We were a bit apprehensive after reading other reports on this site, but I am pleased to report that the hotel was fine, only air conditioning would have been better!!
The hotel room was clean when we arrived, we stayed in Leda 2, and had maid service 3 times in the week that we were there.
As we were self catering we were eating out, but places to eat were everywhere. A favourite with us was Lunas Grill, straight outside the main gates of the hotel.
The kitchen at the hotel was very basic, but when I go on holiday it is for a complete break, not to spend half of it in the kitchen like at home!!
The pools were clean, and at no point did we come across the funny smell described in other reports!
The evening entertainment in the show garden was very good, with Robbie Williams, West Life and Beatles tribute bands, and a Disney tribute for the kids. Only criticism about these is that they don

We were very sceptical before we went after reading reports on this site, some things were true.
We stayed in Serina 1. We went self catering and we found you had to hire a kettle, toaster, TV ect, they start at 12 euros each for the week.
The room was clean but very hot, you can hire a fan for 18 euros, but was told it did not make much difference. You get woke up very early every morning around 6.45, due to the sprinklers and someone with a petrol driven blowing machine, so you won

Amazing!!! Nothing else to say. Cleanliness you could lick your meal off the floor and I mean you could.
Alcudia is a lively place with many bars and pubs which was great for us and the food was lovely at the hotel restaurants.
I must say that the hotel supermarket is a bit expensive but there is another along from the hotel so it was'nt a disaster for us. Going back defo.

This is our 4th vist to the Belle Vue and this time it was much better. The kids loved the pools but we mainly stayed at 1. We read the reviews before hand and were a bit worried but when we got there, there was nothing to worry about. Room was nice and clean but not many amenities but you can hire them. Recommend this to families.

Just grabbed a quick week away, very disappointed.
Room dirty no change of towels at all, very rowdy, low grade typical brit abroad resort.
People were arriving dressed in fake designer gear! I am no toff, come from Dartford, and lived in s e London for 22 years on a council estate, but this place is in need of a re-furb.
After reading the other reviews I had to write. Good points are the beach (apart from the fag buts) and the ease in travelling about.
Restraunts ok bars ok (tapas bar excellent, well friendly) just the resort poor. And as for the rats which some people didn

Myself and husband went there for a break without our children it was my first time ever abroad and I could not have chosen a better place. We stayed in Minova 1 and I found it clean and the staff were freindly.
I would definetly go again and am planning to go back with my 3 children next year.
Everything is close the beach is a 10 min walk depending on how fast or slow you walk. The beach is clean and ideal for families or for people who just want a relaxing holiday i'd recommend this place to anyone with or without kids.
The food on the resturants was good value for money. The shops are good value too.
We had maid service 3 times in the week.
The the night life was fab on and off the bellevue complex.
We did go out to eat ther is plenty of resturants and caters for all food tastes myself and husband are trying to convince other family members in coming next year with us.
I cant wait to take my children I felt safer there than I did in my own town and think there is nothing to worry about I think it boils down to personal taste I didnt smell anything nasty nor see anything to moan about.

So if you do read a bad report dont worry you could even go as a single person and meet people and have a great time.

Went for 2 weeks on self catering basis with our 3 children. We had a great holiday.
The pools are brilliant with loads to choose from, but beware the tiled floor is extremely slippery when wet.
The apartment room is very basic with very little in the way of utensils.
We requested a room on low level and ended up being put on the 7th floor. The lifts were forever breaking down and on complaining to the staff got a very rude reception - not much fun having to carry a 1 year old a 2 year old and 2 prams up to the 7th floor.
The entertainment is brilliant but found that the main shows started too late for us with 3 young children - they did not start until around 10pm.

Enjoyed this holiday as it was a Hen Weekend, and we all had a fab time.
The rooms were clean; nice bathroom, good size lounge area, bedrooms were a bit small but didn't spend much time in there anyway.
Couldn't comment on the food as we were s/c, but there is a supermarket 2 mins away with a variety of food and drink.
Hotel location was good as all bars, clubs and restaurants were near by.
Couldn't comment on the staff either as we were out all the time and didn't see any staff at all. Again couldn't comment on the entertainment as we were out each night, but sounded good when we wee leaving our rooms.
Good place to stay, you can go into any pool as it is on a large complex.

After reading comments on the Bellevue I was a bit anxious about going even to the point I had not told my partner I had read the reviews!! We have just returned and I now see that the negative comments have obviously came from people that have been Royalty in a former life!!!! We were in a two bedroom apartment in Minerva 2 which was at the back of the complex, the room was large basic but very clean and was cleaned 3 times a week. Staff were all very friendly. The pools are situated throughout the complex but if you cant get a bed there is loads of grassy areas to lie. There was the odd smell but nothing to shout about. The entertainment was great the kids were all kept busy day and night. The beach was about 15 minutes walk down the boulevard. The shop on site was expensive but across the road from the complex the supermarket was a lot cheaper. We were half board and the food was great. Recommend the pirate show that airtours run, it is expensive but well worth every penny.
