This hotel is a very good standard the food is very nice if you like egg and chips and burgers then go to Blackpool!! Pancakes for breakfasts Yummy! Yes You do see the same food but you will never get different dishes every day!
Staff are very helpful and so friendly
Children's Entertainment is fab the best I have ever seen.
I have been back for 1 day and already want to return
I don't normally have this kind of holiday but I really enjoyed it couldn't fault it at all.
Lots of people are complaining over very stupid things!

Check-in was fast and on first impression the staff were very friendly. Our bags were taken up to our room by the bell boys, which was a relief!
As the week went on we noticed how hard the staff worked in every department; the cleaning staff were always busying themselves clearing tables, brushing and mopping the floors, cleaning the rooms, which meant the hotel was absolutely spotless! The gardeners were hard at work planting and maintaining the gardens and the chefs were constantly preparing and cooking fresh food.
In our opinion, you could not have faulted the food as there was so much choice. I had heard reports about the food being covered in flies all the time, but when we were there most things were covered, and we never saw flies around the food. I don't think it matters how fussy you are, you will always find something to eat at this hotel.
We went to the Italian restaurant one night which was an experience! The poor waiter was so rushed off his feet but the food was really nice!
Make sure you try the hotdogs that they sell in the pool bar at lunchtimes, i think we could have lived on them!
As the week went on we noticed that night times seemed to get busier which meant there were often small queues at the bars, but we never queued for more than 5 minutes. The bar staff were a good laugh, trying to get my partner to drink neat raki. He loves the stuff but the staff thought it was hilarious!
There isn't much around the hotel, which suited us really, after all, when you're all inclusive who needs to go looking for other bars and restaurants?
The beach is really nice, and the breeze makes it more pleasant than certain times when you are around the pool when it becomes really hot.
I would say that the current in the sea was maybe too strong for children and lilos, but i wouldn't say it was dangerous for adults to go in. We were in there everyday and survived to tell the tale!!!
Lastly, we had heard that the entertainment left a lot to be desired, but for a group of 4 friends in our twenties it was good enough! Ok so the First Choice reps could have done with some more rehearsal time but they did their best and don't forget you haven't bought tickets to see a west end musical!
Just walk around, you'll find something that interests you!
The nightclub was always dead, but they are very strict on no under 18's being allowed in there, which made it hard for families to go in. We always had a laugh in there.
One tip while i remember; a couple we met had some laundry done by the hotel (and we are talking a few items here), and it cost them

The pools are huge and all have some kind of slides or water features even the baby pools.
The grounds once again huge, landscaped and when mature will be outstounding
wW found all staff to be courteous and polite, although not all guests deserved the respect given
Food was varied with lovely sweets and salads, due to the large capacity of the hotel and queues for freshly cooked food it was sometimes cold when you reached your table but a microwave was available if needed. we tried two theme restaurants, the italian - highly reccomended and the Indian - worth a visit for a change of scenery.
The beach foam party was brilliant and another nice touch was the local market being brought to the complex one evening - although most stalls at the tropical.
Entertainment was varied depending on which venue but karaoke took place most evenings in the tropical beach bar, a duo singing in palace pool bar, big screen football in the pool snackbar and mini disco, live acts and shows in the amphitheatres, do check the boards or listen for anouncements to make sure that you don't miss anything.
The kids clubs were brilliant, our 3 children are all of an age to consider themselves to be 'past' kidsclub but they attended sessions for raft building canoeing and water ball games and throughly enjoyed themselves.
The beach was a little disappointing as rather coarse and the sea quite rough but the pools more than made up for this.
There was no need to reserve sunbeds while we were there but mattresses were in short supply so if you want some comfort bring camping mats or lilos.
All in all a brilliant holiday and looking through the brochures now nothing seems to match up to it so will probably have to get saving to go back again, we are so glad we didn't cancel as we had a wonderful time and i'm sure you will to.
A word of advice do make sure you visit both hotels to get the best from your holiday as facilities are spread between the two.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, everywhere you looked the staff were cleaning or cutting the grass or collecting empty glasses etc.
We arrived on the resort at 1:30am and had a problem that out patio door would not lock, after calling reception within 10 minutes they were there to fix it.
The food was great but obviously not what you would get at home but you expect then when travelling abroad. There was always something to choose from, lots of salads and pasta dishes.
The entertainment again was good, there were also lots of little bar areas where you could just sit and have a drink without any entertainment that was nice too. The beach party was fantastic.
I would definately recommend this hotel for families, we would go there again. There was just one thing we had a problem with and that was the mosquitos but I must say the hotel doctor was fantastic whn we enquired about creams to use for the bites.

I must warn anyone who is having an interconnecting room but travelling alone and not actually sharing the two rooms with friends or family. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the room next to you. During my first week I rather guiltily overheard complete conversations between a husband and wife about their family and feelings towards them. And during my second week.. when the next family moved in... I spent three hours (after being woken by their noisy arrival in the early hours of the morning) listening to them talk about the ins and outs of a cats backside. Please be aware.. everything you say.. everything you do.. every cupboard you open.. every cough... trump... burp... sneeze and moan can be heard by the people in the room next door if you are interconnecting.
I must agree with many of the positive comments on this forum that have come in since the debacle of the early part of the season. The Palace is an amazing place to stay. The only people who complained about anything in the whole of our 15 strong party were a couple of extremely picky people who moaned about getting three quarters of a glass of beer and the speedy service in the Italian Resteraunt (Mr Lubba Lubba anyone).
The place is spotless, the staff work hard to keep you happy.. especially if you treat them with the respect they deserve for putting up with the atrocious way they are treated by 80% of the people at the hotel. Some simple basic rules are just completely ignored by guests at the complex and it is this disregard for the "rules" that resulted in mess. You are specifically asked not to take plates of food back to your rooms and yet this simple request is ignored and then results in people littering the corridors with plates of half eaten food and wondering why their are flies buzzing around.
The pool areas were kept as clean as possible under the circumstances. I saw on a numerous occasions people eating food at the poolside and then leaving their plates with the remnants of food on them lying around to be blown about by the wind that seemed to descend every afternoon. If these people had bothered to put their plates in one of the copious amounts of bins around the pool area then there would have been no sign of the squashed chips and pizza and spilt drinks... you wouldn't leave your food lying around at home.. (would you?).
The children in our party ranged in age from 9 years old to 14 years old. The elder children were able to keep themselves occupied (sunbathing by the pool every day and hanging out with us "elders" in the evenings. The younger children didn't want to join any of the clubs and are well behaved enough not to have to worry that they just wanted to hang out with us all day.
We all enjoyed the various types of entertainment that went on in the evenings. Cabaret.. shows.. discos.. everything. There is a wide variety. If anyone was lucky enough to catch the "Soul Man" then I am sure they will heartily agree with me that he was fabulous.
I really have nothing else to add regarding the food. Everything I had was hot.. and fresh and, as long as you have a good look at what you are eating.. you shouldn't have any problems. The range was massive.. there really is something for everyone.. you just have to hunt around for it.
The beach is admittedly a bit of a let down. but for just 5 lira and smile you can get a taxi in to Sarigerme Beach which is spotless golden sand.. with fabulous safe shoreline for swimming and even facilities for getting coffee and snacks it is well worth the trip if you fancy laying on a beach if you get sick of the 17 different pools.
For anyone getting married at the Tropical I would like to warn you. The prices you see in the First Choice Wedding Brochure are only the tip of the iceberg. Although I don't have the precise details my friend (who was married during our vacation) was stunned by the amount and cost of the simple extras (like getting her hair done and flowers and wedding photos)and these are all things that you don't hear about until you sit with the wedding co-ordinator.
Mossies... DO NOT FORGET to spray yourself with mossie repellant before leaving for the airport.. no matter what time of day or night it is. Myself and my daughter amazingly got through the whole two week vacation without one mossie bite... (Avon Insect Repelleant After Sun Lotion and Jungle thingy spray from Boots) only for me to be eaten alive in the airport and on the plane on the way home.
Thats it... I would have had an absolutely amazing and fantastic holiday if it hadn't been for the fact that the bride (my best friend) was so sick both before during and after the wedding (in fact for most of the vacation) that she only wore her wedding dress for 20 minutes and couldn't even stay for the "reception" ...

I had booked this with my mum for a peaceful week away, as we had holidayed back in July with the kids. We as others had read mixed reports about the Pegasos Complex - in Sarigerme, so this is what we would like to update you with!
Firstly before I give you our report, please read this: it's is a Mosquito's Paradise. Please if you are going out here, stock up with really good Mosquito repellent, creams, Piriton and antihistamine cream.... we were absolutely eaten alive, as was everyone else in this resort. I have children, (10 & 3 who didn't come with us) and I would never go back to this resort, unless this problem is rectified. This ruined our holiday, on one day, my mum felt really ill and I am sure this was because she had been bitten so many times - this was a real problem for us and most of the holidaymakers on the week we were there, there was not one person we didn't see, who hadn't been bitten, or who was scratching their arms/legs. It really was awful & only one problem we encountered here, however we would not go back and take the children, we would not subject to this!
There were little children who had been bitten on their faces, and they were going around with swollen eyes (black eyes) purely from being bitten. People were having injections by the hospital doctor - so this is only fair that we write this.
We flew out from Bristol, fantastic flight/ service. When we arrived at Dalaman airport, it was a bit chaotic, but we were eventually on route to our hotel, which was the Pegasos Palace & literally only a 20 min coach drive from the airport. Beautiful scenery on route, lush mountains/ scenery.
The complex is split into two hotels, the Palace, and the Tropicale. We had a Jacuzzi Suite room booked (3509) we were booked in quite effortlessly and absolutely impressed beyond when we entered the lovely building which was immaculate, lovely furniture, lovely paintings and overall, first impressions- Great!!!!!
We were issued with our all inclusive wrist bands and our cases were taken to our room by a baggage chap, who was very miserable I have to say, and hung about until we found some money to pay him with!!!! .
A lot of the staff spoke very bad English and also looked very miserable for the week that we were there. With regards to currency in the hotel shops they took Lira, Euro and English money, 1 Lira was equivalent to about 0.40p There was a couple of shops in the hotel, we only used the mini shop on couple of occasions and it was expensive. There was a shop also selling "fake" designer wear and his prices were very expensive. They do not like haggling with you , as basically the resort is stuck in the middle of nowhere, so unless you book a trip out of the resort you are stuck there.
The hotel was immaculate, and our room was cleaned every day, with clean towels. We had a Jacuzzi suite, which was a very modern /contemporary room, with a Jacuzzi bath with the jets. We cannot fault the room at all, as it was lovely.
There was a buffet Breakfast/ Lunch & there was always a good selection of foods to choice from. The only comment i have is that the restaurant in the evenings was chaotic, bit like a butlins self service canteen, it would have been nice to have been designated a table for the duration of your holiday, as I was a bit like musical chairs, ie, bums on chairs, or you lose your seat. The waiters in the restaurant were also quite miserable, and on two occasions, took our plates off our table whilst still eating!
The Swimming pools were fantastic, (cold) and there was always loads of activities for children going on.
Evening entertainment was awful - the Amphitheatre props were absolutely rubbish - and i feel that more money should be spent on giving the entertainment reps, more funding. One night they did a show and were using scaffolding poles to stand on and sing/dance??

We had a few problems but the head rep sorted these out after the reps failed to do so.
We got what we thought was the dreaded bug - the week after we got back we atill were'nt well - stool samples have revealed salmonella!!!We arrived back on the 19th September and my husband and son are still unwell!
Kind of wrecked our Honeymoon!lots of people were ill at the same time, people having injections for the pains etc. Are we the only one's who have been diagnosed?!?!?
The pools were great, the themed resturants were great, and we thought the food was ok too i think they just have'nt got the food temperate control right yet!
They have a few teething problems - the volume of the entertainment!!!! but i'm sure it will be sorted for next year.

Restaurant similar to factory canteen, food average, sometimes cold.
Bar staff unfriendly, the occasional smile would have been nice!

My two kids had a wonderful time, we took full advantage of the kids clubs whilst we were there, and I have to say that all the kids reps are without doubt, the best thing about the whole resort, they are professional, and very caring and more important in control of the childrens safety, whilst they are within they are in the kids club, I especially applaud the way they make sure that they have all the in the club room until they have been signed out on the form.
The trips we took were all very good, I really enjoyed the jeep safari, our driver memhet might not have said an awful lot but, we had a great laugh, he was terrific with the kids, letting them all take a turn up front, he even brought a water pistol along which my daughter managed to soak just about everyone with at one time or another.
The Fethiye shopping trip was good but to be honest we found the gold centre and the leather shop a bit of a waste of time. Our tour guide was very good though especially when a gentleman on our coach slipped and almost certainly broke his hip, he was quick and and did not panic at all within minutes he had organised an ambulance and the gentleman was very well looked after.
The last trip we went on as a family was the Dalyan mud bath trip and we had a great time although I would recommend you make sure that you avoid getting the mud in your eyes as it can cause a nasty infection.
Going on the river boat was good and seeing the tombs carved into the rocks was the highlight of the trip for my husband.
My son and husband went on the two day trip to Ephesus and Pamukule. They both enjoyed it very much, and my son was really interested in all the ruins and really liked swimming in Cleopatras pool.
The holiday village itself,
Accommodation: Yes it is clean and you do see them going around all the time making sure it stays that way, however I don't know if painting the ceiling whilst guests are still on resort really comes into general housekeeping. My husband is a tradesman and he basically felt the place had been thrown up to get it open on time, and in places was "Jerry Built"
Food: repetetive which I expected but to be honest not too nice at all, and at breakfast the omelette and pancake chefs like to halt services when ever they feel like it, ususally by saying to queue that is waiting for either a pancake or a omlette "finnished" and just walk away - not really on.
Entertainment: not worth the risk if being bitten to death by the mozzies that dive bomb you in the ampitheatre.
Mozzies: to be honest they really do make it unbearable in there, all our family have been bitten even despite our efforts to wear repellant. My son stopped going to the wavelengh club because it meant going across to the tropical and was getting biten all over his face. My daughter would sit crying with frustration as she scratched at her skin but gained no relief.
To be honest I cannot tell you what both my Husband and I thought and felt as well, lets just say I would have to edit it a lot. I have had to buy antihistomine tablets whilst in resort and now that I am back have had to go and get more from my GP.
I feel cheated in someways because the mozzies do to an extent ruin things for everyone. I just feel they should have more sense than to build a holiday complex on a swamp and marsh land.
I would go back to Turkey, but I know for a fact I will never return to Pegasos Palace.
