Location
In a very good location,it was always very busy, seemed to be lots of younger ones in the hotel, which wasn't a problem.
Rooms could do with a makeover ! And air con which was very much needed !! It was far too hot. Rooms were cleaned every other day and towels and beds changed, don't know why others wernt in the same block, very strange.
There wasn't any sunbeds in any of the pools spare until around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, which got annoying when you saw towels on sunbeds which were there all morning and afternoon with no one on them !
It was a very enjoyable holiday and I can't really fault bellevue apart from the air con problem.
Would go back again.

This year has been our 6th time going and it gets better every year. We stayed in the Minerva II for the 4th year running, stayed in the Minerva I before that. Have to say I can't complain about one thing about them. Very clean as usual when we arrived at 12.30am and the rooms were cleaned every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and also given clean sheets and towels every one of those days..... as always, However we only get our sheets changed 1 a week as we feel there's no point all the time, get the towles changed every second time also, however that was our choice. Also sometimes if we didn't get to the door in time because we had been sleeping the cleaners would see this and just skip us.
Also the complex itself is cleaned every evening. I saw 3 women going round picking up any rubbish and they had a bin with them. Also the bin lorries come round at about 3am in the morning and they are very quick and I have to say quiet at doing their job.
As we were self catering we ate out about 3 nights a week, the rest we made our own food in the apartment, as we always do. Yummy Yummy's is a nice place to go to and is just across the road next to the supermarket. There are also two other restaurants to the left of the complex and are very good. I would recommend them esp the first one on the left, just beside the car rental place. However we did venture into the other one across the road just on the corner and I wouldn't recommend it for a meal, however the pizza is nice. The food is very over priced and you don't get very much of it. For a chicken curry and a bowl of tomato soup it was 17 euro, where as in the other 3 restaurants you were getting a 3 course meal for 7.50 euros.
The location is just perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the main reception and gate, and that is with 2 double prams and 2 singles, and 3 other kids alongside. The beach is about a 15-20 minute walk however there is a boat provided on site that takes you across and back the lake for 3 euros which is much better when you have blow-up rings, boats, prams etc.
The staff were very polite and helpful, one of the children were in hospital for 3 days with gasteroinoritis (sp) and the staff were more than helpful. The were a few other children in hospital for the same thing but this had nothing to do with the apartments, it is common at that time of the year and also I would recommend NOT taking ice cubes in your drink in the bars outside the complex as this is apparently one on the contributors to this.
The entertainment was as always excellent, Westlive and others on Sundays, Disney show every second Tuesday whiich is a must for the kids, Robbie Williams every Thursday. Also there was a Grease tribute show which, the same as the Disney show is performed by the entertainers on the complex. Also had The Jackson 5, the Beatles and others too many to mention. Over all the entertainment is excellent at the show garden, with the kiddies disco starting at about 8pm. There is also a chance to play bingo every night which is a lot of fun. 9 euros for 6 cards.
It was hotter than usual this year and we did need to buy some fans but this was only for the younger children at night as we were hardly in the rooms only for nap time and bed time, and at siesta we kept the door open and a nice we breeze came through.
We did have some problems with the mozzies also but nothing that a repellent couldn't fix, and it was mostly the 3 men who had the problems. The children weren't affected at all.
I would recommend this complex to anyone and have done so in the past and haven't had a complaint yet.

We spent our time at sirena pool (really friendly bar girls) this was where we got the free drinks (lots of free drinks!!! Try slush and vodka it's great)it was so nice that kids had as much slush and coke that they wanted all day without the worry of spending loads of money.
Apartment was clean and spacious with kitchen that had microwave, fridge, kettle and hobs, brill to make children some brekky if they don't get up in time for restaurant food (my two like their lie ins ).
No trouble with ants.
Had sheets and towels changed regular. No air con is a bit of a killer at night but we knew about this before we went so just make sure you get fan ...or two.
Bellevue is a huge complex but not as huge as some people make out. The walk from our apartment to the main bit was 2mins if that, this was where the restaurant, bars, show garden, shop etc were situated.
I loved the fact how it was spread out, you never felt it was over crowded even though complex fully booked. Lots of grassy areas around the pools with trees for those who like to chill in the shade.
Yes, it was almost impossible to get a sunbed(unless you were awake at 7am ) but we were quite happy putting our towels on the grass.
Food was lovely lots of choice although in the second week we did feel the need to eat out just for a change. My lads did get bit bored of chips and pasta as they are not very adventurous when trying new foods.
Entertainment very good although people seemed more excited at "putting their hands up in the air" at bingo than at clapping some of the brilliant tribute acts ( Abba and Beatles excellent oh and westlife is great for the teenage girls).
Moroccan bar seemed the hang out place for all the "getting drunk because they can" teenagers but we were all young once and there never seemed to be any trouble just high spirits.
Couldn't fault staff all very helpful. As I said before Spanish girls at sirena pool bar lovely and one day when my son cut his toe by the pool, Alex, the lifeguard, was straight over to help him.
As for mossies we didn't see any swarms and only got bit couple of times, just take repellent and you should be fine.
If it wasn't for lack of air con we'd certainly go to Bellevue back again.
Quick tip if you visit Aqualand at El Arenal don't get conned into thinking you need to rent floats, there are ones at the rides and if you don't mind a little wait you'll save yourself some money.
Great water park to visit though worth the 1 hour journey as loads more slides than at the one in Alcudia. Another great experience is the bull fight at old town Alcudia.
Next one is Aug 15th and well worth going to see a bit of true Spanish culture( so my lads and partner told me, I couldn't bear to see it!!!!)

Never ever again. Woken every night at 2am by dustman followed by road sweeper followed by water sprinklers. sleep is impossible.
Lifts impossible we had to climb 6 flights with cases at 3am not funny.
Cleanliness what is that I got so fed up I cleaned the apartment myself. Ants in the kitchen all the time. After 10days we had to ask for clean sheets.
Be prepared to put up with kids ringing your bell and running off.
Not a chance of a sunbed, lifeguard spends his day on mobile texing. Dont expect clean towels unless you ask for them.
Dont waste your money. We have been going abroad for 17years and never have we come across anything like this.

Arrived at 1am in the morning and the people n the desk were very welcoming and helpful. We were lucky to get 2 rooms next to each other, as last year we didn't but it doesn't really matter as you're never really in the room at all.
As far as I can gather Direct Holidays have rooms booked in the Minerva I and II as we have only stayed in these blocks.
Anyway rooms as usual were very clean, and they were cleaned every second day, and given clean towels and sheets aswell as the apartments being mopped and brushed out and the bin emptied. Cleaners also very nice. Always have a smile on their face. Also the complex itself was very clean, binmen came round every night between 2am and 5am and were very quick... didn't make too much noise. which is more than I can say about the binmen here at home. Also as someone else on here mentioned I also saw ladies walking around the complex picking up any rubbish that may have been lying around.
Apart from one night we didn't eat on site but the one night we did it was a very nice meal, although not very much of it. The spaghetti looked like a starter. Although when we went to the pool during the day we usually got something to eat from the pool bar at the Minerva I pool and have to say the food there is excellent. I even managed to get my son to eat a burger with his chips which he refused to do before!
The location itself is excellent, very close to the shops and supermarkets only a 2 minute walk to the main gate. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away..... but that may be shorter if you don't have prams etc with you, but the Bellevue provide a small boat service across the lake to the beach for on;y 3 euro return. Very handy with buggies etc. And when you get to the beach you have a nice quite spot where it isn't too crowded, which was perfect for us. Also very close to the beach bar/cafe which serve lovely burgers, hotdogs and chips.
The staff were very helpful, my friends wee boy had to go to hospital with dehydration (at no fault of the Bellevue) and the staff were very helpful and caring. They informed us that instead of getting a taxi they actually had a car that took the family to the hospital and back, which saved some money although it only costs 7 euros to the hospital.
The entertainment was excellent, we never went outside the complex at night- except to go shopping- as everything we needed was onsite. The show Garden is brilliant. The shows are excellent and the children loved the Mini disco and the Disney Show aswell as The Robbie Williams and Westlive tribute acts.
During the day the two oldest went to the kids club and loved every minute of it, it was a struggle to get them out of it.
At the swimming pool it was very hard to get a sunbed but when you have so many young children with you that isn't a priority. We were happy enough to sit on th egrass, it meant we were able to bring the buggies down with us and the children had enough room to play.
The only thing we had a problem with was the heat but we went out and bought 2 fans for 10 euros each and that was that. We were only in the apartment for at the most 2 hours in the evening and at night so it didn't bother us. If you don't want to buy fans you can rent them from the reception for 32 euros a week and you get 10 euros back, or do what we normally do and leave the front door open a bit and you get a nice breeze through the apartment.
As I have before and always will do, I would reccommend this complex to anyone and will be going back to the Bellevue again, we are atually looking to buy an apartment in the complex between us all.

On arrival we were allocated Fedra 1 which seemed like miles away when struggling with cases but once we found the short cuts it was about 5 minutes walk from entrance.
Apartments were basic but I found them clean. Got bed by pool most days but if not there was always a bed at other pools.
Entertainment was excellent but if not to your taste there was always something going on just outside the complex. Would have been perfect only for no a/c the fans were just not enough at that time of year.
One bit of advice for anyone going bring plenty of insect repellant as the show garden is full of mosquitoes.

Thought the hotel entertainment was good considering we went 5 star all inclusive to Cuba in August and their entertainment in the evenings was terrible. Lots at this complex for the children to do although the pool for our block was one of the smallest oh yes and we didn't have any parasols around the pools except in the first block which I think was Leda 1 which along with the Minerva blocks looked like the best ones to be in so ask to be moved and my daughter also spent a week on a the sofa (which i think they assume is a bed).
All in all enjoyed the week but don't think we will be going back, be careful if your going in the summer as there's no air conditioning and the rooms get really hot.

We originally booked self catering but upgraded to half board when we arrived, the food was bog standard buffet....not spectacular, but perfectly acceptable.
Breakfast was good, dinner had quite a lot of choice. The only problem we had was that a load of Spanish students were staying at the same time and at 8.00pm every night descended on the restaurant like a plague of locusts and made it impossible to get any food (we later found out that there were 300 hundred of the buggers...really rowdy and particularly ill-mannered) we duly complained and were instantly transferred to another restaurant which actually was much better.
The complex was as we remembered it from our previous visit 5 years ago, plenty to occupy the kids, and shows on every night (with possibly the worst Robbie Williams tribute your poor ears will ever experience. We were told on the phone by the hotel and hotetur, that the all inclusive option was quite limiting and did not cover the show garden, but we found when we arrived that it was much more comprehensive that that and there was actually an all-inclusive drinks bar IN the show garden.(although the queues were quite large).
All in all we had a great time and would recommend anyone with kids to stay here and definitely would consider a third visit....don't be put off by the bad reviews you read on this site, the staff were very helpful, if we needed extra towels etc, they were delivered within 20 mins, and on our arrival they insisted that they take us to our accommodation by van and drop us off!
At the end of the day if you want 5 star treatment pay for it and go to a 5 star hotel, for what we paid for this holiday we certainly got value for money.
The resort itself is also ideal for families, plenty of nice bars and value for money restaurants with things for the kids to do, the beach is really nice too, although I would recommend you take the boat from the complex to the beach...you still have a little walk when you get off, but the part of the beach you end up at is much quieter with plenty of sunbeds, and a lovely shallow part of the sea for the kids.
Also on the question of late check out, we didn't need it ourselves but spoke to a couple who had asked and were given prices for it subject to availability, the were unfortunately told on the day that they were fully booked and nothing was available, which i can quite believe as even though it was early June it was still quite busy (without being crowded).
And there don't seem to be many mozzies about either, hardly saw one in the show garden in contrast to last time we were there when there were swarms!

Booked through Findmeaccom.com no problems at check in but there were quite a few people on package holidays who had to be moved to other hotels due to overbooking.
Stayed in Minerva 1, room was clean and spacious but no air-conditioning, maid service was 3 times a week (sheets once a week).
Friends of ours were also there and they stayed in Sirena and Neptuno which were both in a nice spot by the lake and rooms were spacious for a studio. I think the only block to avoid would be the Minerva 2 which were all studios and backed onto the busy road.
Resort and beach were good for families but as this was our 3rd time to Alcudia we will not be returning for a while but would recommend the Bellevue.
