Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

This resort is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing break with everything close to hand. It is not really lively, instead is more relaxing and laid-back with some great restaurants, but Hisaronu just a 15 min ride away where there is a greater selection of lively bars. It is a very clean and tidy resort and the staff in all the hotels, restaurants and bars are very friendly.
The beach is pebbley so you need some shoes to wander up and down (and go into the sea if possible as this avoids you stumbling and falling over when you get out!) but the water is very clear and you dont get sand everywhere! The lagoon is a short walk away and has very still and clear water - beautiful.
Definitely do paragliding here - fantastic view and great experience - you get what you pay for with the companies and for this reason (although they are one of the most expensive) I would reccommend Sky Sports. Mud baths also worth taking a trip to, and get a dolmus to Fethiye market too. Great resort and would definitely go there again for a relaxing break either early in the year or in September again - go for it!

The resort was always fairly clean.
The beach sand was gritty and not comfy under foot.
The views from resort were great but pathways were very steep.

We have been to Turkey five times. Three to this area and it is wonderful. I can not wait to get back there this year, but not to the same hotel.

Hi to to all Lykia converts,we are back off to this great resort for our third time on 15th September 2005 less than 2 weeks away(cant wait).
This place is great food is amazing, fresh, the sweets(deserts)(puddings)are amazing, freshly cooked pizzas, fresh fish etc etc,the rooms are good the best rooms to go in are the family rooms,DO NOT BOOK GARDEN ROOMS, and if you travel with Thomas Cooks get them to ring customer services to verify the room you are in is not a garden room,THE GARDEN ROOMS ARE TERRIBLE.
We have booked the residence this year for a change. A word of advice all drinks are on a card system get the reception to check the card is empty on your arrival and make sure the room phone bill has been deleted from the previous guest. As we had drinks on our card we hadnt had and 2 phone calls to the room.
All we didnt use and we didnt pay for,my advice is check your card every 2 days and phone bill, also if you have kids watch out for the kids club saying your kids have made t shirts YOU GET CHARGED FOR THESE tell the kids club staff you dont want t shirts and reception.
There are 2 childrens restaurants, village restaurant (free)residence restaurant(free) Marina restaurant (free).then La Luna(Italian)* Mandarin(Chinese)* Sofra(Turkish)*Neptune(seafood)* These four have a reservation charge of about 4 euros but are worth it even if you only go once(we went to italian 4 times)the kids club is fantastic-opens 6-2 years 09.00-1200 15.00-1800 1930-2230(free)2-7 years 09.00-1830 1930-2230(free) 8-12 years 0900-1830 1930-2230(free)13-18 years 1100-2400(free)are you all still awake?
Archery is great and free, canoes are free, the childrens paradise is a paradise for children in itself and the free bus drops you outside the entrance, the resort is so big it has 2 buses.
19 tennis courts the list is endless, take beach shoes/aqua socks as it is a shingle/sand beach well Ill leave it there before you all nod off have a good time when you go and I hope I have been of help to you all all the best.

Olu Deniz is a lovely small town. The shops are all either jeans, shoes, bags or sunglasses - genuine fakes most of the time! The shop staff are great - enthusiastic but not overpowering at all, and we did pick up some great bargains! The restaurants are good - quite ordinary but good value and the food was good quality, and again the staff and service were excellent. The main street is very clean and the beach looked lovelly. You can sit on the promenade watching the world go by, but mind your head as the paragliders land on the pavement!!

Busy and diverse with a great beach with the coldest showers ever. Lots of water and airborne madness but be careful in the water it gets deep real quick - for a less active shoreline go on the free bus to soara beach in the lagoon and take a mask and snorkel and try the canoes to watch the kingfishers in the marsh area. Brilliant. Scenery to die for and no planes over your heads - but watch the parachutists at 15 landing per hour.

Olu Deniz is a fantastic resort it was very clean. I think for the first few days you feel a little intimerdated by the people who want you to buy things or go in their restaurants but after only a couple of days we began to have a laugh with them and it wasn't that bad.
Olu Deniz was a great place to get around where we stayed it was only about a 15 minute walk to the Blue Lagoon which was great and we managed to get beds straight away' It had loads of sea life and was great to watch with a snorkle.
The evenings there were slow and relaxed this is not the sort of place which would suit people who like entertainment everynight on their door step, but dolmus's go regularly up to Hisaronu where there is an amazing amount of bars restaurants which are very lively (this was nice because you can visit without it keeping you up all night)
We would definitely go there again!
