Paphos harbour is a nice place to chill out and eat. Lots of boat trips and we enjoyed a safari jeep excursion to the mountains which you can book at the harbour. Mosaics and Tomb of the Kings well worth a visit if you like historical things. Not the place to go if you want a nice beach. Coral Bay is a nice beach.

A pleasant 20 min walk from harbour, good for buses and taxis but not if you want the bright lights on doorstep. Airport transfer only 20 mins.
Paphos 'new town' situated by harbour actually has a large archeological site next to a pleasant harbour (good fish restaurants). Eat harbour and walk it off on the 'ruins' (amazing mosaics).
Paphos 'old town' (yes it's confusing) back inland a little up hill, has market and local shops. Watch out for Debenhams and Next. Easy bus or car journeys to Coral Bay, the mountains, or Limassol, all worth a visit.

The resort consisted mainly of new Hotels and residential area's. It was clean and very tidy with no litter louts in evidence. The roads were excellent and once we had lost our way around the town a couple of times, we found that it was an easy place to drive in with all roads eventually leading to somewhere you would recognise. We were also only about 15 minutes from Pafos airport. A lot of the beaches were disappointing being a bit stony but where they had been manicured, were very acceptable. Also a lot of the surrounding area appeared neglected with a mixture of scrubland and groves but this did not detract from the pleasures of the resort or the hotel. We didn't have much to do with resort entertainment as we used that in our hotel which was good. A Bulgarian lady came in Mon, Wed and Fri evenings to play the grand piano in the lobby. She was brilliant and captured a good audience with her playing. We could have listened to her all night. Overall, we will be back at this hotel again and hopefully again after that

Paphos is a very clean and very safe place, There is entertainment to suit all tastes all within a small easy accessible area. There is no beach on the promonade, but there is a municipal beach just on the edge of town, not a very good one though. But paphos itself is very picturesque and jam packed with historic sites so it seems a little petty to mention the lack of a decent beach.I should also like to warn visitors that the time share touts have arrived, and gather round the harbour. The old town area where the market and all the main shops are is also a delight to stroll round.

We have stayed in Coral Bay previously which is an excellent area especially for restaurants.
I would highly recommend the Seriani restaurant in Coral Bay, this is one of my favourites, the food is excellent, value for money and the staff are very friendly.
Across from the hotel is a small supermarket and Crazy Spoon restaurant/bar which is good for watching football games.
Also turn to the left out of the hotel and about 2 mins walk takes you to Lucky Genie bar/restaurant, the man that runs this is so funny and everyone seems to warm to him. Buses are cheap at 80 cent and bus stops are right outside hotel, so is easy to get to both Coral Bay and Paphos.

We like Paphos the locals are friendly and polite, apart for the Time share people they are a pain.
Didn't see much entertainment due to our location.
Yes we would go back to Paphos again.

We love Paphos.
There are hundreds of fantastic places to eat, our top three:
1. Daytime, Laona's in Votsis st (town centre) Cypriot food at it's best, Chris the owner will make you feel like one of the family.
2. Flambe Restaurant, on Bar St, a must is any flambe dish
3. Zaffron's, on Tomb of The Kings Rd, very contempory, the food is to die for and the service 1st class.
We recomend this resort and will be back soon.

Paphos itself is very clean although there is a lot of building work going on in the town.
When we went it was still early in the year so entertainment was pretty low key although there were a fair few bars open playing a mix of music. Bar Street especially is a good night out with a variety of cocktail, kareoke and music bars.
There isn't a beach as such to speak of in Paphos or Coral Bay and we sunbathed mainly on our balcony. You can drive to Aphrodites Baths in under an hour and the Akamas National Reserve.

I have been to this resort before, but not for about 12 years. The resort is very clean, there was some litter on the beach, but on the whole it was very good. The streets and pavements are clean, but the pavements are often pot holed and uneven so you can trip up.
There is a huge amount of places to eat and drink and shop, we found several really good places to eat just five minutes down the road from our hotel, and one had really good entertainment most evenings.
Our hotel had its own beach, and this was clean, but the coastline is rocky, so its is not really very good for swimming, the water is very clear, and there were notices up declaring the area safe, as it had a blue flag award.
