Location
Which brings me to my next story, I wasn't eating the food so we went out for a Chinese, and my husband got food poisoning, the staff on reception were great and organized an English speaking doctor for us straight away.
The hotel and rooms were always clean and the apartment was comfortable.
We went for winter sun and during our stay the entertainment was a bit naff, there was parrot show bingo and a pub quiz and mini disco.
The hotel is located on top of a very very very steep hill and a good 15-20 min walk to town / beach.
I would go to the hotel again, but not while it

It was not too far to travel from the airport 20 euro from the airport in a taxi. The hotel was opposite a water park and is situated close to a port.
This is not a place to visit if you have one of your party in a wheelchair or have any kind of walking difficulties, due to hills.
There are seven floors to the hotel. In my opinion it is best to be one the higher floors as we only saw 2 cockroaches the whole of our stay although other guests where complaining about them on the ground floors.
The rooms where clean and tidy cooker and fridge I the room no kettle for making a brew only a pan that did the trick.
The cleaners only clean your room every other day.
Beware on the day the cleaners come to do your rooms they have a tendency to leave the door unlocked and belongings where going missing.
The entertainment was not that great except Anastasia night and the hypnotist was great and the Elvis comedian was good. Bingo was on every night 1 euro per ticket although numbers are shouted out in 4 different languages.
The food they love pork on the menu every night even so the food was good quality and we enjoyed it.
The Hotel staff where ok not used to smiling I think but they where not unpleasant.
The courtesy room is a bit of a joke we where not flying out of Tenerife till 00.04 so we had to be out of our room by 12 noon we had to leave our cases in the reception area all day. We were by the pool all day and when we went to get the courtesy room to shower there was 4 rooms to shower in and all of these rooms where backed up with 5 couples waiting to shower. We ended up washing in the toilets.
I would visit this hotel again but is a definite 3 star hotel if you want anything else book somewhere else.
Hope this is useful

Our room was on the ground floor, so we had a lovely patio area, and overlooked the pool (116).
The pool was always cleaned twice a day, and the whole area done every morning and evening, so clear away any rubbish that didn't make it to the bins (there were alot dotted around all the pool area). It was easily large enough to accommodate us all, 2 adults, 2 children and a baby.
The food on the whole was pretty good, yes there was always a roast of the day, which was lovely, but there was in addition, 4 different salads, a hot meat dish, a fish dish, either 2 pasta, or a rice dish, a vegetable dish, chips, soup, 4 different sorts of rolls as well as breads to choose from at every meal time, so there was always something there to eat, and it was of a good standard. The puddings weren't as good, but there was still lots of different sorts of pastries, 3 different ice-creams, and another pudding to choose from. The snack bar offered a wide choice of snacks, which our children loved, and the hotel also does a huge packed lunch which you can book if like us you are going out for the day.
The hotel is half way up the hill/mountain, about 15 minutes walk down to the beach. We did wish we were a bit closer, but it was a lovely walk down, even with the buggy. Everywhere we went, there were ramps, or lifts down, so we didn't find it a problem. We are a young family, so it didn't worry us too much, but it might be different if you are more mature! On the way up we were looking forward to a well earned swim in the pool, and a large drink to cool us off!
The staff on the whole were always curteous, however, at times they were very busy, so they could be abrupt, they were just trying to cut the queue down!
The hotel did 'entertainment' every evening, which wasn't really our sort of thing, but was really popular with other guests, bingo, kids disco, quizes something different on every night.
On the whole we had a great holiday, and we would return again, it is typical 3 star, and ideal for families.

We had 2 twin beds pushed together, which made a 'double bed', but when we lifted the mattress we found that all the slates underneath were broken, we didn

The rooms were clean but as for the food the restaurant was like a canteen with people fighting for tables. The food was terrible, we ate out everyday
Pool: ok but very busy
I would never come back again it was a shambles

One of the most disgusting 3* hotels we have stayed in, resembles a 1950s run down holiday camp. Rooms not cleaned, ciggie packets and hair balls under the beds, broken floor tiles all over the appt. Rusty fittings dropping of in the bathroom, Sun terrace! Mould and dirty marks all over the white? Plastic furniture, so called clothes airer all covered in rust.
Staff very rude and unhelpful refused to change our rooms which were next to a huge aircon. generator. Like being next to Jet engines.
We moved next day to a decent hotel.

The location of the hotel is good, only 800 metre walk to the nearest beach, which is a nice beach. HOWEVER. . .
THE ROOM:
1. The floors were dirty with sand and long dark hair lying on the floor when we first walked in, even after the rooms had been apparently cleaned, the floors were still dirty,
2. The bedding was grubby, old and often had tears in it, the blankets were grubby and very old, and not all of the bedding was changed during cleaning, the same pillow cases were left on all week.
3. Upon our arrival, the toilet seat in our hotel room had a large crack right through it, meaning you could not sit on it without potentially pinching your thigh in it, we had to make special demands to have it repaired - I am surprised that the hotel does not have a system for regularly maintaining their rooms.
4. The public areas, outdoor sitting & pool area were very dirty and even after the cleaning staff had been through, were not cleaned properly - (eg. cigarette buts in the umbrella stand base)
5. From 11 am onwards there was constant (often irritating) music being played from large loud speakers. This music did not stop until midnight everyday, so even if you did wish to relax in some peace & quiet, you could not until midnight.
6. The entertainment was variable, on some nights it was of quite a good quality and worth sticking around for, other days it was clearly the cheapest entertainer that they could afford to bring in.
7. The food was the worst of all. Dinner was lunch re-heated, as was often the lunch & dinner the following day. The bread & rolls at all meal times, was always stale and rock-hard. Breakfast meats were re-used too many days in row, until they took on a sour taste (gone off). Although the hotel suggested they would put on special dinners, this did not happen, it was always the same food - very British in style - red meat, over cooked salmon and over cooked vegetables, and a salad bar that was slowly drying out. Although we had paid for all-inclusive, we stopped eating at the hotel and went to other restaurants for delicious freshly cooked food.
This may only be a 3 star hotel, but I have stayed in several 1 star establishments that were much nicer, so I do not believe that claiming only to be 3 star excuses, this lack cleanliness or service. Other even cheaper accommodation exists on Tenerife, that has far higher standards than this place.
I would never visit this establishment again, nor would I recommend anyone else too, unless they are certain that the hotel's standards have changed. It is such a shame, because the place does have potential, and the staff are so friendly.

The food was served buffet style with plenty of choice to satisfy anyone except those who expect 5 star for 3 star money.
The hotel was quiet with quite a few older people as guests. There are quite a large number of Spanish people using this hotel.
Location is excellant 10 min walk to the sea front and all the nightlife. The area around the hotel is quiet with a good selection of bars and restaurants mainly Italian.
The entertainment at the hotel is limited but Peter the guy in charge does a excellent job, he kept our handicapped daughter happy on many occasions and the other staff were more than helpful.
The pool is large enough with recliners always available it was never crowded.
This hotel is really two apartment blocks but makes a good base for any one on a budget holiday we would use it again

The rooms were basic but functional.
The variety of food was repetitive but very nice and well presented.
The staff were nice and curteous at all times.
The pool side bar was ok.
At the snack Bar the food was generaly nice but you were treated like you were in a cattle market. There were also a good selection of Drinks (VERY GENEROUS PORTIONS!).
The entertainment was not fantastic but adequate.
The location was not very good, as it was based on a steep hill. The hill was tiled and very slippery even when dry.
