Most rooms have pool views.
Visit Taverna Odas in the old town and The House on the main strip is brilliant for any time of the day.

The best rooms to stay are typically the ones that are located nearer the strip. Like Nefeli for example. It was 2 minutes from the night life but when you wanted to recover it was also out of the way, sharing a personal swimming pool with neighbouring ho

Make sure you buy or have air conditioning when you go.
A lot of great places and bars to visit within 15mins walking distance. Gets very hot alot of people tend to hire quad bikes to get around.

Malia is a fun filled place with loads to do! The beach is lovely and you will be assured to get a sun lounger for a small fee.
I find Malia very Lively I don't think it would be a place for a young family to go to because it is so lively at night time, but for us it was fantastic.
I would definitely visit Malia again in the near future!!

Being 44 the strip aint really the place for us, food very much of a muchness. Had to hire car in second week to see us through, allowed us to visit places like Agios Nikolaos.
Had good time, would recommend it for a week and no more.

The resort was very dirty and there was always rubbish in the streets, most of the bars and clubs were great with great offers although they all closed one night when we were there, the beach was nice but very crowded.
I dont think that I will be visiting Malia again in a hurry.

Clubs are awesome and food is brilliant. I would recommend this holiday to anyone between 18-30 and want nightlife. There are school discos, foam parties the lot. Even all you can drink for £3 ie 5euros. Its a must go especially if your on tour!!

Malia is a great place to go and is very lively and caters more to the young people who like to party but from the hotel we stayed in was too far to walk to the beach so we had to get taxis.but over allit was a great resort to visit.

The streets honestly get disgusting but in the morning you wouldn't have a clue what went on the night before....I never saw them but apperantly theres just this mob of cleaners which get to work.
Entertainment...I've no words to describe how brilliant it is. The atmosphere, the music the drink deals all spot on!!
Beach is very clean, plays good music, haggle your sun loungers though....

Malia is the 24 hour party capital of the world. The parties are unreal and the nightlife is out of this world. Definately a place to recommend to young people!
There are plenty of amazing bars and clubs, to start the night off you should go to Newcastle Bar, where its 4 drinks of spirits or whatever for 5 Euros, a bargain! Other cheap places to drink are Ice Bar and The Loft.
The beach is quite small and we never spent much time there beacuse it was always crowded.
We would definately visit Malia again, it was the best 2 weeks of our lives!

Plenty going on in Stalis but a lot quieter than Malia thank goodness! It was manic there and nightlife was really only suitable if you were in your 20's - stay away if you want some peace and quiet!!
Plenty of places to eat and drink but would prefer more traditional Greek restaurants - too much catering for the English palate. A few more traditional places could be found when you turn left out of the hotel where it is quieter. Also good pizza take away just across from the hotel to sneak back to your room!
Private beach with the hotel was nice, better than trying to get a space further up into town which seemed crowded.
Take a visit over to Santorini on a Flying Cat - very pretty.

The resort was fairly clean baring in mind everyone was breaking glasses, dropping drinks etc every 5 minutes. The bars in Malia were amazing, there are a huge amount and have loads of different styles of music so you can pick to suit you.
Lots of different events to go on eg a booze cruise, set up by the holidaymakers, and out rep was a legend, think his name was Chris? can't remember.
The beach is nice but really small for the amount of beds they put there and the music playing is too loud to nurse a hangover, and when you want to relax.
I would definitely come back to Malia it was the best week of my life! Met loads of people and had an amazing time!
