Although the marina is very pretty, and lots of bars to choose from, plenty of shops, it was not somewhere we visited at night so I cant comment on the entertainment at night.

The resort was very clean and tidy we wouldnt find a piece of rubbish anywhere on the floor.

The enterainment of the resort was excellent has we went to a few night clubs or dicso's as they call them and found them a good night out.

We didnt really go onto the beach a lot but it a good walk when we did go on it even though it was abit untidy and the people where very kind. I would certainly visit this resort again and cant wait to go back next year.

PEK itself is nothing special. It's nice but very small and purpose built for tourists. Once you've wandered around it you've done it - that's it! The shops are the usual tourist ones - everyone of them is the same. Like in Turkey and Egypt it's difficult to browse a shop as the sellers won't leave you alone. I just asked politely for them to leave me be or I will go - but they still want to talk to you!

The beach is very nice though. Clean, pale sand and the watersports are very cheap.

Sousse is the nearest large resort. We didn't actually get there - only drove through it and wasn't impressed. But we spoke to quite a few people who went. Unaminously they all said it was seedy and grubby and definitely catered for the lower end of the tourist market. Apparently the main market/souk in Sousse shuts at 8.00pm as it's not safe to be in it then. When it gets dark there the prostitutes and ladyboys emerge.

I wouldn't say the people particulary friendly - they just want to get as much money as they can from you and are pretty obvious about it. This is unlike the Egyptians and Turks. We've never had a bad holiday in Egypt or Turkey and always found the people charming - even when you knew they were trying to get you to spend your money!

Resort really pretty and purposly made for tourists. Lots of lovely 4* hotels. Its a great base to explore Tunisia. Entertainment low key but that suited us fine. Sousse is easily accesible by Tuk Tuk, Taxi or noddy train. Resteraunts very good le meditarnee especially. Very little hassle. shopping is better in Sousse and more reasonably priced. Haggling is a must.I would definately return.

There is no entertainment on an evening and very little to do there. I would only reccommend this resort for people who want a lazy hotel based holiday. Saying that its better than Sousse.

Plenty of choice of trips from the harbour, and shops in the resort area (Port el Kantaoui).
The 'come in and browse - no hassle' selling approach is a bit wearing after a while, and I am completely put off buying unless goods are reasonable fixed price.
The sellers do however work extremely long hours for the tourist Dinar.

the port and streets were clean there is a fun fair which is ok 10 dinars about £2.50 for 13 rides there are a few restuarants bars which they try to get you into but don't they do that in spain? you have to be on your guard if you have girl's with you,our daughters are 17 & 14 the locals pester then all the time we found that if you smile and play them at their own game but keep walking they will pick on the person behind you.you can haggle for goods if you want, set a price for yourself but remember to start low and dont go above what you want to pay if they dont come down enough walk out. we didn't buy a lot but when we did we used the fixed price shop , no hassle and just as cheap.the beach is a 5 min.ride away by horse and trailer (its free) plenty sun beds if you get there before noon, but not a lot of room between beds and sea be careful when crossing roads they dont seem to recognise pedestrians but overall its fun to watch them if different1

Resort excellent for kids with the amusement park.

Only downside is the haggling but if you say know they will leave you alone, nd there are plenty of fixed price shops, the hagglers can be avoided lovely freindly people would go back.
