Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Don’t stay here. I would stay under a rock on the beach in Playa Blanca over this.
Don’t stay here. Death would be better.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

The resort is very clean. The marina was built approximately 4 years ago with a definite view to the holiday-maker. It was a very picturesque area hence restaurant prices reflecting that. E.g meal for 3 About 100 euros.
In playa blanca costs were slightly less. Some restaurants we could recommend were Tiguana tex-mex, Cervantes on the main street, Lani's (at the marina) and Contin -for a nice tapas-
We had two chinese meals, one at the China City that was good, and then the Slow Boat 1 which was very poor, and the staff there were miserable! (Bear in mind there is a slow boat 2 which we did not go to)
For 3 of us we spent a 1000 euros/pounds at the time for the week but we did eat out twice a day.
And finally there was not much entertainment, just a few music bars and sports bars.

Quiet, couple and young familiy orientated area around Playa Flamingo with a little more life in the main resort area with shops, bars and restaurants in abundance. Resort entertainment low key with the odd singer/musician in various restaurants. Beach cleaned daily. Playa Flamingo is a small beach and for those requiring water sports and a bigger beach a short taxi drive or 20 min walk to Playa Dorado will provide more activities and loungers.

Playa Blanca is growing but still not too developed to be spoilt. The resort is quiter than Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise. It has 3 white sand beaches - Playa Flamingo at one end, the town beach in the middle and Playa Dorada at the other end. The restaurants are first class. There is a wide choice depending on taste. English fare is available for those that must have it and typical canarian, italian, chinese and of course, tapas. Plenty of shops. Choice of supermarkets, cafe bars and sports bars. Approx 10 mins walk to the new Marina Rubicon area where there is designer shops and lots of restaurants.
Very plesant resort. Perhaps wouldn't suit all teenagers although my son used to love it. Less entertainment in the winter months inpart due to less holidaymakers and the predominately older clientele.
Always visit at least once a year and will be returning this September

We enjoy visiting Playa Blanca. It has expanded a lot since our first visit over 25 years ago but has still managed to retain its character.

Playa blanca is low key resort, very clean and not at all tacky.
If you want a quiet relaxing holiday but with good amenities then this is an excellent choice.
We would not hesitate to return.

Playa Blanca is the type of resort that will appeal to the holiday maker who is looking for a tremendous choice in good eating establishments at reasonable prices.A multitude of restaurants are directly on the beachfront and it was wonderful to enjoy either a meal or a drink directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the lights of the neighboring Island of Fuerteventura. At the rear of the beachfront promenade is a pedestrian only avenue that has lots of top name shops (hide the wifes credit card!)

This hotel is immaculate and the staff are great but the entertainment at night is its downfall therefore I wont return here, but otherwise yes its a fantastic place to go to.

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
