one night we found the Elysium hotel great 5* accomadation.we would definetly stay there again.and Fat Mamas restaurant is a lovely place to eat

Paphos is a great base if you want to go site-seeing with loads of historical sites.
The harbour area is pretty. If you are looking for a beach holiday then this is not the best place. The beaches seem to be scattered along the coast of kato paphos and are monopolised by the big hotels.
If you a looking for a beach holiday look for a hotel that is on a sandy beach. The beach behind the Ledra Beach Hotel was the best that we saw.
We stayed all inclusive and so did not sample the restaurants and entertainment in paphos.

The resort of Paphos is like most Med resorts, plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants. Paphos is a perfect family resort, and perhaps not suited to the 18 - 30 brigade, who would peehaps find Ayia Napa to their taste.
The resort was clean, and some people have mentioned the pavements, I spent two weeks pushing a buggy around Paphos and really did not find the pavements an issue. I have worse pavements in Chepstow.
The beach in Paphos is pretty much non existent. SO if you are looking for beach holiday with a golden beach, don't go here. That said, the hotels all have wonderful pool areas, which more than make up for the lack of beach.
All in all this was a wonderful holiday, and I would most definitly visit The Alexander and Paphos again!

It's the quieter side of Paphos so you won't get yobs. There are many bars and restaurants and the local people are fantastic.
