The beach is great, you pay fr sunbeds, about 4-6 euros and the bars serve you on the beach. Good service and good location.

This was our 4th visit to stalis in 13 months, we met lots of friendly people on our last visits so we made sure we stopped for a drink or chat with them again, everybody in stalis made us feel welcome.
Because we range in ages in our group gran, mum and daughter we found Stalis ideal for all age groups .
We found the beaches good with plenty of sunbeds to hire but its worth shopping around prices can vary!
The resort caters for all tastes foodwise although we prefer the traditional Greek resturants.

This was our first visit to Stalis, we found it to be a great place for a beach holiday, the beaches were sandy and very clean, we had a good beach service (all day) for food and drink (brought to your sunbed). There was all the usual facilities jetskies etc.The beaches in June were uncrowded, with plenty of sunbeds available. Stalis has a good selection of bars and restaurants to suit all ages and plenty of shops - for a bit of retail therapy. A road train ran along the coast, giving you a snapshot of neighbouring resorts.

we were at the malia end of stalis but it was very clean, in fact took us ages to find a bin & any we did find were not overflowing & no rubbish lying about the street either.
Quite a few english named pubs, white horse, rovers return and accross the road from the hotel, rose & crown which served english food. We went to a place to the left of the hotel approx 200 yards up the road called MAMBOS it serves excellent omlettes, baked potatoes, full breakfasts & has a steak night on saturdays with all the trimms for for 9.75 euros, its run by a french girl & her scottish husband & 2 english waitresses & they are very nice. In the main part of stalis it is a bit busier with rests & bars & nightclubs & we tended to walk in & people watch for a bit & then stroll back down as it got a bit cramped as there are a lot of quads, mopeds & the locals with their cars.
Beach excellent, couldn't fault it, some days bigger waves but your could walk out for a bit before it started to deepen.
would definately vist the resort and this hotel again.

Stalis is the most wonderful place to holiday for young and old alike. Fantastic beach, great restaurants but most of all wonderful people. Been to Stalis 17 times now and never tire of it. The Creta restaurant has the best food and the setting is beautiful. Just going to book again for next year!

The beach is fantastic with a very shallow sea which is safe for children.their are lots of water sports and sunbeds readily available and its cleanliness is superb.
There are lots of places to eat and it has a very warm atmosphere wherever you go.

The resort is great for families. There is a nice Greek feel to it. There are lots of shops, bars and resaurants. The resort is mainly set out on one long road on the sea front.
The beach is exellent, very clean and sandy loads of sunbeds and shades if you want them ranging from around 4 euros for 2 sunbeds and a shade for the day. There are plenty of water sports, jet skies to hire, banana boats etc.
There are lots of reasonably priced beach bars for lunch time sandwiches and drinks etc.

There are quite a few good restaurents in Stalis try Maria's with the plate smashing. Tthis was really good value.
The beach was very clean and the sea was clear.
We would definately visit Panorama studios and Stalis again

I don't remember having any complaints about the cleanliness of the resort. There wasn't lots of litter around and the streets were clean.
The resort mainly had restaurants, bars and a couple of nightclubs, ok for the older ones around but a bit short for the children.
The beach was clean but very busy. If you want it a bit quieter stay away from the centre and find the smaller strips of beach. Beware the rocks under the sand though.
We enjoyed our time there but would not visit the resort again.

Stalis is a lovely resort with plenty to do loads of shops bars and places to eat,Stalis seemed to be more suited to families i thought but if you want nightlife Malia is your place which the next resort to Stalis.
Beaches are very nice with plenty of sunbeds to hire.
Our advice would be to get a car and have a good look round the island,places like Elounda and Sissi are to good to miss.
