This resort was immaculate, ther was no entertainment in the hotel, this was not a problem as the location is so good (close to beach and town centre).beach is clean and plenty of beach bars and restaraunts

The resort is ideal, most things are central and the beach is not too far away. It has a busy side and a quiet side so there is plenty to suit everyone. Loads of restaurants and bars on the door step, St Anthonys Tea Gardens across from the church serves fabulous snacks.

My 6th year in Goa, it is becoming more & more expensive each time & is getting quite commercialised. This year it seemed a lot dirtier on the streets and the beaches. Still a wonderfull place to visit but is losing a lot of its charm that brings people back year after year.

Calangute is NUTS! but we love it. Calangute is dirty, scruffy but we have never felt so at home anywhere else in the world because of the people. Your have to see through the grubbiness. I think it helped because my 11 year old daughter was with us and the Indians love white children. Everyone was so hospitable and some fantastic restaurants and beach shacks to eat in. Planet Goa, Redonda, Big Banana, Boscoes, East meets West, Pescardo's to name but a few, missing it all already, can't wait to go back. Don't forget the Honeybee!!

Expected this resort to be much dirtier than it was. Thought the beach was very nice and cant wait to go again. Had great fun with beach sellers, found them very entertaining, although we did get ripped off slightly.

Calangute has something for every one, lots of bars and restaurants and more beach shacks than you can shake a stick at. We preferred Boscos which is more Baga than Calangute, a bit more expensive but the food and service was worth it. The Red Lion is a good spot for watching the world go by.

the resort looked like it was being updated as building pavements everywere unless that was rebuilding them plenty of shops for leather and t shirts. plenty of quality restaraunts recomend caso seashell, after 7, east meets west, amigo's the not so well known names was excellent as they loved your custom really looked after you and the food was excellent.
power cuts a few times and eating in candle light very romantic kept the mossies away unless you was walking down the road
