We had a fantastic holiday from 29th Aug to 12th Sept.

Our age ranges were 2-60 and we all said we had a ball.

Cleanliness - Could not fault this - always staff collecting glasses picking up rubbish and fresh towels etc everyday.

Food - Hot and Tasty. It was repeated sometimes over the 14 nights but break this up by going over to the Tropical for a change of scenery or to one of the three al a carte restaurants. Indian was very nice. Turkish was good. Italian was also good and the pizza's were beautiful. You can go to these 3 times each per week if you wish for free.

Location - Near a small town were the locals are very friendly. Some nice little bars and The Dolphin shows the England Games if your keen to watch. The beach is yet to be developed but the reps told us this will be completed by start of season next year. Its

Arrived at PP at about 2.30am after a faultless flight, airport check in and hotel transfer. Initial reaction was WOW!

No problem checking in at, cases delivered by bell boy with no problems, key wouldn't work in room so he took it straight back to reception for us and got it sorted (a small tip was given and appreciated).

The hotel room was spotless, and kept spotless the whole two weeks, my six year old would race to the room at the end of the day to see what "surprises" the housekeeper had left for us.

We had the same housekeeper the whole of our stay and she worked very hard and to a very high standard (we tipped her twice during our stay and again it was greatly appreciated).

The wall mirror had a crack running through it and could have been dangereous, we reported it twice to reception and once to reps, reps posted a card through a few hours later saying if mirror hadn't been sorted to contact them again, but the housekeeper came and took the mirror away. We had a ground floor family room (4002) which looked out on to waste land and initially I was going to ask to move but it was a lovely quiet spot and we couldn't use the balcony due to mossies so it seemed pointless.

There are no drawers in the rooms which is a bit odd and annoying. We used the safe until we were told someone had their safe into to and jewellery stolen. The furniture in the room reminded me of Ikea, not particularly good quality.

The grounds are beautiful and the gardeners work practically 24 hours per day. Next summer it will look amazing, provided guests use the foot paths and not the flower beds.

The swimming pools were fantastic, I went prepared with ear drops but I am glad t say they were not required, in factr didn't come across anyone who'd had an ear infection.

The water slides are great, whoever I would be very careful off the white one in teh Tropical site, the way some guests came down that slide it's a wonder no one was seriously hurt.

We prefered the slides and pools at the Palace site, but the life guard was a disgrace, he just sat on his chair either eating or texting totally ignoring the swimmers, a lot of whom were children who's parents had relaxed a bit due to there being a life guard on duty, a guest had to swim over to a young lad who was having difficulties and fish him out of the water right under the life guards nose!!

There also needs to be stricter control on the use of the slides as sometimes 6 0r 7 people coming down at one time! We never once had problems finding sun beds, and we didn't get down to the poolside until at least 11 o'clock most days. We even once managed to use a sun bed cushion and on several occasions managed to get towels

The food was not half a bad as expected. Yes it did get repetative but this happens on any two week holiday. We were able to secure tables with out any problem, then get our meals and drinks.

The downstairs restaurant was more like a works canteen and could get very noisy. Flies were a problem, one night the counter in the downstairs one was covered in flies, we ate out that night.

The a la carte restaurants were lovely, our favourite was the indian, I wasn't too keen on the turkish one as it wasn't to my liking but my husband enjoyed it, the Italian was ok, but it felt a bit rushed and as it was outside my husband got bitten a few times, so we only used that once.

We had no problem reserving places at any of them and did not have to queue at anytime. We always managed to find something to our liking at every mealtime and it was always hot.

The children's clubs were amazing my daughter used them on average twice a day. The reps really went out of their way to get to know the children and provided a variety of fun and interesting activities each session, I have never been to a hotel before that provides a kids club from 9.00pm - 11.00pm. She used this one a few times and loved it.

The kids disco was not the best we've used but apart from that they were faultless. The cinema was open every evening and showed a relatively up to date movie.

The games room was a bit "hairy" at times thanks to a few mindless teenage individuals who were hell bent on spoiling everyones fun. They were massive pains in the bum and their parents were no better, as long as their kids were out of their faces they didn't give a damn what they were doing. Nice parenting!!

Beach not as advertised in brochure and the current is very strong, did not let daughter swim in sea. Went to the beach party briefly and this looked as if it would have been good fun.

Did the Dalyan trip to the mud baths and this was fantastic, a full day out with a meal included,

Commenced our holiday on Monday 5 September and departed on Friday 9 September - what does that tell you?

In order to retain our sanity we paid for transfers to Icmeler, accomodation and all of our food and drink for the remaining 10 days of our holiday. We had no assistance whatsoever from First Choice. There attitude was 'its your choice'.

We would hate for anyone to be in the position we found ourselves in so please think very seriously before considering this complex.

The hotel cannot be faulted on cleanliness, there are numerous pools for children and also quieter pools for adults. But because it is a family orientated complex you will not be able to avoid families all of the time.

The hotel was not for us we had thought we were booking a 4* hotel and it was not.

The food: Breakfast ok, Evening meal: There was plenty of food if you were happy to accept 'fast food', there was no supervision or dress code in any of the restaurants so consequently you had children running all over the place whilst trying to put food on your plate. Very dangerous, I am sure if one of those children had of been scalded then the parents would of had something to say.

It is a family complex and not for couples unless you like being in a 'Glorified Butlins'scenario.

Never again would we visit this hotel.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff always looking for tips. Location poor, 20 minute walk to Sarigerme or 5 lira by taxi.

Food poisoning from theme resturants, and the same at the buffet, hot food was luke warm, we kept telling reps about meals.

The swimming pools nice and big,but not clean human waste found in couple of pools.

Its like a Butlins in the sun with crap food, we did not need to take lira, just pounds or euros.

Tom watches you buy at hotel, the reps tell you, you can use to buy goods at hotel, all you can buy is icecream or branded drink.

Just back from Pegasus Tropical on 23rd Sept., and we had a great holiday. I had some concerns before arrival but they were soon dispelled.

Turkey in general has to be one of the cleanest countries I have ever visited, and I could not fault the hotel on their standards of cleanliness. The maids work very hard and deserve whatever praise they get.

As far as the food is concerned, yes it is repetative after a week or so, but there was always something I liked. Food was usually hot enough, they are cooking beside the buffet all the time so you can ask for a freshly cooked item if the trays aren't hot enough. The themed Restaurants are OK. Turkish was OK. Indian was enjoyable but a Turkish take on Indian. Italian was very disappointing, it had just been moved to the Palace and quite frankly was very poor standard. We left after tasting the Lasagne, but we may just have caught them on a bad night.

This was my first trip to a hotel that is AI, and I am not sure I would choose AI again. For me, one of the pleasures of a holiday is eating out in the evening, having a leisurely meal and a drink. It does feel a bit rushed and hectic at meal times, especially with young childrem being allowed to run around shrieking.

It has all been said before about the location of the hotel, but if you read the brochure that is obvious before you book.

I found the main pools a little noisy during the day so used the pools by the Palace jacuzzi suites which were much more relaxing. One thing I did notice around the main pool was a number of people taking 3 or more hotel pool towels each. No wonder there's a shortage!

Hotel staff were always polite and helpful. Only problems were the door key not working on the second day or on the last day after midday although I had booked for late room departure. The last day it took 2 trips to get it working which was a bit of a pain.

Didn't really bother with the Entertainment in the main part of the complex, but did listen to the live music in the Fishermans bar by the beach which was good.

Mossies weren't a problem for us, although I did get a couple of bites the last day (after the hotel had it's routine spray) but I hadn't applied my own spray as thoroughly during the day.

We took the 2 day trip to Ephesus and Pamukkale which was excellent, apart from the visit to the carpet Centre which was all hard sell after the demo. Market trip to Fethiye was good, but I could have done without the visit to the Gold Centre and would like to have spent more time in the old part of the town by the Leather Centre, which was much more to my taste. Mud baths in Dalyan were great, thoroughly enjoyable day. On the whole the guides that accompany the trips are very knowledgable and I learnt something new about Turkey from each one's commentary.

The one thing that could have spoiled the holiday for me was other guests behaviour in the hotel complex. It's very much "I'm alright Jack!" with no thought for how their actions, or their childrens actions, affect other people. Shame the hotel doesn't offer a "School" to teach consideration for others.

I would like to see the hotel again in couple of years time when the grounds are established, but I don't think I would stay there again. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself, I think it is excellent for families. I am not sure I want to go to an AI Family Hotel again.

Well we must have stayed in a different resort to most of the people on this site- we returned on the 19th Sept and would have booked to go back the very next day (we had already booked next years holiday but have enquired about the year after!!).

This holiday village is superb theres something for everyone, we arrived at 4.30am in the morning and were in our room with cases by 4.45am - we had a small problem with the room (I turned off the light and the fuse blew) and within 15 minutes this was sorted - no complaints there!!

We opened our balcony door to a view that can only be described as mind blowing - we overlooked the main pool with its waterslides and on checking out the view in the daylight had mountains in the distance and a sea view thrown in for good measure (we hadnt paid for one).

The place is enormous and has bars and snack bars dotted around - if you cant find something to eat that you like then theres something seriously wrong. We visited the Indian and the Italian - the Italian was fabulous - food excellent and service great, as was the Indian however they were a bit sparce with the servings but hey with a restaurant thats open 20 hours in a day why worry - just go for a midnight snack afterwards!! Yup the restaurant closed between 3 in the morning and 7 apart from that there was always somewhere you could get a snack.

The pool in the lobby was open 24hours - alhough the all inc finshed at midnight. We didnt bother with the tom watch its for silly luxuries like popcorn and candyfloss oh and the orange on a morning. We went for the tang which as long as you hit it right was lovely - if you watched how they made it they had to add water then a big packet of flavouring - think some people on this site obviously got theirs drinks inbetween the two stages!!!

There was a separate section on a morning for babies and always a childrens section for meals, the desserts were excellent and the choice unbelievable. Like previous reports have stated the kitchens are open and theres chefs cooking in front of you - so if the food in the trays wasn't hot (which was only down to other holiday makes ignorance by leaving the lids off) then get a fresh one - we heard complaints about chips everynight - they are trying to cater for british holiday makers and unfortunatley England is associated with - chips!!

Tell you what though the chips were being ate everynight and it wasn't because there was nothing else there was always 3 potato choices as well as rice etc. Only complaint I have about the food was that too much of it looked too nice and we ate too much- ha.

The cleaners in the hotel are like an army of bees - the place is spotless. We had a bit of rough weather one day when we were there (caught the tail end of a hurricane that was sweeping the med) the hotel got hit pretty bad and there was stuff flying around, covers off shaded areas etc by the Saturday afternoon you wouldn't have thought anything had happened the place was immaculate.

Our room was huge easy sleep 5 people in - certainly the biggest room we have ever had. Again kept very clean on a daily basis. The Safety deposit box in your room is also free - which we found very unusual if you had a key box you paid a small deposit which was refunded on handover of the key - ours was digital - we rung reception for someone to come and open it (you have to get the code reset 1st time you use it) and within 5 minutes someone was there!!!

The entertainment was great - both the first choice reps and the hotel staff really tried to make everyone happy.

We watched Grease performed by the reps and just laughed from start to finish - we were sitting beside someone who complained it wasn't like the west end show!!! I dont know how I kept my mouth shut - for goodness sake it was supposed to be fun. The hotel team put on a Miss pegasus show - which literally had us in tears with laughing so much. There was stuff going on round the pool all day and they left you alone if you didnt want to join in - didnt pester you at all.

Dino the first choice rep is fab. As is Nick. Cat the swim kids rep certainly works for her money she is in that pool all day teaching from very young kids to an old lady that had no confidence in the water - by the end of the week she was in the middle of the pool swimming!! She was very patient with everyone and had an excellent attitude towards everyone.

The shops in the hotel we found weren't to bad we got a leather jacket for my son which in this country is approx 80 quid for 30 in the hotel - they wanted 35 in marmaris.

We did the Marmaris trip and had an excellent guide (Jesus) however we did stop at the gold centre for what was far to long in my opinion and would have rather have spent the time in marmaris itself - however we were supposed to visit the carpet place and he asked if anyone was interested - when we said no he just took us straight to the Bazzar - we got some bargains here but they do hassle you and I personally found that they were a bit harder to barter with than the last time we visited.

One shop we got 5 lacoste polos for a tenner - would you dare try to haggle with that!!!

All in all the Holiday Village is fantastic and I think whilst there was some genuine issues when the place first opened that they have worked very hard on sorting them out.

Stupid complaints like - theres no cocktails on the all inc - make your own then, you could go to the bar and get as many drinks as you liked at one time - some all inc hotels are one drink one person - not this one we were getting two each when the shows were on so we had longer in between bar trips.

The one thing I do agree with is another review on this site that says pity there isn't a school on site - some people were just letting their kids run riot and spoiling things for others.

At quiet times on the bar the barmen were pulling pints and leaving them on the bar ready for people to come and take - however teenagers were pinching them and we all know what happens when they have a beer - they can take on the world!! Again I blame the parents - I certianly knew where my son was all the time!!!

One kid was walking up the water slides whilst they were turned off with a few of her friends (even though the management threatened to throw people out the hotel if they were caught - personally I think this threat should have been carried out) she fell whilst quite high up and knocked everyone else down-tears came and she limped off to blame the slides for her misfortune -well they do tell you to stay away for a reason!!!

The slides whilst on were great my son and Husband thoroughly enjoyed them - they were on for 4 hours a day which was enough and yes of course the pool got a bit rowdy during this time - but if you didnt like it there was another 12 to choose from!!! On a night the place looked magical all lit up with waterfalls etc, we had a beach party one night with fireworks and a bonfire and limbo dancing.

After reading the reports on here Ive got to admit, we were apprehensive to say the least, so heres my views.

HOTEL: brilliant, very clean, hotel staff very friendly if treated with the same respect, cleaniliness 2nd to none.

FOOD: Yes its repetetive but with so much choice is has to be, I found the food very good, something for everyone.

POOLS: amazing to say the least.

ENTERTAINMENT: this I did find boring in the evening, the reps did there best but the Turkish "sleeping beauty" brilliant !!

This is a fantastic holiday, most people were moaning about the food which had me wondering what do they usually eat as you have the choice of...pasta, rice, chips, jacket spuds, roasted, mash, all kinds of meat....some people will moan about anything, I would reccomend it for families but the entertainment in the evening let it down for us.

We stayed at the Pegasos Palace from the 8th September for 2 weeks and all I can say is what a fab place this is. It has something for everyone.

Hotel:
Very large with lots of different bars and places to sit and have a coffee, our favourite was the roof bar by the reception.
Grounds were immaculate and very well maintained, people working all day.
Shops were of good variety but pricy but the guys in the mini market were v friendly.

Rooms:
We had a jacuzzi suite which was great, very big and spacious, A little dissapointed that the bath was just a normal size bath with jets but still nice. cleaned daily.

Pools:
Fantastic!! our favourite was the quieter pool at the back of the jacuzzi suites but the large ones looked great for the kids

Beach:
Personally I really liked the beach and I think it would be ruined by putting "golden Sand" on top of the raw black sand.

Food:
Could do with being a little warmer but I still ate it (and lots of it) I loved the real Doner kebabs!!

Staff:
We always found them very polite and always had a smile, if you smiled at them.

Entertainment:

Was a laugh, dont expect broadway but the reps are trying hard and they also bring acts from the UK to perform, the Tom Jones guy was great

The biggest thing I want to praise the hotel for is that when we were there we had a Mini Hurricane which blew all the sunbeds all over the place and took lots of the thatching on the roof and it all ended up in the pools but the place was cleaned and sorted within a couple of hours even though it was raining, which really impressed us.

I would definatley go back next year but my other half wants to go an a week long Gulet cruise around the med after going on the All inclusive Cruise so maybe the year after next

We went to Pegasos Palace on the 5th September and had an amazing time. Before we went we went through all your most likely going through now, but once being there it shows how amazing it is. All the bad reviews are because of the hotel not being finished at that time. It is now 95% finished and is a wonderful place to go.

The small complaints about the hotel that people are saying are because of the hotels size. It is apsolutely massive and requires cleaning and caring for 24/7.

We stayed on the ground floor which was fine but it meant that we had a disabled room. This meant that there was no carpet, just tiles. There was railings all over our room and we had no bath, just a little shower room in the bathroom.

The food was not as we expected it to be, its the same thing over and over again and gets boring after a while, there is bars all over the hotel which is brilliant.

The staff are normally very nice but occasionally they have their moments. Sometimes they ignore you but to be honest, I would be a little stressed out if I was serving thousands of people all day!

For everyone that wants to know, there is no laundry facility, you just have to use your room sink, so pack some travel clothing wash or you can buy some in one of the many shops that are in the hotel. Bear in mind that the prices at the shop are extremely high, it cost us
