a lovely quiet resort apart from the aeroplanes passing but we enjoyed whatching them so not a problem.there are some nice places too eat we enjoyed the italian and paris.would go back yet again i dont think we will tire off it

Kalamaki is a good resort with something for all tastes. It has changed over the years from a sleepy village into a typical modern resort. Maybe there is too much neon and karaoke but you can always find something to suit your tastes, our favourites are Cronulla, the Venus Hotel Terrace, mustangs, Iguana and the cave bar . The restaurants are plentiful and we love Buon Amici, Paolos, Paris and Dias. Prices are very reasonable throughout the resort. There are enough shops/supermarkets and cash machines with good shopping in zante town. Car hire is easy to arrange and we love the service given at Merlis. We don't use the beach that much but if we go in late season then its lovely to walk down the beach to lagana for a coffee and wander back on the waters edge.

kalamaki is such a beautiful place plently of bars and resturant you have to go to the p and p bar lovely owner! all beaches in zante are lovely.

Resort was very good staff were very friendl in the pool bar, supermarket, restuarant and front bar. We had a good laugh with them and really enjoyed our holiday. Would definately go back in a few years, I'm not saying a few years because we didn't like just because we want to see other places.

Its a very quiet resort,although you can see the airport in the distance you really dont notice the noise(in fact i quite enjoy sitting on the balcony with a coffee watching the planes taking off).The beach is 10-15 minutes walk away

The resort is ideal for airport transfer only minutes away but no noise from planes.
Beach beautiful. Many resturants but as usual all same menus. Not many bars. Wwe stayed for 2 weeks the cave bar was not open our 1st week but it did open our 2nd week glad we went as it is beautiful and the staff very friendly well worth a visit.

The resort itself was clean, plenty of resteraunts but not much in entertainment going on.
The beach was clean but because of the turtles it wasnt as clean as British beaches. No watersports at all here because of the turtles, but they could be found elsewhere on the island.

I think it is a clean well mainained resort, as for entertanment there is a variety of everything you will find what your looking for!! We did!!
The beach is lovely and I felt safe letting my children play in and out the gentley shelving sea.

Lovely Beach.
Can walk along resort main road and not get hassled.

Kalamki was fine for a quiet and safe family holiday. Very close to the airport and you felt as if the planes were going to land on the hotel but no night flights so not really a problem. You could walk to Laganas along the beach about half an hour's walk. I felt very relaxed after my holiday there.
