Not a 4star and dated, and some staff members rude , we book this hotel on its ratings , but it about a 3star

Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

Cap Salou is generally a clean area, certain parts lack attention to detail such as unfinished paths and large unsightly rubbish bins are left in the street all around the area and are collected at night. During the day they stink and at night the noise of the collections is a disturbance.
Cap Salou is a quieter area about a 10 minute bus ride from Salou (get a taxi, its the same cost if there are 4+ of you)If you want lively entertainment you want Salou, the town is full of pubs, bars and night clubs. Cap Salou is a little more relaxed with only a few bars and restaurants.
The beaches at Cap Salou are all in small coves and are very pleasant, the sea appears crystal clear and very calm. The sandy beach is clean and it was always possible to find a decent spot for the family.
This was our third visit to the area in 5 years and we would certainly consider it again in the future

Salou is fairly clean but it could be better. The beach are is kept tidy.
I think Salou has entertainment to suit all. There is plenty british bars and also some nice spanish bars if you want away from all that. You also have port aventura and costa caribe which will keep you entertained.
Beach is kept clean but it does get very busy. If you want a quiter spot on the beach it is better to head towards Cambrils or even La Pineda which has quieter beaches.
I will be returning to Salou again as I there is so much to do there day and night.

Salou is a very beautiful place, lots of things to do, a fantastic beach, and surrounded by palm trees, there was lots of entertainment on a night and lots of things for the kids to do during the day, there was a train which took you from place to place touring all the sites of salou. We visited portaventura which was a brilliant day out and a bargain aswell. I strongly advise people to visit Aquapolis a water park with so many pools to choose from you will lose count.I would defantley visit Salou again.

What more can I say - I love this resort more than any other in Spain and I have been to most. Cap Salou is only a short distance from Salou itself (there is no way I could stay in Salou as it is far too noisy - it's nice to go into but nicer to come out). There are some really nice reasonably priced resturants in Cap Salou all of which are friendly and accommodating, serving an excellent variety of food. You must try the Paddock it has been there forever and I never tire of it. There is a small selection of bars with happy hours between 7 - 9. The kids are kept entertained with a variety of amusments we something for most ages, the youngest is our party was 9, the oldest was 14 and they all loved it. (can get a little expensive - but who cares, we're on holiday).
We visited Universal Meditterannia along with Costa Cribe which was great value for money as all the rides are included in the price. The Jeep Safari was a scream (no literally we almost came off the road) so that is something I will definately have to do again as it was brilliant, the teenagers in our party loved it. Also a waterpark is in Pineda only a five minute bus ride away. We used the local bus service regularly and never found it a problem.

The resort of Salou is fantastic. The beach is very clean with lots of volleyball nets, swings, etc for the children. To rent the sunbeds it cost 3 euros each for the whole day. There is plenty to do in Salou. Port Aventura Theme park was absolutely fantastic - Far West in particular where there are alot of wet rides. There are two waterparks, Cost Caribe (near Port Aventura) and Aquopolis in La Pineda. Both of these were great. My children absolutely loved these parks and wanted to keep going to them every day. The resort of Salou was very reasonably priced.
We would all go back again to Salou but because I have already been to these apartments twice I would like to try another apartment in Salou of course.

The resort itself is very clean, there never seemed to be any liiter anywhere. The promenade goes from one end of pineda to the other and is made of wooden planks, this looks lovely, but be warned, mind your step. I must have tripped up on them at least 50 times whilst we were there.
There were a few bars and restaurants along the front. There were a few night clubs in the bars, but we werent really looking for them as we went as a family with children. An aqua park was 5 minutes walk away with a dolphin and sea lion show. If you wanted more entertainment you can easily get a bus to salou which only takes about 10 - 15 minutes. You must visit Port Aventura, its brilliant , well woth the money. It cost us about 120 pounds for 4 adults and 2 kids. You pay adult price from age 12.
Beach was very very clean, tractors dragged the beach every night and the bins were emptied and the rubbish was always cleared. Lots and lots of rubbish bins on the beach. The sea was always very calm and nice to swim in.
Would definately visit this resort again.

i had been to this resort a few years ago with my family, this time i came with my boyfriend, hed never been on a foreign holiay before so chose Salou, and im glad i did, we both really enjoyed it, it had alot of english bars and restuarants which was good for me as i dont really eat alot and dont like foreign food. One bar called Gabbers we went to most days and nights, we usualy ate here for our dinner then came back for our tea and a drink at night, as i am a fan of big brother and this was on when we were away, they had big brother playing on the eviction night, and it was packed, the food and drinks were quite cheap aswell. We also went to a nightclub called Snoopeys, which was brilliant, the only thing was it was 10 euros for 2 bottles of drinks, which was really expensive, we ended up spending 40euros on jsut 4 drinks each!We only went on the beach once because i actually got sunburnt, but the beach was really clean and beautiful.I would diffinatly recomend this resort to anyone, familys, couples, its got everything for everyone, i am hoping to go back there soon as we both really enjoyed it.

Salou itself was a busy seaside resort, but very clean. There were lots of souvenir shops and supermarkets with plenty of places to eat and drink. There were many bars providing entertainment and lots of English style restaurants and pubs. The promenade was very wide and lined with palm trees. The beach was clean but very busy. You could hire pedelos here for one hour at a time for about 8 euros.

Salou is a really nice place, beautiful prom, & the theme park is excellent, we went to both water parks, & there is not much between them, although Aquapolis has got a lot more shade available.
