STEMMA: Like jay trip said about the 2 pieces of coral to the left of the jetty it's not deep, i think we could stand the whole time,Lovely fish.
PATRICKFINN: All towels are provided poolside and room ones.
Can't help with the kids den as we had a standard room in block 5 which was a fantastic spot, I do believe that there may be kids dens in that block but not 100% sure.
We went in May and we had our 2 kids with us aged 7 & 9 and we went out to the coral just off the jetty and left a bit,we saw some lovely fish. I think it may be too far to take a 9 year old out to the darker blue sea. Me and my husband put the kids in the kids club and were attempting to swim out to the deeper part and it was just taking forever and we gave up and we are both strong swimmers and swimming teachers.
The al la carte restaurants all do childrens menus or they can have a smaller version of the adult menu, but the buffet is still open so they could always go there afterwards.
7.30/8am should be ok to get a bed ,it depends on how busy it is when you are there. We used to go to the beach, much more peaceful and you could always get a bed.
Can't help with the football.
Icecreams I think started at 11am through to about 4pm. There ars shops that you can buy them from.
The only trip we did was Tiran Island and to be honest we saw better fish off the hv jetty. It was a lot of hanging about and although we booked it through aquarius I don't think the 2 guides who took us were that good.
Sorry I have rambled on a bit.

Stemma,
:offtop Try Ras Mohammed trip this time we undertook this trip when staying at the CSR will see superb fishes. Although I am quite optimistic that we will see wonderful sealife again from HV.
Last year hubby was face to face with a Napolean fish, these can be nasty :yikes and wanted me to face it out. Yeah right.
We arrive a week later than you 6 weeks and 2 days to go

11 more get ups to go

We are in a standard room, can anyone tell me what they are like please, 2 adults and 1 child in our party.

The man who loads your bags on the coach i've read puts his hand out for a tip, is this still true, i thought they had already been paid by First Choice. I wouldnt like to feel intimidated the minute i get there.

I've also bought some mugs of our own as i've heard there may be a kettle but no cups in the room, can anyone advise on this, i can always use them at the poolside of course.

DEBBIESW: The standard rooms are huge, massive double bed and camp beds for kids, but good camp beds.
There were cups in our standard room, with a kettle.
When we went in May we just went to our coach and put our cases on ourselves. The driver was just organizing them,we didn't tip him.

I know its probably been posted before but can someone give me the email address for the hotel please, now that the age restriction is changed for the swim-up rooms I'm going to email and ask how much extra it would cost me for one of those rooms.

Please can you tell me if men have to wear long trousers in the a la cartes or will smart linen 3/4 be ok.
Don`t really want to have to take any long trousers as its going to be so hot.

Thanks

You know how you can eat in the main restaurant lunch time, I just wonderd what the dress code is for that? Obviously we will be in swimwear but cant see them letting you go in and eat in just a bikini? Dont fancy having to get too dressed either. Do you think kaftan or sarong will be acceptable? We normally just grab a bag of crisps or a sarnie for lunch but just wondered in case we do eat in. Thanks for all previous answers to questions, this is a most helpful board

you can prebook seats for way home whilst there. They will tell you that at the welcome meeting I think its £5 each.
No you don't have to wear long trousers in the al la carte restaurants.
At lunchtime there is a poolside bar serving lunch, people used to queue up in swimwear,I don't know about the main restaurant being open lunchtime as we didnt go in there at that time, but think you would be fine just to put something over swimwear.

Good morning all,

Can anyone please tell me what time the welcome meeting is when you arrive? I`m assuming it will be morning time. Can I ask then if you have sunbeds at the pool and then go to this meeting will your towels be taken off? Sorry if you think its a daft question but would hate to lose my towels on the first morning if we decide to go. Thanks x

jolo123- The dresscode at lunchtime in the restaraunt tended to be shorts and t-shirts but some did just wear sarongs or kaftans.
Katiesmum- Our welcome meeting was at 10.30. We got our beds by the pool first then wondered up to meeting and they were there when we got back. The meeting was only about 40 mins long but to be honest a bit of a waste of time. The only thing we did was book our son on soccer school and register at kids club but I think this can be done without attending.
