This is our second time at the Bellvue we were in Fedra 3 last time and think we got the best block in the Appollo although pool was tiny.
We went on a cheap holiday and this best describes the Bellvue it has gone downhill since I last went in 2003
it needs a major revamp.

Upon our arrival we were given a map of the site and the bars, pools and restaurant we were to use were circled on them. Upon looking out from our balcony, which was on the top floor, we could see two pools in the Leda complex. These hadn't been circled on our map but it obviously made sense to use these instead of walking a distance away to the supposedly allocated pools. At that point we didn't know that the pool bar at the Leda complex was all inclusive as again it hadn't been circled on our map but we found that out in the first couple of days.
From our first visit to the Restaurant (School canteen!!) the following faults were found:
1) Massive queues for your food regardless of the time you went in. At one point I counted 37 people in front of me.
2) Because of the queues at no time as a family did you all eat together, especially if you had to queue for your child first and then go back and queue again for yourself.
3) The food was of very poor quality and was cold/lukewarm. There was no experienced chef working and the food was intermittently undercooked.
4) Because of the amount of people trying to eat in the Restaurant you were lucky to get a table and it was so loud you couldn't enjoy your meal if you eventually got one and it was edible.
Overall we gave up very quicly and ate out for 12 out of 14 nights as did a lot of other people. We also skipped breakfast and so put ourselves just through one meal a day at lunchtime and this was because we would have starved by the evening if not.
All Inclusive drinks were again awful. The fact that buying customers were allowed to have theirs in a glass and enjoy a pint the all-inclusives had to queue at one bar for a plastic tumbler of what was supposed to be local beer/spirits. There were a number of other bars for "paying" customers who did not have to queue. Had we not already paid for the food and drinks as all-inclusive?!! Again we ended up paying for drinks. All inc guests certainly appeared to be the por relations.
Worse was to come when we happened to speak to someone by our pool at Leda 1 the day before our holiday was to finish. They had booked half board and were staying in the Leda 2, the same complex as ours. They had been told on arrival that the restaurant they were to use was in the Leda building which we didn't even know about. They stated how good the food was, the choice and no queue.
Following this we spoke to the Manager who admitted that the Leda buildings were allocated to German tour operators and were only filled with British tourists if their allocation had not been fulfilled. We asked why we had not been allowed to use that Restaurant and we were told that we should have been allowed. Therefore for the last day only we were allowed to use this other Restaurant. It was fantastic! Three chefs cooked fresh food to your requirements. There was more choice, no queue and a far better standard of dining. Talk about a 2-tier system. It appeared to us that the German tour operators expect a far higher standard than ours. This became apparent when we were told the Leda complex was just for the German tour operator. It is totally fenced off from the rest of the Bellevue complex and is the only pool to have umbrellas for shade on the whole site.
We are putting in a complaint as we speak with regards to the way we have been treated and for the extra huge amount of money we have had to spend to eat and drink, but don't hold out much hope.
Overall the complex is in a good area and the entertainment is fantastic. The staff are accommodating but the cleanliness needs to be upgraded as does the pool areas. It was very hot as their is no air conditioning as people have mentioned previously in these reports. It's worth noting that we bought two fans that were better than the ones hired from Reception for a lot less cost. You can get these from a DIY shop in Aludia that sell them for 17 euros, well worth the money.
The strip outside the complex is very busy and quite a few good restaurants / bars.

On my second holiday to majorca this year - I was very dissapointed staying in the bellevue. We were staying in 2 bedroom apartment, which on first impression looked good. By the end of the week stay, we felt the need to complain to the reps, something I have never had to do on any holiday I have been on.
We had continuous ants, had an awaful smell from the kitchen sink, floors were dirty and to top it off, we had to put up with continuous German entertainment just across from our apartment. We were never able to use the pool outside our apartment as people must have got up during the night to place towels on the sunloungers!
My daughter did go to the kids club a couple of times but I had to bring her home one morning in tears as not enough children had turned up. I mean try explaining that to a tearful 5 year old!!! The girls said that can sometimes happen in the morning clubs. Well a warning would have been nice.

We specified that the we needed to be on the first floor, due to the inconvenience of a young baby in a pram needing to be lugged up and down the stairs. Because of the lack of cooking facilities in the fold away "kitchen" we decided to resort to all inclusive, BIG MISTAKE.
The food was simply inedible. We ended up having to eat out every night. The evening entertainment was excellent but we feel that we have wasted too much money just to be entertained.

Our daughter spent the week sleeping on a sofa, during which time bedlinen was not changed, towels once and the room cleaned twice (we think, didn't look any different as to how we left it).
Due to a booking error we were refused entry to breakfast on the first morning, however on sampling food glad we were not all inclusive-evening meals were unimaginative and lukewarm.
On the positive side, evening entertainment brilliant-ABBA tribute band absolutely fantastic, pools clean (get there for 0700 if you want a sunbed), and lots for kids to do.
Be aware of refuse collection and sprinklers between 0300-0400, not conducive to a decent night's sleep.
Overall blocks need a good upgrade and some air conditioning.

The rooms were fine.
The complex was well kept but the running of the place isn't very good. There are eight blocks, eight pools but only two all inclusive so if you are going all inclusive you might be allocated a room away from the facilities. some blocks (like ours!!!) back on to the main road full of bars, arcades and these will keep you up all night. Not all blocks do but be aware of this.
Food typical all inclusive some nice some rubbish! All inclusive drinks average.
Entertainment good.
I wouldn't stay here again as it was too loud and a pain having to make your way to a totally different pool away from your block! If you want noise, basic food and a good location fine but I think there are better places to stay!

The room was dirty, bed linen was only changed once in 2 weeks, I had to find a maid to ask for fresh towels, the biggest problem was ants, the kitchen was over run with them, and when I mentioned it to the reception I was given a can of ant killer to deal with myself the 2nd week I opened the wardrobe door and my clothes were crawling with ants.
Entertainment was very good with tribute bands on every night, pools very clean, but you need to be up before 8am to get a sun lounger.

First impressions, well, we were a bit gutted at the size of the room (studio). It was not big enough to accommodate 3 adults, never mind 2 adults and 1 toddler. However, we just got on with it, as the majority of the time, we just slept there. We were also situated on the 6th floor so could never relax with our 3 yr old wandering around!
Our room was spotless on arrival and the maids did come 2-3 times each week, however, I don't think they believe in dusting as the wooden furniture/shelves were never cleaned and the dust under the beds was pretty disgusting. Bed linen was changed once a week.
With regard to the towels, there was a wee notice in the bathrooms saying if you wanted your towels changed, to put them in the bath, otherwise, the maids wouldn't change.
Our balcony overlooked the main street - we didn't find it too noisy. We did find it a bit of a pain though that we couldn't get directly onto the street from our block - instead, we had to trek through the grounds and back out the main entrance, which took about 10 mins or so. Still, we weren't far compared to other blocks.
Hotel staff we found very friendly and helpful.
Entertainment was fab also.
All in all, we had a good holiday, though I wouldn't go back to Bellevue (mainly because the room wasn't suitable).

Apartment was spotless, maid came 3 times a week to change towels and clean. Once a week to change linen.
Outside Bellevue was all the pubs and resteraunts you need, dont forget to visit the crepe man just before bridge (crepes taste good).
Staff were friendly and most spoke good English. Dont miss tribute shows in show garden Westlife were great.
We couldn't get kids out of pool, they had a brill time meeting other kids.
Don't let bad reviews put you off we had a great time and will be going back!
