Just arrived home had a fantastic holiday.

Cant believe all the bad reports its a great place for what you pay. Some people want the Ritz for next to nothing stop moaning and have a good time your on holiday. The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff are working hard all day they never stop working.

The only fault we had with the meals is that they weren't always hot but you can wait for fresh food to be cooked as it is all cooked in front of you. the reasons for the food going cold is because people don't shut the lids after taking their food, you can heat it up in the microwave if you wish for your food to be piping hot.

The desserts are lovely you'll find yourself going up for 2nd or 3rd helpings. there is plenty of fresh fruit to choose from aswell. there are many different sorts of bread and rolls to choose from and these are all very nice too. you can have as many icecreams as you want during the day between 10am and 5pm at the beach bar, the pistachio one was our favourite.

You have got two ladys making fresh pancakes all day they are really nice, you will find these scattered around the complex they are never in one place all the time. you have to pay for icecreams on sticks, popcorn, waffles and candyfloss but these aren't too expensive. The shops on the complex ars quite expensive but where arent they?

The swimming pools are brilliant we haven't seen pools as good as these before but we did find that they were cold but you can't moan going in October.

All the garden areas around the hotel are immaculate and when all the plants have grown it will look beautiful there are water fountains they look lovely lit up in the evenings.

The kids clubs are brilliant and all the children enjoyed them. There are various sessions that they may attend and they can go to every session if they wish to these are all free of charge. The times are as followed; 10am-11.30, 12.00-1.30, 2.30-4.00, 4.30-6.00pm. They also do one in the evening from 9pm-11pm.

The beach is a bit shabby but if you walk along the beach to the right up towards the german hotel there is a lovely beach.

Make sure yon do the mudbath trip its a right laugh and the rep was really nice and informative.
we really a good time, and if you go with an open mind I am sure you will to.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!

Just got back from the palace, and have to say glad to be home. can't find fault with the actual hotel, the place was spotless, inside and out. the pools were great with plenty to choose from. however it was nearly impossible to get hold of a mattress to put on the sun loungers, (apparently this should be sorted for next season).
FOOD:- although not entirely to our taste, the food was plentiful and you could always find something you liked. We never had a problem with long queues for drinks, maybe five mins at peak times.
LOCATION:-a real let down. we felt penned in as it was just so far from anywhere. There is a massive problem with mosquito's,no matter what sprays or bands you used you were still attacked, although they did seem to stay away from kids.
HOTEL STAFF:-Mostly pleasant, although looked hacked off at times, as you would be constantly serving people all day.
ENTERTAINMENT:-Kids clubs great, had five sessions a day! Mini disco a hit with the kids although you really had to have a kids mind to find some things funny, quite often we cringed, but then it's not aimed at us. Saw the production of Wizard of Oz- very good, and the turkish version of snow white-hilarious. A lot of the entertainment was on quite late, so having kids we missed a lot of it.

Although it is a lovely place, we will not return as it is far too big a complex for us and impersonal. The location is awful and of course the murderous mossies-don't even go there!

Those on the night flights, you have to be out of your room at 12pm, or you can pay

We were a bit apprehensive before going to this hotel as of all the bad publicity it had recieved. we were on the verge of changing but i'm very glad to say we didn't.

For me this was the best holiday we have been on.
the hotel is kept spotless.

Endless staff all around the complex. from cleaners to gardeners working in the sweltering heat.

The hotel food was not a problem for us. There were so many things to eat. We ate at the Indian 2 times and the Italian 2 times, never a problem getting in.

We were even alllowed to book 3 days in advance for the indian as it was my sons birthday. you can order birthday cakes at the reception they were

We have just arrived home and I am so so glad to be home.

This has to be the worst holiday of my life. If like me you like nice food, drink and customer service then this isn't the hotel for you. On the other hand if you have a few kids that you want to put in the kids club all day then this may be your ideal holiday.

I have never tasted such bad food it was all fried tastless horrible canteen food that was cold. The first night we arrived it was liver and onions and chips! We didn't eat that night.

The tables were dirty and you had to clean them yourself before you sat down to eat. There was only one bar staff so queues were long and people were getting two drinks to avoid the queue making the queue longer. Staff didn't seem to respond to queues and there may be three glass collecting!

Childrens entertainment was good. The pools were fantastic but I come on holiday for nice food and drink and it's so poor. It really is like a school canteen. No nice carvery or seafood, cheap frozen fried junk!

I have been to 6 AI hotels and this isn't 4* it is let down by the food and drink and customer service which is 2*.

I made some requests which I am still waiting for! A second chair on the balcony and we had to ask 5 times for safety deposit box to be opened before it was done. They seen to have a tip box where ever you look.

Mozzies are not too bad but take loads of mozzie stuff. Take loads of snacks for the kids as the shop isn't cheap.

I will never go back to this complex way to big.

Be warned if you like nice food beware! Also we have all had upset stomach.

Take

Pegasus Tropical very large, clean beautiful hotel with lots happening all around.

The food was plenty and edible it could have been warmer at times but there was a microwave that you could use if you needed it. (Don't forget that it is a large complex with lots of people to feed).

There were a few small queues at breakfast for toast but hey tell me a hotel where you get a decent toaster. Don't take your eyes off your plate though or it will be whipped off for cleaning before you even start it, this happened to us on quite a few occasions, but hey you can always go and get some more. We have done two weeks and haven't lost any weight.

The outside bars serve the drinks in plastic cups which although doesn't look too good is a health and safety matter, nobody wants cut feet off broken glass thrown down or left on the floor by anyone. Whiskey is not included in the all inclusive bars.

The hotel also provides clean beach towels for poolside etc. You get these from the little hut by the main pool idea being you use them then they are collected up in the evening washed and returned to the hut for use on the following day. Although you do get guests taking them back to their rooms and getting clean ones the following day leaving the previous days towels out of use. There are also cushions for sunbeds, (bearing in mind they can't store thousands of them )don't really know what you need to do to get one of these as selfish people take them to their rooms so that they have them for he full duration of their holiday and no-one else gets a sniff in.

The location of the hotel is quite remote but the small town of Sarigerme is only 15 mins walk away and there are taxis waiting to take you at all times for 5 lira.

The hotel staff are lovely and they do work hard and long hours some even doing more than one job. The First Choice team are brilliant they will have a do at anything and always with a smile, bearing in mind that it is almost season over for them.

We will visit this hotel again perhaps in a few years time as we like to try out different places.

We have just arrived back after a week at Pegasus Palace. It was a last minute deal only booked 3 weeks previously. We have had at least five holidays in Turkey which we have always enjoyed.

Food this was ok but nothing spectacular the buffet restaurant was just a free for all with kids running riot. The food was ok but was mainly fried and very little was Turkish. Why go abroad if you want to eat English food? The themed restaurants were ok but were very difficult to get booked into, but when you did go they were never full. We have stayed all inclusive before both First Choice and the evening meals were buffet service but you were given a table on your first night and that was yours for the duration of your holiday.

Children had a separate sitting at these hotels and then went to kids clubs to allow the adults to eat in peace.

The Zeytin was excellent but was really expensive compared to the local town. it was billed as a fish restaurant but had very little choice of fish it was mainly steaks.

The hotel was very clean the staff were always on the go the maid we had was excellent and always tried to make conversation in very broken English. She made our bed up using towels to make hearts decorated with flowers.

The staff around the bars and in the restaurants were a bit miserable on the first day but if you are friendly with them and say please and thank you they soon change towards you. By the middle of the week the staff at the pool bar in the evenings knew what we liked to drink the measures seemed to get bigger as the week went on.

We only wanted a late break so we were not bothered a bout the location, however we visited the local town and found the people to be very friendly and hospitable this was the real turkey we remembered.

The accommodation we had was excellent we had a jacuzzi suite which was very impressive. With a bathroom bedroom and lounge. The only draw back was the key card once taken from the slot turned the electricity off, not very good for the fridge. you could get a second card for 10euro deposit (refundable)

There was a lot of entertainment both day and night but we spent most nights at the pool bar listening to the duo which were really good, having a good time and making new friends.

Our overall impression of Pegasus Palace is Butlins in the sun, with English food. It was a bit too big for us but the thing that spoilt it the most apart from the mozzies was the attitude of some of the other guests, often being rude to staff and allowing their children to run riot. It made us ashamed to be British.

All in all we had a good break but would never return. A lot of people we met were on there first visit to Turkey and I hope they haven't been put off. One of the locals in the town said this hotel could be one of the best in Turkey within 5 years if the mistakes made in the first season were addressed I hope he is right.

Just arrived back from a fantastic holiday. Was a bit worried after reading some of the reports but we had a great time.
On arrival we asked the first choice rep directions to our room on which he asked if we were honeymooners as we were in a honey moon suite.
We got to our room and got a lovely surprise. We had booked a jacuzzi suite and the room had a huge kingsize bed(with a duvet) and lovely big corner jacuzzi bath. We also had a en-suite toilet and showere as well as the normal bathroom.
Room was kept spotless by the maids. They were scrubbing the bathroom floor every day. Clean towels everyday and fresh bedding 3 times in a fortnight.

Food was great, plenty of choice at every meal. We ate in the main restaurant most nights but went to the indian twice. The staff at the indian restaurant were great with our kids who are 17 months old and 3.
We also tried the italian at the palace which was ok but service was really slow so we left before dessert arrived!!
Never had any problems with cold/luke warm food in the main restaurant, everything we had was hot and we tried most things. The only thing we needed to use the microwave that everyone talks about for was to heat our sons bottle of milk for bed!!!

Kids clubs were great, our little boy used to ask to go to his "nursery" as he enjoyed it so much. He loved the chocolate party which was on a Saturday night. His favourite rep was Emma and he was always asking if she was going to be there. She was great with the kids.

The only thing that spoilt this holiday was other holiday makers being rude and complaining.
We witnessed one man shouting at the beach bar as they had run out of cornets and closed the ice cream counter but his son wanted one. It was about 4.30(closed at 5) and he was shouting"He wants ice cream, give him ice cream NOW." I felt really sorry for the woman and he really showed himself up as everyone was watching him but he just continued ranting on at her until she got some plastic cups for the ice cream. He was a total disgrace.

The only other problem we had was getting pool towels as they are gone as quickly as they are put out. If you are going then make sure you take beach towels as we only managed to get them once in a fortnight.

Anyone going will have a fantastic time and we will definitely be returning in the future.

The all inclusive description of this hotel is not accurate, as many things are extra. The drinks that are a/i are tea, regular coffee, tang, fizzy,(coke, sprite, orange) effes, gin, vodka and brandy. This is only until 12am if you want tea of coffee after 12pm you have to pay.

The food is not 4* more like 2*, not hot. The Italian and Indian restaurants are good for a change, being waited on is lovely, but the food was microwaved after we complained it was cold and the drinks service in the Italian very slow. However the Zentyn restaurant food was piping hot, which made us realise how cold the other food was, service excellent, but be warned all drinks are extra here, even beer.

The cleanliness of the hotel was very poor look at the table mats and see how dirty they really are and the tables wiped with napkins not a wet soapy cloth.

The pool bar toilets cleaned when the cleaner was not sat asleep on the bin in the corner, or having a cigarette. They really were smelly.

Staff, we were polite at all times and did have good bar service, but the drinks are better the more you tip, And tip boxes are everywhere so you need change at all times.

The entertainment was fair. The Turkish entertainment better, but even though many people complained that the idea of having the shows outside in the evenings was silly due to the very cold weather, First Choice refused to bring them into the huge conference rooms, as moving the sound system was a lot of hassle. Consequently on the last few shows the audience was empty, and the indoor bar areas packed, however they did bring the singing duo inside to the lobby, which made for chaos, on a grand scale.

The kids clubs are brilliant, but if you are staying in the Palace you have a 10 minute walk to the Tropical to the club house, and the times of all the clubs run the same, so if your a single parent, be warned as you cannot be in two places a once.

Just arrived back from this holiday, and I can say I am extremely glad to be back.

On 1st impressions this hotel looks 1st class, but scratch the surface and the cracks appear.

My husband, me and our 2 kids had a kids den room, which was great nice and roomy with bunk beds & Play-station 2. My Mum and Dad had booked a select room with Jacuzzi which included express check in. Mum and Dad were the last guests to be checked in as their room wasn't available so hotel had to clean another one!!!!

The food is the worst I have ever had and is certainly not 4*. We have travelled to Turkey twice before and the Turkish cuisine is outstanding. The food at this hotel was cold and the presentation is poor. The restaurant is like a canteen and gets very busy, be prepared to change your own tablecloths and set your own table. After 1 week, we decided to eat out in Serigerme can highly recommend the Paradise the food here is fantastic, you can get Fish, Steaks,Chicken dish's and kebabs (highly recommended) for around
