Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Block 9027 is central and near to hub of hotel.
Don’t stay here. I would stay under a rock on the beach in Playa Blanca over this.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

The marina at Playa Blanca is lovely with some nice walks around it. There is a small market at it every Wednesday and Saturday morning. It is nice sitting having a coffee watching the boats. The walk into Playa Blanca town takes roughly about 20-25 mintues but there are small cafes along the way where you can just sit and chill out. Well worth the walk.

We found Playa Blanca to be the nicest of all the resorts we visited on Lanzarote. Good restaurants and bars, particularly along the waterfront. Enjoy!

The hotel was the other end of Playa Blanca next to Papagayo Beaches. If you go to these beaches by car, its 3 euro to enter, the terrain is rough, few beaches but well worth the visit, many are difficult to access by foot, but this seemed to be all part of the fun. The nearest beach to the hotel is walkable. Start at the front entrance though and follow the paths - you will soon get the hang of it. Would suggest you do not use the steep path at the coast side of hotel as it is dangerous. The walk from front entrance takes about 15 mins. Beach is golden sand and sea so blue. Take some drinking water with you.
If you leave the hotel from the garden you enter a wide sort of promenade that will take you around the coast to Rubicon Marina. Craft market here wednesday and saturday, not expensive, (not a tacky market). Lovely marina, also a supermarket complex with toilets etc. (Nettos on marina was much more expensive than the Spanish supermarket)Also there is mini golf and play things for the children outside the shopping complex.
Follow the promenade on from the marina and you will eventually come to Playa Blanca itself. Here there is a golden sand beach with sun beds, pedaloes etc. Further on restaurants, cafes and gift shops overlooking the sea. At the end two ferries cross to Fueterventura (think about £40/50 quite expensive for the trip)but worth watching them back and fo..Street behind this has shops - surfing, perfume, gifts, clothes and a spa. Also good information centre. One pharmacy. Further on from this there are more hotels. Taxi rank opposite the pharmacy and they are not expensive.
Also opposite the taxi rank is a small agent selling local trips, mini bus hire etc. We booked a southern short trip here to the volcano (fire mountain) and camel ride(optional). Well worth the money. Our English speaking guide Nick talked constantly about the volcano and was very informative. Trip was 30Euro each, picked up and returned to our hotel. Playa Blanca consists of lowrise, small white washed buildings, very clean and well presented. Have stayed other places on Lanzarote and would now only stay at Playa Blanca. If you go - Enjoy..

Beautiful Marina, just the right amount of shops and you can see Fuertaventura on all but the cloudest days. The ferry to get there takes 12 minutes and you can watch it go to and from the islands at regular intervals.

Fantastic resort. Hotels mostly upmarket, and relatively more expensive that Puerto Del Carmen.
Beach also fantastic. Very clean, seemed safe enough. Easy availability of sunloungers, but may be more difficult in high-season. I think €7.50 for 2 loungers each day.
Promenade along cliffs going from Marina Rubicon to the Ferry port. Lovely walk. Restaurants, tourist shops, etc all along this 'strip'.
Marina Rubicon very picturesque. Shops there are more upmarket, eg- Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, etc, so won't get cheap bargains there!!! Nice area though. Lots of cafes, restaurants, wine bars, etc.
Resort too quiet for anyone looking for even a miniscule amount of night-life. There are bars scattered along prom, but as resort is more family orientated, they were empty!!
To summarise--
Beautiful resort.
Very clean.
Easily accessible for disabled persons-- a lot of wheelchair users were there.
Very quiet re night-time entertainment.
Quality of food in bars/restaurants generally very good, and inexpensive.
Our fave was Lani's Tex Mex/Steakhouse on the Marina Rubicon. Food excellent, and always an atmosphere there.

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
