Largest Rooms are in the newly refurbished rooms around the low 2000's. If you have mobility problems let reception know they will try to get you a room close to the bars/reception and no stairs to climb.

Very acceptable for a short period of time as are many other resorts.

We were a 20 minute walk from Sousse along the beach. Which was very nice. You do get bothered by people selling you things. But just ignore them and keep walking. Do not engage in conversation. They just won't leave you alone if you talk back.

Getting taxi's is really easy just make sure you have agreed the price before you get in and always barter. Ask the staff at the hotel what the fares are then you have a rough Idea.

El kantoiu is a nice area to visit,it's a marina with lots of bars and restaurants this dosn't cost much in a taxi and only take about 10 minutes.

The resort is a purpose built one and you need to take a bus or Taxi to the nearest town (Sousse). I would advise to carry on past and go to Port El Kantoui. What ever you do don't be taken for a ride on a horse and cart. It will cost you 50 Dinar for 1 hour.

The hotel is a short taxi ride away from Sousse and the hotel will happily order a taxi for you (cost ususally around 2-3 dinars) Always check out the government shop before running the gauntlet into the medina to haggle. Personally I got fed up all the hassle (even got asked the price of a gerbil, next thing we knew we were in the shop!!)

If you smoke ignore the cheap cigarettes - they are black market and won't do you any good. A good brand is Mars which costs roughly 80p a packet.

Watch out also for children giving you flowers and other people thrusting little camel's into your hands. They say present and then ask for a dinar.

We did quite a few excursions but unfortunately didn't have enough time to do the safari - next time definately. Out of the trips offered by First Choice we would definately recommend El Jem, Kairouan and Dougga.

We didn't go into Sousse at night time hence the low rating on entertainment.

Don't go to the English pub.It is a big pub with a large T.V screen and you and nothing else.

Beach very clean only deck chairs for this hotel but you can walk further along and pretend your staying at another hotel and use their sunlougers but you have to tip.

Watch out for beach walkers trying to sell you stuff once you say your English you cannot get rid.

Ask Taxi drivers how much Dinar before you get in. Don't pay more than 4 no matter what your destination.

Leaving on a good note the best thing about the holiday was the Cafe' Aladin ask your rep how to get here also right next to it is the 1 Dinar shop best part of Tunisa ask your rep how to get there watch out though they might charge you a fiver for this information.

Sousse as most of the main areas were was nice, but on a whole I don’t think Tunisia is ready for tourism. Half looks like a building site!

The beachs on the other hand are fab! clean and clear waters...really really nice.

Also the Medina is not to everyone’s taste...yes you can get a bargain but only if you know what you want...window shopping is not an option. Also do not under any circumstances try something on or accept something...that means you have agreed to buy it!

Also not for those who have weak stomachs for animals...outside of the hotels there are some very bad cases of animal cruelty.

Hated the area and spent a fortune on taxi fares going to the more lovlier Port El Kantoui (i think thats how you spell it!). It was dirty, glum and just nothing to do there whatsoever. Lucky we had a nice hotel to stay in!

I didn't feel safe leaving the hotel, which is probably why it is self contained. When you walk down the street people stop and look at you. The resort is aimed at French, German and British, but most of the locals make you feel unwelcome.

The whole place was hideous and I will never return to Tunisia
