The hotel was clean and comfortable.

The staff were polite although bar staff poured miserable measures would have expected better from supposed 4* hotel.

The food was awful, cold, tasteless in all honesty would not give food any rating at all.

Would I go back to Grand Cettia? no chance, and the entertainment was pathetic at best.

Pool area great for sunbathing, but gets VERY wet and slippery.

No communication between entertainment staff & managment.

After a 2 page complaint to Thomas Cook with regards to lack of entertainment due to no facilities as the main stage is outside and when it rains its all cancelled. Bar staff make you feel very uncomfortable when asking for drinks and stop serving all inclusive guests at about 2245 so no one can gather drinks.

The food was very bland and taste less but we started to eat out a lot.

There is a dolmus route direct outside the hotel but a steap hill to climb up and many steps. Lifts in the hotel don`t always work many got stuck while we were there. Room are cleaned on a daily basis and if the cleaners took over the rest of the hotel it would be outstanding.

Would not class it as a 4 star more like a 2 and a half.

Will not be returning..

The reception staff were friendly and always helpful.

Some of the bar staff were a bit miserable and rude. Room was cleaned daily which wasnt expected, but obviously appreiciated! Pool was good size, but couldnt actually get in it as we had rain for the whole 7 days!!

Entertainment was nil unless you wanted to join in and do kareoke every night and that didnt start until 10pm and there was nothing on up to the lead up of this!! Nothing for kids, our poor boy was bored senseless! However this could have been due to it being there out of season. In the town shops and bars were literally closing by the hour.

Great cafe/bistro over the road called Star Bux run by Adam and his staff. They helped make our holiday always helping with what to do and where to go when the weather was so poor! They even put x factor on for us on sky so we didnt miss the weekly eviction!!

Visit Benjis shop based on the complex, he is a lovely sweet guy and will sell you lots of bargains.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel, and this time was just as great as the first 2..the hotel sits up on a slope and stands proud and why not..you walk into reception and are met with the splendour of a majestic hotel, from here on in the stay is fantastic...staff have always been polite, friendly and have time to talk to you..when not manicly busy.

The hotel rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday.

Entertainment very good..yes this was end of season when I went so tourists numbers were dwindling daily yet the entertainment team did their best to entertain those left..obviously couldn't put on same size of show as in high season but then where does ??

This place is just a great hotel, staff are great, hotel is fantastic, food very good and a good choice (unless you expect a full English menu) remember you are in Turkey not Blackpool so you will get English and TURKISH dishes not just ENGLISH meals also it is an INTERNATIONAL HOTEL not just an English hotel, if thats what you want then look elsewhere as this hotel gets plenty of different nationalalities.

Overall I would rate hotel 9/10.... only reason not gets a 10 is no mini bar in room .....but hey who needs that...so 10/10 thats my rating.

This hotel is near enough to the town for nights out clubbing if thats what you want and yet far enough away to not be disturb by the bars and clubs of ''Bar-street''.

This hotel has a fantastic health club..massage's are out of this world.

The Management team will offer help in anyway they can if not happy...OYA the assistant manager speaks good English better than my Turkish..and understands our English problems... BAHAR was new yet very helpful...ENGIN is ''service'' manager as they call it..basiclly food and beverage he is very pleasant and helpful.

AYDIN is in charge of reception and will help at all times if something wrong with room etc...all in all this hotel is a great taste of Turkey and if you don't have a good stay here then you must expect a Blackpool B&B in Turkey.

Me and my family have just got back from the Grand Cettia hotel, the hotel is definatly 4* for cleanliness and the rooms are superb,but all the staff,from the cleaners to the waiters at the bar and the restaurant are very ignorant and they all go round with faces as long as a long boat.

The pools are very nice,although it is far to slippery around the pool.

Food was cold,and very bland.

The entertainment was rubbish,very repetitive,absolute garbage. And the outside bar had a strong smell of sewage when you stood waiting to be served,and thats another thing, I waited several times to get served at the outside bar when there were 2 waiters just stood the other side of the bar chatting,and ignoring me,it was so obvious they were told not to serve all inclusive customers quickly.
would I go again, NO CHANCE !!!!

Stayed in room 211 overlooking Starbux bar / restaurant.

Had a great time again, the room was good free tv, air con which was a godsend the poolside was great loads of bed chairs and lots of smiles and hellos from all the staff.

The 1st 10 days the bar and poolside were very quiet and I felt very sorry for the bar staff in the evenings especially as people were not returning there, us included, until more people went in the last few days.

The only problems we had was that the room cleaners were only coming in and replacing the towels and straigtening the beds and not brushing or mopping the rooms, after 8 days my wife complained at the reception, we really did not want to complain in case of reprisals but there was a lot of hair and food bits on the tiled floors. We would have done it ourselves had we had a brush, but the sink toilet and bath were also not being cleaned so we felt we had no alternative, they were cleaned after we complained.
There was also a sticky orange sweet on the balcony floor on the outside balcony which was still there on our departure after 2 weeks!

The only other complaint was when we asked if we could have a relacement carving knife (the one supplied was useless and blunt) to cut our bread, we were told bluntly 'No', we would have to buy our own.

What a terrible shame these people really let the apartments down, we were told by other guests of some cleaners (3rd floor) being great and doing a great job but other guests agreeing with our reports, we did also inform the TC rep and she took notes.

As I say we still had a great time and would definitely go there again and just hope they replace the cleaners who are letting the team down.

P.S We are not people that make a mess in our rooms expecting everything, we do straighten our sheets and towels etc.
We also felt guilty of not leaving a tip for the cleaners, as we always have done before but this would have been hypocritical to have done so.

After reading reviews on this site prior to our holiday, (I wished I looked before I booked!!) We were not expecting much apart from awful accomodation. We were pleasantly suprised - although I certainly would not give it a 4* rating it was a lovely place. The apartment was simple, but clean, quite spacious although lacking in wardrobe/drawer space. The kitchen area was adequate for our needs, tea, coffee, snacks etc but I would not have wanted to prepare a meal for four in it. The pool was clean and there were plently of sunbeds always available. The location is lovely also, just far enough out to be reasonably quiet but within easy reach of the town. The staff are all helpful and very friendly, excellent with kids. We would return to this area of Turkey and Cettia apartments. Admittedly it is a bit "cheap and cheerful" but we loved it!

The hotel staff were very polite and accommodating. Billy and Benji, very polite and helpful.

Our hotel room was smaller than we expected, but tidy and clean. Our only problem, is that we couldnt hire an iron.
We went self catering so had some meals at the pool area and some out. Great value!

We went to a few of the Hotel entertainment nights. So much fun!! You may get pulled up on stage and humiliated!! But its hilarious!

Me and my friend enjoyed it so much we will definitely return!! Entertainment 10/10 Bar staff 10/10. Complete charmers! But fun people.

Takes about 15-20mins to walk to town or get the bus outside for 1 lira(about 40p). A lot of hassle at shops but just say "No, thank you!" As we learnt to do.

We are looking to go back again as we had so much fun!

We stayed in self catering at the Cettia apartments, at first we didn't think it would be so small and basic and that it resembles more of a 2-3 star.

As there was just two of us and we wouldn't be spending much time in there anyway we didn't really care.

The apartment staff were very lovely especially Billy and Benji and his little Aladdin's cave!

The bar staff couldnt do enough for us we were never bored and nothing was ever trouble for them. They worked long hours and always smiling the best!

The entertainment was the best we had a blast getting up on stage and the best nights out Ive had!

The hotel is set on a hill about 20 minute walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and beach. A local bus service runs every few minutes all around the resort and is very cheap. You can stop it wherever you want to making getting around really easy. The food in the hotel is poor and although we went all inclusive after the second day we chose to eat out for every meal except breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable, although not very big, and the hotel is generally quiet. The pool is ok but the sun loungers are VERY uncomfortable and there aren't enough of them. Nightlife in the hotel stops very early on so if you like a late night drink and a chat don'tgo here. The staff at the hotel weren't the best I've ever encountered and were actually obstructive on occasion! Overall the hotel was probably the lowpoint of the holiday despite being 4 star.
