Tenerife is lovely and if it was a cheap holiday it would not have been so bad, But we paid nearly

A few problems but we got what we paid for in a 3 star hotel. We are now looking to book again for next year.
Hotel staff very busy all time, but we would moan if they were sat around chatting.
Entertainment good the best being Elvis which we could have watched all night.
Found one cockroach minding his own buisiness on the landing one night as we came home drunk but he was very friendly.

We stayed all inclusive to save running around looking for decent food, bit of a mistake. Food was ok but much the same every day too much sliced beef, pork, not very much choice. All inclusive drinks finish at 11pm prompt, and you are only allowed to take two drinks away from the bar at a time, one of the bar staff was very firm on this verging on nasty. That said most of the staff we found very friendly.
The hotel is situated alongside the motorway and is a little noisy by the pool and at night in the room, we stayed in 619. The room was clean but the bathroom could do with some work, bath rusty, cistern running all the time, tiles broken etc.
The entertainment was about what you would expect from a 3 star hotel but the seating is not comfy. Every evening we went to the dining room to see what food was on offer and ended up eating out 5 nights out of 7.
I hope this helps you decide on your future holidays.

We booked our holiday independently and it was a bargain!
The food was adequate. There was enough choice to satisfy most tastes but it could be a little bland - not nasty, just bland.
The hotel was kept very clean. Maid service every other day. Pool area cleaned daily.
The complex is about a 10 min walk to the sea front. It is on a rather steep hill, going down not too bad, walking back a bit more difficult. Still kept us fit!
The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. There were one or two who were a little surly.
The entertainment was much as expected, kids disco, bingo, quiz, caberet. Parrot show, singers, hypnotist etc.
We would certainly return to this hotel for a cheap second holiday (which this was) but we would probably spend more for our main annual holiday and go to somewhere with a higher star rating.
Don't be put off by some of the bad reports online. You get what you pay for and this was extremely good value for money.

We booked all inclusive, however that means you can only get drinks up until 11pm, there after you pay for you drinks like everybody else.... maybe not so inclusive !
On our last day, we were informed that we could not get free drinks after 12pm as our fully inclusive ended there, albeit that we didn't arrive until 10pm on our first day !
The rooms were supposed to have room service 3 times a week, this turned out to be just twice in the week.
The entertainment was just dire...... it may have entertained kids up to the age of 12, but there after it was just awful, but of course if you were over 65, there was always bingo to look forward to !!!
The hotel is badly in need of a face lift, it obviously hasn't had any money spent on the up keep of it in many a year.
Overall, I do not rate this hotel in anyway and found nobody that i spoke to who thought it was any good.
Word of advice.... do not use this hotel unless you are already sleeping on the streets, there are lots of good hotels in Tenerife and THIS ISN'T ONE OF THEM !!!
You have been warned.
The bed linen was grubby and torn, the rooms were very basic and when we had a shower the water was always cold.
The food was so bad that we ate out most of the time. We were All Inclusive but this stopped at 11.00 pm and on the day we were leaving stopped at 12.00 although we did not arrive until 10.00 at night and only had one hour the first day,
This is a really poor hotel and I would not advise anyone to go there,

The hotel is by far the worst all inclusive complex I have ever experienced and would seriously advise other people considering going here to re-think their decision, it is most certainly not 3*, would struggle to reach 1*.
I paid

I booked a three star hotel and that is what I got. I clean three tier apartments. We stayed in room 505, you first walked into the lounge come kitchen, up stairs was the bathroom and bedroom then up a few more stairs to the balcony. The rooms were cleaned regular.
The food was really great you had a different choice every day, and so much to choose from, the tables were always cleaned quickly, the staff were always friendly, I could not fault the restaurant at all.
The pool area was clean, the pool bar did get a bit busy at times but that can

I think the majority of guests are all inclusive so it was all in disrepair rusty hob, yellow fridge, black grime around any crease or joint. We telephoned our rep to be told that she could do nothing till the morning we went to reception to ask to change rooms they let us see another room it was no better, we had no option but to spend the night. After cleaning the bath just so we could get in to it we filled it to give our 3yr old a bath but the water was yellow so that put a stop to that. In reception later we got talking to 4 other couples all moaning about the general state of the hotel.
The next morning I watched as the maids hosed the bins out on the pool side, dirty water draining in to the pool. Finally the rep turned up an told us it would cost us 200 euros to move hotels but I had no option. We went to the Compostela Golf 3 it was spot on so went on to have good holiday.
The Caledonia park aparthotel needs shutting down for health and safety reasons among others
