Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Don’t stay here. Death would be better.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

Resort very clean & tidy, not so sure about the entertainment as we had good entertainment at our hotel and there isn't a beach as such just a couple of manmade one although they were clean & tidy. Wonderful rugged coastline and picturesque views.

Playa Blanca is the best resort on Lanza in my opinion. Clean, plently of tasteful shops and with nice restaurants.

Very quiet and clean. Hardly any shops or night life. Lovely!

There were a few problems we could see with the local diposal of rubbish and waste/smell just outside playa blanca itself, but it did'nt cause too much problem as sun beach apartments were about half a mile away. The beach is a little rocky and the sands tends to bed quite corse on your feet, but the beach was quite clean.

Playa Blanca is a small resort but with plenty to see and do. Would recommend the ferry over to Fueteventura for a great day out. Plenty of excellent restaurants and the beach is spotless and extremely safe for the kids.

playa blanka is wicked. its a new resort still growing but it is so clean i would eat my dinner off it! the beach is lovely, with golden sand. burger king on the beach with a sea view. it took about 20 mins to get to the bar/club we went to (rooftops) but the walk along the beach is beautiful!!! highly recomended

Playa Blanca is perfect for families/couples who want a relaxing holiday. It is a really friendly safe place you can walk around very late at night and never feel the slightest worry.
There is a quaint harbour and at night restaurants abound the beach/harbour front.
There are beautiful beaches very close by Playa Payago (prob spelt wrong) is a must see beach. The kind you see in brochures.
Good supermarket in center of Playa Blanca (Netto) if self catering this place is very handy.
I have to say Playa Blanca as did the whole of Lanzarote really impressed me. It has everything you could wish for good hotels, fantastic weather, fantastic beaches and friendly people.
The trip to the volcano's is a "must see" it is truly breathtaking. Timanfaya park is the name. Remember that as it's worth every penny. The pirate ship trip again was worth every penny. A great family day out.
We are going back in July 05 and I really cannot wait.

Playa Blanca is small but the beach is well kept and the water is clear. There is a number of restaraunts. There are a few shops about but nearly all the same.

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
