I was in the bank yesterday, and got to talking to the cashier about next years holiday. I said i was booked to go to the delphin palace, and the cashier next door said my mum has just come back from there. It was the best holiday she has ever had and their 5 year old loved the fun fair

I hate the weather here at the moment, and want to go back to turkey.

We have just returned from the Delphin on Friday 17th August, me, hubby and 2 boys aged 7 & 5.

It really is the best hotel we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few over the years including Mexico and this one really is the best. The overall quality is superb!!!!!!

I will do a review in a few days but in the mean time if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask!!!

Hi Karen,
we are off to the Delphin in September for 2 weeks with our daughter who will be 4 in December, just wondered, did you use the kids club at all?
Just wondered if you have to sign in and out? also did you book the a la carte's read somewhere you can now phone from yr room to book and don't have to queue in the mornings! glad you had a fab holiday

thanks

Hi Emma

You lucky things, you'll love it!! My eldest son used the kids club, but just one day. Unfortunately it's not a sign in or out. He's 7 and we used to sunbathe near the club anyway, so he popped in one day and they all dressed up as pirates and went down the beach for around 20 minutes but he didnt go again. It would be great for young children like yours but you will have to stay with them for own peace of mind.

We went on the 3rd August and on the 2nd the hotel had introduced a telephone service for the a la cartes. It took about 1 minute from your room and you can book from 9.00 am til 5.00 pm for the following day. We used to do it early around 9.00. We went to the chinese & the mexican and both were really good, especially if you get a seat outside. It's just a lovely atmosphere, however, the main buffet restaurant has everything you could ask for. You could eat all day, which I did sometimes. I was a size 8 when I went and sure that I have put on over a stone. There are scales dotted around everywhere so you can weigh yourself if you want, but I didnt bother.

Around the pool at various times, you can have kebabs from 12.30 pm - 3.00 pm, then a meat wrap from 3.15 pm til 5.00 pm, then hot waffles from 5.15 til 6.00 pm. Also at another part you can get baked potatoes. Another man comes round with water melon plus another with apples, cucumber, carrots. Honestly it goes on and on!!!

Anything else just ask.

Been to Antalya area several times but never heard of Talk of the Town - unless it's in Antalya city centre (only been there during the day)
