Not a 4star and dated, and some staff members rude , we book this hotel on its ratings , but it about a 3star

Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

Lovely resort with plenty to do, we went to the small cove to the left of the hotel and it was lovely, not too busy with lifeguards on duty and very clean.
Champions bar was great for the kids with a clown on two nights a week for two hours to keep the kids busy, and the Rovers Return pub on the cliff... well it was fab (I was at school with lenny so im biased!!) we played bingo, done quiz games and the kids played all sorts of games and dressed up with 80's style wigs all in all a great night out.
Had a day at Port Aventura, it was fine plenty for smaller kids to do, and on the day we went not too busy, queing times for large rides only 5 - 15 minutes.
Plenty of shops, bars etc something for people of all ages i would say. Excellent, cant wait to return.

wonderful, wonderful resort and the beach is amazing, the sea clear and blue and the sand fine and soft, great for building sandcastles. There's bars every few feet for your drink and food requests and fab looking pedaloes for hire along with toilets so you never need to leave the beach every again. Bliss!

Clean and lovely, at the end of Sept beginning of Oct it couldn't be better. More sedate than summer and less idiots around. Mostly restaurants and little bars open so can't vouch for clubs etc tho I didn't see any reference to any for the summer either. Not a massive rip off on anything and good quality gear in most of the shops. A lot of spaniards use it as a resort so that outweighs the brit influence (always a good thing I think ). very pleasant people too.

Discustingly filthy. Didn't stay long enough to check out the beaches in this area.
When we had settled in our 2nd hotel (Meditteranian Village) we found some nice places though again a lot had closed the week before.
Port Aventura was a great day for the kids costing around £80.00 for the day. This was the only good thing about being the end of season as the queues were none existent.

Visited Salou for the first time in October and would definitely go back again.
Gorgeous beaches, lovely promenade to walk along and plenty pubs , shops and eating places along the way. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming to visitors.
High police presence and never seen any signs of any trouble and felt safe waling around day and night.
Would definitely go back to this resort again but find a different hotel.

This was our 3rd visit to Salou and we stayed in Cap Salou which we have always found to be very clean.
Unfortunately going there in October is not a good idea as a lot of places are closed or closing as its end of season so there wasn't a lot to do.
The main entertainment in the Salou area is Aquapolis which closed 3 days into our holiday and we never had the weather to go there and Port Aventura which we did visit, but half the rides were closed which I found very disappointing.
Im afraid that I dont think we will ever go back to Salou as having been there 3 times we feel that we have done everything that's there to be done and visited everywhere worth visiting and that Salou is fast becoming the spanish equivalent of Blackpool.

It was ok here, but we did go out of season, so there wasnt that much for the kids.
We did have Portaventura park, and we had to go out of the resort to see other things, but it was still nice, but not much to do.

Portaventura was great.
The water parks were closed unfortunately but great place for mixing some active days with lying by the pool.

The area was nice but too much had closed it needs to wait until the beginning of November I think as there are still plenty of holiday makers about, alot of dead fish in the beach but I did see the beach being cleaned, I would go to this resort again if there was more to do that didnt involve sitting in a pub its not our thing

the resort was so clean you have to hand it to the spanish, they put the english to shame had day out at port adventura which by the way is a suberb day out and it was spotless there ,been to our theme parks with overflowing bins food rubbish everywhere ,none of that here it is kept clean at all times through the day.beach clean just be a bit careful at night as a couple from our hotel got mugged and the wife got thrown to the floor and the husband was badly bruised,so just be a bit careful at night it could happen anywhere and the thousands of other holiday makers were ok shops and bars plentiful and always haggle.nice place and would come back again.
