If you are ever going to stay at this hotel make sure you are fit and very healthy and don't have any breathing problems were you need to use inhalers, the road from the front up to the hotel should be named as Coronary Hill as this hill could lead and cause a person to have a heart attack, the side of the hotel where we where it was always in the shade, and another thing is advisable to bring earplugs because you find when people come in late they can be a bit nosy taking no thought for people trying to sleep, and people argueing during that time of the morning....

Typical Spanish beaches and shops. The beach was cleaned very evening around 10 pm. Plenty of shops in the vicinity and the local transport was excellent. Trips to Gibraltar were excellent the only thing is do not use Best Hotels travel agent for booking. Their service was terrible. Local buses to Torremolinos, Fuingerola and on to Marbella (3.10 euros) were excellent as was the train services.

We love this area of Spain as it is so family orientated with lots of variety for eating out. The marina is lovely with a really bustling atmoshere and the buses are fab - they run to time!
The only cleanliness issue is dog poo - it's everywhere on the pavements.
Shopping is great - especially in Torremolinos.

Resort cleanliness is fine, its hard to keep a resort tidy with so many people in it, beach at the vistamar was quite shelly but kids liked collecting shells.
Restaurants good, go to Sharvilles which is an English cooking rest. very good esp. if you have young children.
Its along the seafront heading towards the marina.
The marina is worth a visit its beautiful with all the lovely yachts.

Resort was very clean and the marina was sparkling at all times of the day and night.
Plenty of bars etc but we stayed mostly in the hotel for the kids entertainment. Tivoli world, crocodile park, cable cars and aqua park all very worth a visit.
Didnt go down to the beach but looking down it seemed very clean and plenty of showers at exits.
Would definatly go back to Hotel Bali in Benalmadena in a couple of years. It was well worth the money.

We lived in Benalmadena for 5 years so know the area quite well. The marina is lovely and well worth a visit with plenty of resturants, bars and shops. There is plenty of English bars with entertainment or quiet bars just for a drink. Lots to to there, visit the crocodile park, aquapark, tivoli world (fun park), cable car ride up to the mountain top and lots more. I think the resort has something for every age group. But beware it is very hilly!

We have been home for a week after a fabulous 2 week stay at the Bali. The hotel could do with a little up-dating,as could the swimming pool area. But the cleanliness of the whole hotel more than makes up for that. The staff were great. The marina is only down the hill and a stroll along the prom.the food at the hotel was more than good enough, but we had been recomended a few restaurants and thought we would try them. The Wok, up by the police station is fab.the best chinese meal we`ve ever had. Also Pasa Doble on the prom, unbelievable ribs.We had a great holiday, the kids loved it.we would be very tempted to go back.

Torremuelle is a modern characterless purpose built area situated between Benalmadena and Fuengirola too far to walk but transportation is very good - The trains run every half hour and are incredibly reliable. It is quite an exhausting walk up hill to the station in the heat. There is no hub and no shops to speak of!- unless I missed them there are no bucket and spade or souvenir shops just one small supermarket that never seemed open. Yet loads of new housing developments and a British college. The entertainment is mainly at Playa Bonita but there was an english bar with big brother and karaoke and some restaurants within walking distance. Having read disappointing reviews about the beach I was pleasantly surprised. There are two small probably man made bays in front of the hotel that look nice. The sand looks quite light but the grit we brought back in our rooms in towels, shoes etc was dark course volcanic stuff! Lovely stuff to make sancastles if you could buy a bucket and spade. One bay is very calm and has no sunbeds. The other has waves that are a bit like a wave pool on some days and there were ample sunbeds except on Sundays when all the locals hit the beach. I would not visit the resort again but it may suit some people.

the resort was very clean and the beach was wonderful for 8 euros a day you get 2 sunbeds with palm type shade umberella and each sunbed has a mattress so very comfy. There are lots of bars and resturants along the front but no pubs with loud music wich i did miss. The 24 hour bar is very liveley but doesn't get going untill realy late so not much good if you like to be in bed for 12 like us. A 1euro bus ride will take you to feungerola and that is very liveley from early on.The marina is worth a look although a good walk from the hotel but a pleasant one as there are lots of things to see on the way. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would return again in the future.
