Pools: Are amazing from large, small, kiddes and slightly secluded pools the hotel has a pool for every kind of person with PLENTY of sunbeds, not once did we have a problem finding a space and most monings we wernt getting down till 10:30am.
Food: This had to be the best All Inclusive hotel i have been to in the EU with 3 ALA carte restaurants to choose from and the main buffet you need not get bored. I went with a picky eater and never seen her eat so much and my 2 year old son enjoyed every meal.
Rooms: We had a Kids Den room which was brillant!! these rooms come with playstation 2 and the Kids Clubs supply Games and DVDs free of charge you can change them as often or as little as you choose (we had a different movie nearly every night)
Staff: While we were there it was Ramina which is part of the muslim religion (Cant eat, drink or have sexual reltionship for 40 days) So they were probally not as friendly as the Turkish people usally are, but still found them to be hard working and were always polite.
Mosquitos: Have visited Turkey before 7 years ago and stayed in Bodrum, got bitten so badly i looked like i had chicken pox. So came well prepared and got bitten twice all holiday for me thats a good result.!! So dont belive that its just this resort it like any other holiday destination you go to.
And for the record it is not built on swamp land, on the transfer from the airport to the hotel you drive past swampland but it is about 1 mile away from the hotel.
I dont really have a bad word to say about the hotel if i had to make one complain it would be about the guests that stayed at this hotel, i have never met so many people that were moaning about nothing, the most silliest was one women complaining that her scoop of icecream wasnt big enough and that she had paid a lot of money for this hotel and the size of her scoop was just not satisfactury. PLEASE!! just eat it and get another one theres no limit.
Anybody going in the future should have a fantastic holiday, we loved it and hopefully will be going again in May. Xx

The swimming pools were fantastic and to have a choice of a noisy one with pool games or a more adult quieter one was great. The mattresses were like golddust. We were lucky enough to have been given 2 by guests leaving just 4 days into our holiday. This needs to be addressed as it classed in the brochures and the welcome pack as part of the all-inclusive.
Our maid was a lovely polite young lady who always had a smile. However, the rest of the staff, especially the bar staff, were the most miserable group of people you were ever likely to meet. Everything was such an effort. If you asked for a fresh drink, rather than one that had been sitting on the bar for half an hour with a free fly, they would give you a look of disgust - a stark contrast to the local people in the village where nothing was too much trouble.
Adam and I are not at all fussy when it come to food and after reading reports on this site we went with an open mind, however...
The food was bland, unimaginative and school canteen like at best. Jamie Oliver would have a field day. The leftovers were used for the next meal, coated in bland breadcrumbs or fried beyond all recognition. We knew it wouldn't be gourmet cuisine but something edible would have been nice. To be honest they took the **** with the amount of corners they cut. I have never seen tomato puree spread so thinly on a pizza it actually became on obsession to watch the miserable "chef" scrape a layer onto the dough. We were expecting the fruit to be nice and fresh at least however, this too looked like the cast off's at the end of market day.
We could go on but you get the picture...
With regards to the drinks it would have been nice to have had a pint glass/beaker to have prevented the walking back and forth all day. Also being told that they were not allowed to give soft drinks in the slightly larger beakers was somewhat annoying and totally inconsistent.
The location was remote but the village was nice enough and made a pleasant change, the road was adequately lit and it was a nice stroll. In a couple of years time I don't think you will recognise the place.
The beach was huge but dirty. There were loads of people tending the pretty grounds and if they took a small portion of that workforce and used it to clean the beach it would be infinitely improved.
We can't really comment on the entertainment, as we couldn't be bothered to walk the long hike to find out what was on. If there had been a map and an entertainment guide telling you what was going on on what night and at which location we might have taken the time. The shows in the ampitheatre looked good for the children though.
All in all a somewhat disappointing location to spend your honeymoon, although Turkey itself looked lovely and we enjoyed the day trips that we took (Shopping trip to Marmaris and an island cruise from Dalayan).
We understand that this is a new holiday village in it's earliest stages and there will hopefully be many improvements. We hope that First Choice takes note of the surveys and this will lead to changes. It could be a very nice place if a few areas are looked into.
Don't forget your mosquito repellent you will need it!!!!

Stayed in a select room which was cleaned everyday by the maid she even changed our little boys bedding to Disney bedding and every day arranged his blanket in a pretty patten on his bed.
The whole hotel was immaculate clean 24hrs a day.
Not much to do in Serigermie town but expected this as brouce stated that and with such a large hotel do not really need to go out lots of different bars and entertainment at night. But do take a pen for the quizzes as the reps constantly run out. Children's kids club is fantastic my little boy especially enjoyed the chocolate party mini disco was also fab for the kids.
Swimming pools very clean and always sun bed available.
All staff very friendly and helpful.
Food was a bit of a let down compared to the rest of the hotel but alway found something to fill your belly.
This would not stop us from returning to the hotel as there is so much to do that 1 week is not enough as we only mange one trip out to Fethiye market and would have liked to do other trips.
Only manged to visit the Italian restaurant food here was better than the buffet restaurant but as I said before you don't go hungry it's just that a lot of the hot food is fried.

Food
OK fair enough none of us went hungry but by the end of our stay my youngest son was starting to look like a chip. I have no complaints, the food was always hot and if your willing to try some of the local food its gorgeous but the second week was repetitive. Went to the Italian restaurant once and have to say was deeply disappointed. The service in this restaurant was appalling we sat waiting patiently for 45 mins for our waiter to even look at us. First course was nice but main course (spag bol) was served cold, watery and had no taste.
The Indian restaurant the food was superb, service was brilliant till the very end when one of our party was pulled by the sleeve to the tip box and a tip demanded. When he said he had no money on him the waiter swore at him in Turkish!!!!
Sun loungers we had no problems getting these as with the towels.

We had no bites from mosquitoes though many did.
Fantastic value for money.
Shame some of the guests did not treat the place or the staff with a bit more respect.
Would definitely go back and recommend to others. Best for families.

Rooms lovely - we stayed in Jacuzzi suite plenty of room for me, 9 year old and mum and dad.
Hotel and grounds very clean and always people about tidying, gardening etc
Food as people have said left a lot to be desired - usually luke warm - however didn't go hungry I usually ate from either salad bar, kids selection or even one night had a plate of chips (mind I am fussy and have a food allergy too) other part members not over fussed by food but hey we survived it! Indian restaurant was quite good and made a refreshing change - nice starters but didn't get much
Pools etc great - my son had a whale of a time
Kids club great for him too and he went to soccer school for 3 days which he absolutely adored - cheers to G the coach who was a star!
Didn't really see that much entertainment as we either stayed at pool bar or beach bar (the latter usually had a quiz on followed by karaoke - which after a few gins was a laugh to watch - never had enough gins to partake tho)
Visit to Dalaman mud baths was a great day out - had a chuckle when my mum who detests even getting her hair wet in the pool slipped right under (am I wicked?)lovely man who was the guide on the tour was very informative - well worth the 20 quid for a full day out
Hope they get food sorted as this really lets the side down - prob wouldn't return (but my son said he would!)
Have fun and make the most of it if you do - I did hear that after this season ends next week they are changing the catering contract???!!! - So next year we may be hearing some great reports.

We went to the kids mini disco which was super and great for all ages, also to a race night/ kareoke/ quiz and show nights. Grease was a good night, reps try hard and sing their hearts out. The first week we went to the beach party and had a geat time in all the foam and watching fireworks but got rather wet and a bit cold so the second week we went prepared and took towels and a change of clothes, this was an excellent night.
My daughter also went to the creche which she enjoyed and staff were great.
We ate in the Italian twice and found this refreshing to not have to go around the buffet, however never went to the Indian as a fixed menu and only Korma. The main restaurants had a huge variety of options and yes often not hot, but again its the holidaymakers leaving lids off not the staff. The food did get repetitive by the second week and we ate in Sarigerme one evening for a change. But there was always something and we often went to the restaurant at 11pm for a bedtime snack. During the daytime food was available near the pools and fruit always available as well.
The pools, everybody seems to have agreed that these are excellent. We went in about 7 different pools and all were very clean (cleaned nightly) slides super. Depending which pool you went to as to whether they were large or small but catered for a 2,9 and 11 year old. Some parents were letting their children climb back up slides when they were closed but signs were then placed onto them.
We went on a boat trip to the mud baths and Turtle beach which we booked in Sarigerme, all had a good day.
All in all after reading reports I was totally stressed before going and even went to the holiday company to express concern.
However had the best holiday ever and the only thing that annoyed me was others forcing their moans onto me, asking if I was having a good time, then saying well if this is what your used to then OK. I have a 2 year old and would not have stayed for 2 weeks anywere that posed a risk to her.

Beach was a bit rubbish but with all the swimming pools, it didn't make a difference.
I thought the food was fantastic for a European All Inclusive, plenty of fresh salads, the bread was so nice i was hooked!! Chips, Fajitas, Burgers, Chicken, Beef, Shepherds Pie, Lasagna (veggie and meat) Loads of choice.
The Ala carte restaurants were really nice, the Italian was great...Really nice Pizzas! The Indian was even better.
The kids facilities are the best i have ever seen - I would highly recommend it to families.
FirstChoice were fantastic! Well done on a fab hotel!!

The hotel staff were always cleaning and tidying up, the food was great, the kids loved the pancakes. All inclusive drinks were great, we didn't feel the need to pay for anything else that was on offer.
The pools at both the palace and the tropical were the best I've ever seen, water slides were great fun at the palace and the ones at the tropical were even better, especially for the older kids.
The water in the pools was tested regularly by the hotel technician and no problems with ear infections on this holiday for a change! First choice kids clubs were great, my kids did archery, inflatable canoes, high ropes, french boules, sea scooters and many more games which I can't remember.
My 2 boys also did 4 days at the soccer school which they loved. We went to 2 of the beach parties which they hold on a thursday night including lasers, fireworks, foam and a good singer.
Night time entertainment was great too, there was always something to watch after the mini disco. You can use both hotels for food, drink and entertainment. I liked the turkish entertainment team, they were very friendly and funny. The sauna, steam room, indoor pool and gym are excellent, very, very clean and well fitted out. Also had a go at ten pin bowling at the hotel.

We have visited numerous holiday locations over the last 5 years and never had such an experience. The hotel itself was immaculately clean including the room and the maid service excellant.
The pools were also of a high standard but unfortunately this is all I can give a positive reflection on.
Regards the food, I can honestly say I have never had to eat such diabolical pig slop in all my life...Lack of choice, constant junk food, luke warm and food on the counter regularly crawling with flies!!! I very rarely moan and have had to eat all sorts of food especially being in the forces but this was terrible.
The most annoying thing was I knew from past experiences in Turkey how cheap it is to eat out and we found this was the case in the local village of Sarigerme where it cost less than
