1st impressions of the place were not bad. The room was a fair size, although a bit dull decoration wise. The floor tiles were a bit grimy and the kitchen was far too small. The kitchen utensils and pots/pans would not come clean at all although this may have something to do with the water.
Maid service was a touch sketchy. Once they came two days running and then not for 3 days! They didn't go overboard on the cleaning to be honest, just made the beds and put towels on racks if used. The floors were never mopped and windows remained dirty.
The pool was great but the people around it were a problem. People were out at 5:30 in the morning reserving sunbeds even though it was forbidden. This led to some angry faces and many families having to sit on the grass verge away from the pool while other families hoarded all the sunbeds for children and even babies. I looked out of the balcony at 9:00 one morning and there was a chap sat there reserving 17 loungers for his family and other families who he had started talking to the day before! At most only 10 of those loungers were used for more than half an hour that whole day! Shame on you Mr lounger hoarder!!!
We read many reviews likening the complex to a council estate and were not under this impression in the 1st week as it was quiet. The 2nd week however did go some way to justify these reviews. The place was not overly loud or rough but we could sense as it got busier that the reviews may hold true in some peoples eyes.
We ate out virtually every lunch and dinner time due to the size of the kitchen. As vegetarians we found the food on offer soon became boring and repetative, every single restaraunt has the same on the menu! (Anyone wanting to make a few bob would do well to offer some decent veggie food!!!!! I'm sure we're not the only ones?) Our children were soon bored with going out for meals as the only thing on offer for them was Chicken nuggets chips beans, pizza, hamburger chips beans. A lot was wasted as they are tired from being in the sun all day and are not that interested in fried food after 3 solid days of chips.
A meal, including drinks, for 2 adults 2 children was typically around the 45 euro mark. Which I was converting to approx

We have booked to go again in May this year and are all really looking forward to it.
The best entertainment around is in the Red Lion under Siesta 1 the entertainers are absolutely fantastic!!!
Throuhgout the day there are entertainers around the pool and all sorts of activities for children and adults.
The Hidropark is only 15 mins walk and the beach is about the same
I would highly recommend the Bellevue for families with under 10s

The room overlooked the main street, this was busy during the day but during the night (from midnight onwards) this was quiet, all music has to be kept to a minimum level after midnight.
I was not disturbed by any noise. The block had three lifts going up to the top floor, all entrances had disabled access. The reception had numerous vending machines with drinks and snacks; it also had 2 computers enabling you to access the internet for a very reasonable price.
The room was cleaned and had bedding and towel change 3 times in one week. There was 3 pools within easy reach of the block and all were clean and welcoming. The entertainment at night was very good and I enjoyed a few evenings at the show garden, listening to various acts and entertainers, all of which were appropriate for children and adults alike.
I found the complex itself had everything you could possibly need, for example shops, doctor, 8 pools, tennis courts, 2 restaurants, pizza parlour, bike hire, hairdressers, gym, a bar, go kart track and the evening entertainment venue, plus much more, there is even a boat which takes you to the beach every 15 mins. I would recommend these apt if you

The hotel was situated near the shops and restaurants and the beach was just about 10 minutes away.
Our pool was so good we spent nearly every afternoon there. If you don't like the pool at your own block you can use any pool. There were quiet pools and noisy ones so it was good to have the choice where to go.
The entertainment was brilliant, we thought all the tribute bands were really good, so did our mum and dad.
Our apartment was very spacious but only had a small kitchen but this was ok as we went out for meals most of the time.
We loved it so much we have convinced our parents to go back again this year. yippee!

The room was small and very very hot, and the hired fan did not really help. There was also a real problem with mosquitos partly due - i imagine - to the puddles of stagnant water around the complex. Going to Majorca, I did not not pack a mosquito, but 19 bites later, I think it may have been useful.

This has got be the worst holiday and I have been to majorca before and will not be returning to belle vue.
The entertainment was ok and about the best thing there in the show garden, We got a meal card to use at the restaurant in the complex which was in the centre of the complex. Lots of choice but was'nt very nice so cheaper and better to go out for meals. Lovely pub called big ben which did a great sunday's dinner.
Sprinklers were in ground with no hazard sign fell over one - dangerous as they are like big pot holes.
This is one place or holiday we will not consider again. Holiday from hell and far too much money for that kind of place.

As for the maid service this was hard to find, and I spent most of the week using my beach towel. As for the layout of the complex then I agree with certain other comments regarding council estates.
The Rep was more interested in selling trips than making sure we were looked after, promising us fans if we went to their meeting. Fans are available from Reception.(about 18 euros for one week.)
The spar supermarkets(on site) are at least double the price of supermarcado which are just outside the hotel.
The hotel is suitated about 15 mins from the beach but there is a boat service (again more money.) that runs every 15 mins and costs about 2.50 euros for a return ticket. I choose to walk every day, it's not that bad.
There was certainly enough at the hotel to keep the kids amused (although I don't have any) with fun fairs, entertainment.
The hotel has got a good location if you like walking around the bars and restaurants at night.
As for Alcudia - thought the resort was top notch and the beach lovely (although I did come across a dead jelly fish on the beach.)
I would go back to Alcudia, but stear clear of the Bellevue complex. Didn't hear too much noise at night but then I'm a good sleeper - when I wasn't covered in sweat.....
