Arrived on Tuesday 31st May at another hotel, we were moved to Bellvue on Tuesday 1st June. We were greeted in reception by loads of dog mess, where that came from i dont know. Given Diana 1. Room big enough, the kettle did not work, lights hanging off in the bedroom, beds smelt musty and generally uncomfortable, generally grotty. The noise was terrible from adjoining rooms, heard everything. Even though we were all inclusive bar wasn't open and never had a bite or drink at Bellvue. Locations not too bad, its a long walk though. We were due to fly home on Tuesady 6th June, flew home 2 days after arriving. Had to pay another airline to fly home, was totally disgusted at the whole experience.

This was out third stay at the Bellevue but this time the maid service was diabolical.

The bedding was never changed and only once out of the seven days did the maid come in and do anything in the apartment. One day she just handed in the towels, never even bothered to remove the dirty ones. We won't be going back there again.

The fact that the weather was rubbish too, only 2 good days out of 6, didn't help matters, but c'est la vie.

You can't win them all. What a good job the night time entertainment was brill.

Restaurants were all pretty good, some cheaper than others and the pancakes just have to be sampled from the pancake man.

If you want a nice friendly bar to drink in then try Einsteins, on the left over the bridge. It's not long been opened and the owner Andy will bend over backwards to please his customers. He makes some unusual cocktails and makes a mean cup of milky coffee, the closet you will get to a latte. He caters for all types of customers, the football fanatics, the soap followers and the party goers, check out his music, puts you in the mood for a good old dance.

His prices are good too, so well worth a try.

We stayed in the Leda 3 block which was very clean and tidy, maid service was very good also. The apartment and pool area were excellent although the on site cafeteria left alot to be desired as no one ever seemed to want to serve us, we only went to one entertainment night which was a tribute to disney.

The kids 3 year old and 5 year old couldn't believe how Minnie Mouse could be 2 feet taller than Mickey as they had seen them both in Florida at christmas and remarked how much they had changed.

They soon grew bored with the show and so subsequently wouldn't go to any others, this meant that we frequented 'cheers' and linekers on an evening which became monotonous after a while.

We have decided that we will give Alcudia a miss for the foreseeable future as we found ourselves comparing it to blackpool but with sun.

All the same type of shops selling all the same stuff, the menus's at all of the restaurants was basically the same and again this grew monotonous.

Good points were the kids club on site run by the travel company which both kids who attended thoroughly enjoyed going too.

We arrived at 1.30 in the morning and showed to our block by some security guard the company had a wierd name.

We had 2 appartments next to one another in minerva 2(although next to the road you never realised it). Only one entrance in or out. I got a bit sick of that and ended up climbing the fence. Be careful lads there is spikes.

The feeding area was quite a walk but the food was just ok. The bars at the pools open at 10 and close at 6. The moroco bar open 12 till 12.

Being all inclusive my band was a bit tight, on going home I got ridiculed about my tan and the nice white strip where it had been.

It was hot hot hot!

The hotel was very clean and the grounds were well kept.

The food wasn't brilliant. For kids only chips were available if you went to dine before 8pm.

Location was good with a good selection of bars and restaurants and also loads of places to hire cars or
bikes.

We encountered a problem with our room as it was minus a bed for one of our children but this was recified quickly.

Entertainment was in the style of a holiday camp with childrens activities throughout the day.

Would go again but only on self catering basis.

We stayed in Minerva 2 on the 5th floor room 506. Our daughter spent 10 days sleeping on a settee.

We stayed in Minerva 1 and had a large apartment which was great as my partner likes to get up early in the morning and it meant he could leave me in peace in the bedroom.

Maid service was good, the pool at Minerva 1 was really clean, food was ok if you like pork every night.

All the facilities were very good and like other reviewers said the supermarkets outside are cheaper for everything.

We found the hotel very good and as mentioned very clean. the maid service was excellent. The entertainment was great and catered for all ages very good audience participation.

There is a small fun fair for younger children which is good and the bars are also very updated and great sounds.

The pool is very clean and hosts events for the children and is well adverised with lots of sunbeds and lilos, rings etc for the children of all ages. We were in Minerva 1 but the hotel has numerous blocks which are all great.

It also has a left luggage place which is very secure and we felt safe leaving our cases in there while waiting for our coach.

The Piccadilly bar was great Kareoke till 3am very good for families of all ages and the staff are great.
Loads of shops, bars and restaraunts of all types to cater for all your needs.

We hired a pedal car for five of us it was great fun we even drove it down to the beach and parked up and locked it up to a bin on the side of the road. This was a practice run for us to drive on the opposite side of the road befor hiring a car, which was also very cheap with a small deposit. This enabled us to travel about a lot easier. There is a market which goes from town to town through out the week which is very large and good.

Bus Service is very easy and accessable from outside the main reception we just had fun and would return again. I'ts a 10 min walk from the Jupiter Saturno where there is a cheap supermarket which we found very helpful, plus other bars and restaraunts.

We rate this hotel as a 4 Star although its only a 3 star.

Do not believe bad reviews. A holiday is what you make it. We stayed in Luna 2.

Bedding and sheets changed every other day and rooms cleaned. Reception staff were very helpful.

We overlooked a busy road there was noise, but with the amount we did during the day, the amount of noise did not bother us.

The entertainment was excellent.

The beach was very clean.

The entertainment staff were excellent, with both adults and kids I had 3 with me aged 13, 14 & 15.

The site is near lots of bars, shops and restaurants, try Bananas excellent value and great food, the staff were lovely.

You cannot reserve your sunbeds which is a good thing! Lots to do on this site.

Spar is very pricey try the supermarket across the road.

One bad thing, our electrics need did go off a few times but we put that down to a tropical storm. They went off once when there was not a storm, I rang reception & someone came to our apartment within 15mins.
