Largest Rooms are in the newly refurbished rooms around the low 2000's. If you have mobility problems let reception know they will try to get you a room close to the bars/reception and no stairs to climb.

family entertainment stopped around 11.30 but there was a disco on the resort at the front of the hotels and away from most of the rooms.
great balance between touring about and relaxing on site.well worth going back.

The water park in Port el Kantauoi is a great day out for all ages, didn't get to the zoo but wished we had and the marina in Port was beautiful at night. Don't forget to go and see the huge fountain display on a night in the square at Port. Sousse is not as busy and yes you do get some locals asking you to buy stuff. A polite no suffices or don't make eye contact with them. My hubby got offered camels on a few occasions for me (don't know if thats a good thing or not)!!!! We had a meal out around the square(waiter dressed in cowboy hat) the meal was fab!!!

Tunisia is definately well worth the visit, after all you can only do spain so many times (or so we think). If your tempted to try something different, you will not be disappointed with Sousse & Port El Kantouai.

As i have mentioned we did not enjoy going out in the evenings. We understood people would try to sell us things but it was when they called us names and were being rude that we felt uncomfortable and didn't feel safe going out of the hotel. This made it a very long week for us and were looking forward to going home.

The actual resort was poor, there was nothing to see or do outwith our hotel. To shop or go out in the evening you had to get a taxi to El Kantoui or Sousse town. Taxi to either place cost 4 dinar (about £1.60) loads of yellow taxis always available.

Sousse itself is brilliant!! If you leave the hotel from the shopping centre and turn right and follow the street, after about ten minutes you will come into the main town centre. On the way you will see that the streets are clean and well swept. There are lots of little shops to look in; restaurants to eat in and there are cash points every two minutes. The shop owners will see you and say “come look in my shop”, but when you say ‘No thank you’ they just let you go. They really don’t give you any grief. Once you say no, they leave you alone. The Medina is good, but it can be very hot and claustrophobic once you get into the centre of it.

We visited Port El Kantoui, which is nice but really glad we didn’t stay there. It is nice, but a bit too quiet for us and it is a man made area around a port surprisingly enough!!

We did the Sahara Trip which was fantastic – only thing I will say is don’t take young children. It is roughly a 600 round mile trip and is well worth the money. You will have to pay an extra 20 dinars for the camel ride and the 4x4 trip into the mountains. TIP - When you get off coach to go on green horse and carts – take insect spray as you will be eaten alive!!

There is so much to say about the holiday and how great it was, if anyone has any questions I would be happy to help.

Nothing much outside the hotel other than taxi drivers waiting to grab you. We got a taxi to Port el Kantauoi, Sousse and Monastir a few times. The taxis don't cost much and it was light relief to eat at your own leisure.

We went quad biking which was fantastic, and only 10 minutes away from the hotel. The pirate boats were ok too. We also went on a speed boat ride at Port el Kantauoi which was well worth the money.

Sousse is a nice place to visit and we enjoyed eating in several different restaurants over there. The people on the streets are friendly and we felt safe at all times. The beaches are secure, clean and well maintained.
