This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

The resort itself was very accesible from the hotel. There is a huge shopping centre down at the front, which has a cinema in it.The golf course is championship standard and the shops are great
I found the place very welcoming and clean and my wife and kids often went walking down to the front

The resort was very clean. Although there is a considerable amount of new development going on and the resort is going to be much bigger very shortly!
The resort entertainment was OK but travelling with two children limits what you can do, although we didn't use them there is a new cinema and ten pin bowling. The one thing we did use and were very good were the Mini Golf which were very clean and well cared for.
The beach was Ok but in parts quite a few pebbles. Water very clean though and you can feed the fish at the waters edge.

Caletta de Fuste - The beach was fantastic and very clean. There is also a man on the beach that makes beautiful sculptures and offers a sandcastle school. He also does scrolls with special messages for 10 euros, we had one done for my son as it was his birthday whilst we were out there and he thought it was great.
Lots of places to eat for lunch and in particular we used the Trafalgar. On most days they were very quick but occasionally we had to hang around. Food was always good and hot. We tried the Beatles next door, but once was enough.

Supermarkets in and around hotel resort area were very expensive compared to the hypermarket 'Spa' just 5min taxi ride away. Cost of taxi (2euros) well below savings made so would recommend if self catering (or especially for water and alcohol, beer etc). Not a great dealo to do in Caleta de Fuesta so only go here if you want some R&R.

This was the third time we have been to Caleta and again it did not disappoint.
Lots to see and do, plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops to keep all ages happy and entertained. None of it is in your face however, like Benidorm or Magaluf.
Caleta is a friendly, easy going resort ideal for winding down and relaxing.

The resort of Caleta is very laid back.it has a couple of bars scattered about with late licence, but never came across any nightclubs.
The resort was clean and tidy and wasnt littered with rubbish.
There is a saturday market which is worth a browse, selling leather bags and wallets. watches and other nick nacks.
This resort is very low key so if you are after a relaxing holiday then this is the place to be.

To be totally honest, because we were All Inclusive we didn't really venture outside the apartments!
The weather was lousy whilst we were there too, but we did have a couple of games of mini golf - which was good.
The little beach cove is lovely and really clean. There is a volleyball net and a couple of football goals on the beach, which came in very handy!

Having not visited Caleta for more than 10 years we were very pleasently surprised when we arrived - it has grown a great deal but whilst there is some building work still going on, it has all been done very tastefully.
The bonus of staying here is the short (10-15 minutes) transfer from the airport and whilst the holiday brochures warn of aircraft noise it can become a hobby - plane spotting!
The resort is very cosmopolitan with a vast range of restaurants, cafes etc, we ate in many restaurants but went back time and time again to El Patio which had an extensive menu, excellent food and very friendly staff.
The beach is big and sandy (although the sand is not as fine as it looks!) and you can choose whether or not to use any of the banks of sunbeds/umbrellas, or there is plenty of space to park your towels on the beach. What it does lack is toilet facilities (if there are any we never found them).
There are lots of supermarkets, shops and nightlife to keep you busy.
We would not hesitate in recommending Caleta to anyone, and will definitely be returning as soon as we can.

The resort is generally clean but perhaps a bit lacking in character. The beach is nice enough and there's plenty of good reataurants if you look hard enough. Don't expect a lively night life - it's not the place for young groups.
I think it's destinded for considerable expansion in the coming years - I hope it's done sensitively.
