This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

the resort was cean but alot of building work going on,there wasn't much nightlife it is centred around your hotel'the beaches are manmade so they can be rocky so mind your feet. There are plenty of restuarants to choose from in the centre of the resort.

Excellent....
We have been twice already and long to return.
The ideal resort for a chilled, relaxed holiday with children.

Resort is like spain twenty years ago. And will be a lot nicer and busier in a few years I suppose. We did not see any evidence of crime and everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Beach ok but not good for children lots of pebbles at waters edge, Man made beach with hardly any sand on really. A lady went swimming and broke her leg while we were there on some rocks. Would probably visit resort again, Quiet when we were there, but would avoid beach

When we arrived at Caletta de Fuste, we were not impressed. If you like scenic views, you won't get them here. It does not matter which way you turn, it all looks the same, lava rock, volcano's and more desert like scenery. Very boring.
There are quite a few little shops, but not a huge amount, and they all seemed to sell the same. The best part of the resort was the food. Visit Slow Boat (Chinese), El Toro (Spanish), and there was a Mexican place, but forgotten what it was called.
There was a nice little play area for kids with bungy trampolines and normal trampolines, even us adults went on. Other than that, there was not much else to do.
The beach is the worse I have seen. I would not go in the water, in fear of falling over. We only visited it once. Pebbles in the water. The best beach is in Jandia and the water is crystal clear, unlike Caletta de Fuste.
I would never return, I was very disappointed. It's not a place for families, more like retired people. I have been completly honest about this place, but everybody likes different things, so if you do go, I hope you do enjoy it.

We love this resort, and try to go every year. This year we went with my eldest daughter, but my two other daughters are going this year too, with their families.
It is family orientated with an excellent beach and 'promenade'. I don't think that it is a resort for the young free and single, at least not yet.
All the new developments are kept to the same low level. The new shopping centre is very good, and can reached by a 25 minute walk by the sea. We first stayed up on the hill in a very British area (Red Lion etc) but have gradually moved down to the centre. My daughters enjoy the Broncemar Hotel for it's family entertainment.
The airport is close, but the low flying aircraft are just another exciting aspect of the resort for the children.
If you hire a car,El Cotillo is 40 mins away and well worth a visit.

Resort is great, enough bars to keep you busy but not rowdy, very relaxing, but not dead quiet, depends on the time of year.
Beach is manmade and although it is okay it could do with some more sand from the sahara! Have been to resort 7 times over the last 10 years and seen many changes, mostly for the better.
Walk along the promenade to the Atlantico shopping centre for the cheapest supermarket...building more 4/5 star hotels around the bay. Would definately return again.

The market is very typical, hundreds of stalls selling 10 types of goods.
The harbour is pleasant and the oceanarium trip was excellent and good value for money.
Not really suitable for real beach lovers but a safe man made cove which was fine for us.

Lovely quiet resort. Really really clean. Nice selection of shops and bars. Very close to the airport so no worries about hour long coach rides before you arrive at your hotel. The beach has beautiful white sand.

Most of the apartments are about 1/2 a mile up the hill from the beach so be ready for abit of a trek if you have little ones and buckets/ spades / lilos...etc
The beach was nice enough and the town was being developed but did not effect us. We hired a car and found better resorts at Correlco ( forgive the speling ) and Jandia
