Location
The apartments are very basic but clean, only 1 wardrobe per apartment and you have to buy you own toilet rolls. The staff are really friendly and make a fuss of everyone especially Ferit, Haluk and Memmet. The pool is a little deep no shallow end. The water slide was a great hit with my kids.
Plenty of eating places within a 5 min walk I would certainly recommend Elvis', Cousins and Castles. Dolmus stops right outside apartment and takes you right down to the beach for 1 Lira per person although we used to walk down most evenings and it only took 15 mins walking slowly.
I would definatly recommend the Jeep Safari and the Family Fun Cruise Trips.
We are pricing up our holiday for next year at the Cettia already.

Staff are extremely friendly, even Benji in his little gift shop next to the entrance - buy his aftershaves....they're very cheap, (you can get cheaper elsewhere but not as good in quality). Selcuk (night time reception) is a cool guy too!!
The poolside and bar staff are very helpful but sometimes a bit slow (but not a problem, it

The apartment was big with a double bed and a bed settee. the kitchen had a small stove, microwave and kettle, fridge.
It was cleaned every day and clean towels were brought every 2 days.
The reception staff were very helpful, and also the entertainment staff in the day time having activities to participate in if you wanted to. A brilliant water slide but only operational between certain times and a good bar next to the pool side. The hotel is very clean.

I would recomend a turkish bath and massage, as they are very good and at a resonable price. the entertainment left a little to be desired. the appartment staff spent most of the day in the bar, talking and every hour would play darts or pool.
It seemed that the evening entertianment was a liitle better but not much. The staff would entertain themselves untill 1.00am playing music whilst the guests were in bed.
My down side of the appartment area, was the expensive drinks at the bar and that they charged the children to play a free pool table(

The rooms facing the left side should be refused, ie 107, as your view is non existent, and smells from the pool kitchen will put you off the rooms.the rooms facing straight over the pool and to the main road are best. Infact before you book in check your room,I mean you have paid, and it does not state about the smell in the brochure does it.
Around the pool is great the kids love the slide but the tennis courts and football pitch are not what you see in the picture, its a bit run down, playable but run down.
Staff are plenty, infact to get a drink three pair of hands touch it,get used to it,its the way it is,but yes they are looking for tips.
Turkish night is a laugh, but dont think once you've paid its all in, because it aint, drinks are extra, and the belly dancer wants tips for dancing as does the breakdancer.
Staff are very friendly, overall if I was going back to Marmaris I would stay here, but its not as cheap as people say, hope this helps.

Poolside entertainment was brilliant. The entertainers' names were Ozzy, Gulen and Janet. We miss you guys. They were very down to earth and regularly did activities with the children so that the adults cold chill out by the pool.
Turkish nights on saturdays were also very good with with lovely food on offer. The manager was very kind. So all in all, our experience was a great one and we are planning on going again this year.

You could not ask for more.... hotel was clean, staff very friendly and familiar faces. Rooms were of great standard. Maid service too.
Location of the hotel is good too.
There is a slide on the pool and have entertainment throughout the day. So you are never bored. Music is played so you there is no need to bring your CD/MP3 player to the poolside.
There is a hairdressers within the hotel and beauty salon. I had a turkish bath and found it very invigorating. Must have a go, but make sure you do it the day or day after you arrive so that you get the perfect tan. Weather was fantastic.

The hotel could not have been cleaner and it was fantastic for our first visit to Turkey so we booked the Cettia apartments thinking it would be of the same quality and standard but what a let down that was!!!
We were allocated to an attic room number 511(steer clear of this room!)it suited my daughter fine as she is only small but adults beware if you are over a certain heigt you should be prepared to buy some headache tablets from the local chemist! We demanded a move and were put in room 309 which was an improvement apart from our diabolical view of an electric pylon directly in front of us and we could watch the new guests arriving to the hotel!
The staff were friendly enough but the receptionist was a little too friendly as she thought it appropriate to 'flirt' with my husband which was sumwhat entertaining at first but towards our second week was becoming just plain annoying! Benji the grumpy gift shop owner appeared nice at first but when he saw us coming back from a market with some turkish delight, seemed to be in a huff with us for not buying it from him!
Another cause for concern was the depth of the pool which I was suprised to find only had one depth which was very deep even for my daughter who is a strong swimmer. It is ok for sunbathing but watch out as some rather annoying pool staff attempt to pour water over you as you relax and when you walk around the pool attempt to throw you in which was quite dangerous for us as my husband wears a hearing aid.
The hotel is situated on a hill top but we enjoyed the walk and stroking the friedly hotel guard dog. The entertainment was as entertaining as sunburn but our only escape was to the fabulous Elvis bar.
I would not like to visit the apartments again however I would have no problem visiting the hotel again (you'd think they would both be to the same standard!)

The Hotel is spotless everywhere. Staff are very friendly are always pleased to help.
Location is ideal in Armutalan area. 15 mins walk from main streets but dolmus stops right outside - perfect. Hotel is at the top of a short but steep hill. Goods for the legs! Seriously it wasn't a problem even for folks with buggies. Good choice of restaurants/shops nearby.
We had 2 rooms on floor 4 at the front of the Hotel. Stunning views of mountains and Marmaris. Double bed and sofa bed (can sleep 4) and when fully occupied still loads of room. Adequate storage space. Minibar restocked daily. Smallish balcony which had a retractable clothes airer - fab! Very good quality furnishing and carpeted floor.
Breakfast buffet was quite good - no full English though! (Try Elvis, Sarah or Castle restaurants for a cheap brekkie) Lots of eggs, croissants, fruit etc and very filling. Snacks are available beside the pool and are a reasonable price.
Facilities are good with an onsite Turkish bath and spa centre. I highly recommended it and they even give little ones the works too - they will let you take a photo if you ask. My girls, 5 and 7 loved it.
Pool is spacious and has a giant bumpy waterslide opeating at certain times. Pool is quite deep even at the shallow end. There is a kids paddling pool with a mushroom water feature.
We also used the pool at the apartments which is very deep and has waterslide/flume also on at certain times. This pool is very deep but also has a separate kids paddling pool.
Entertainment at the Hotel is more geared up to guests from other european countries. The apartments however are all British guests and entertainment is very good. The Turkish night was well worth the money and didn't finish too late for the kids.
Kids club run by Thomas Cook is great. Sessions are 2 hours. 10am-midday or 4-6pm 6 days a week. Also evening clubs on Mon and Fri 7-8.30pm. Special late club on Wed from 7pm-midnight (
